It’s about time someone had the courage to say what we all know deep down in our hearts.

In some cases, violence is necessary, but there must be limits. Those “good human rights organizations” don’t make any exceptions in their solutions because their aim is to serve society. Will it be a better society once we see wives, mothers, sisters and daughters going from one police station and one court to another, complaining against their husbands, fathers, brothers and even sons?

I can answer that question for all of us: Good lord, NO!

While some may turn their noses up at a concept of society where such “politically incorrect” ideas still hold sway, let me remind everyone of a little thing called historical context: It’s 24 YEARS after 1984, people. When I was in high school I thought that by 2008 we’d all be zooming around with rocket packs and ingesting books in tablet form. But here we are: no bionic bodies, no time travel; just Viagra and Madden NFL ‘08. Talk about thin gruel … Thus compound the disappointments of the “modern” world.

But back in Yemen, they’ve suffered no such letdowns because they’ve been keepin’ it real all along. Smackin’ their women upside the head. Riding their flying carpets. And telling their story so eloquently.
