Self Exploration

The merry pranksters of Digital Camel have been engaged in a binge of “all face-morphing, all the time” and I, for one, like it.

[I'm finally about ready to begin blogging again but I need to ease back into it, with lots of pictures.]

It all began here a couple weeks ago, when wild man Kevin posted his initial experimentation with the technology. Which, it turns out, is totally addictive.

Never one to shy away from an opportunity to explore the outer limits of my personhood, I gladly pick up the gauntlet. Herewith:

This is my typical boring, stuffy self:

The El Greco version – possibly the best photo ever taken of me:

Modigliani version, emphasizing my quiet dignity:

“Drunk” Joe – well, no news here, folks:

Let’s try with another bit of blase source material:

Now, East Asian Joe – quite an improvement, for reasons I cannot discern:

“Manga” Budzinski – for my Mom:

And the best for last – Apeman Joe, “50% Chimp,” and if this is where evolution is leading us, you can pencil me in as Philosopher-King right now:

That is one pensive ape-man.

I encourage everyone to check it out. Be the best you can be. And if you don’t have the time, let me know because I have head shots of lots of y’all.

I think East Asian Joe is best. Though your half-man half-ape is pretty good too.

I quite like the Modigliani version. But I think I’ll stick with the original boring, stuffy Joe.

The El Greco version looks like John Lennon with a tie. Sorry Joe, I think I just compared you to an old Dead hippie.

I think the “Manga” Joe looks like “Chuckie”. Hmmm. Interesting. could you redo that one with a grin?

  5. We should all get this done and form a political movement.

you know, w/ all the technology the government has some of it would have made it into the private sector to improve the aging and baby functions. I was a ltle disappointed w/ those.

But overall, it was an amusing way to spend 20 minutes! :-)
