Zimzo’s Greatest Hits

February 25th, 2008 by joe

It appears the need has arisen to access an archive of our Zimzo’s writings here. With the search feature in the old blog broken, we are left with Google, which is probably better anyway.

Here it is.

Quite the trip down memory lane.

The “need” that has arisen is that Jack called me a liar but couldn’t find one example to prove his accusation even after you and Kevin provided this handy link to help him out. Then he didn’t have the grace or integrity to take back his false accusation. Anyone who looks through these archives will see that what really irks Jack is that I have been proven right time and time again. No wonder he’s so angry.

I wouldn’t push that line of argument too far, old buddy old pal. I seem to recall, back when I attempted to have extended, serious discussions with you, I became aware you had a clever habit of shifting focus. At one point you took to declaring things established which had by no means been established. I long ago wrote all of this off to the magic of Zimzo. I believe others have come to the same conclusion.

  3. zimzo said:

I had a clever habit of beating your arguments that’s why you have resorted to making personal attacks against me.

    zimzo,
one more thing, don’t you tell jack that ‘you ain’t writing a book’ or some such when he asks the same of you?

  6. zimzo said:

Katie said that conservatives are angry people and when Jack questioned that notion (!) she asked him “are you not looking at the republican stickers? are you that blinded?” Jack said she could not provide examples because what she said was bull. I provided examples. Then Jack moved the goalposts (as usual) and said there were no examples of angry conservatives shouting anyone down or attacking them. I provided examples of that. Then Jack accused the Equality Riders of hoaxing the vandalism of their bus based on no evidence claiming that “there have been several instances lately of liberals defacing their own stuff to get attention.” I then provided an example of a conservative who had hoaxed his own victimization and Jack moved the goalposts again claiming that Ann Coulter had created a list of many such instances of liberals doing this. I then decided I was tired of playing Jack’s game of perpetually moving the goalposts and refusing to admit when he was wrong so I said that I was not going to provide him with a list of an equal number of conservatives who have done this because no one was paying me to write a book. Jack then called me a liar. I asked him to provide an example of a single instance where I had lied. He could not. That is where it stands.

“even after you and Kevin provided this handy link to help him out”

aw, c’mon, Zim. I actually added it to help you out. He kept talking about proof of your past lies on the old blog and then saying the link was dead. I made him a liar by providing it (a chance you didn’t jump on) and then he still hasn’t provided an instance. They’re just trying to get you worked up, anyways.

  8. Jack said:

Your “habit,” zimzo, was to simply not answer questions at all.

Here’s a good set of zimzo lies — all in one post: http://www.novatownhall.com/blog/2006/08/two_fallacies_in_the_same_sex.php

Just add “lie” or “liar” into the Google search Joe provided!

  9. Jack said:

I, for one, am glad you provided the link — I thought it was all lost. Now I will not have to re-post the crime and gun-control data when the liberals here forget them again.

You guys dedicate a thread to zimzo and then tell him to get over himself - the logic (or lack there of) of posters on this thread never ceases to amaze me.

    zimzo,

I, too, tried at the beginning to have civil and decent conversations/debates with you but shortly into it I realized that you can’t stay focused and are ready dismantle claims with non-pertaining data or no data at all.

You and my ex have alot in common. You are a life-sucking-nonsensical-self-centered individual with no real goal but to harrass, mis-quote and confuse. I liken you to a blackhole (a spacial anomaly) where you are extremely dense, everything about you is darkness and no light exudes from you. This is a name that makes more sense.

  13. jack said:

I appreciate you, ACTivist, really. But that last post was so full of misspellings it was painful to look at, so I went in and fixed them.

  14. ACTivist said:

    Jack,

How can I get a dictionary to do spell check on this site? I don’t know alot about the workings of computers, I am a 2 finger typer where my brain is already 3 pages ahead, and I would not like you cringing on a regular basis while reading my posts. Any help on this would be appreciated (and thanks for the “ghost typing”).

  15. MARJORIE said:

    jack

cut and paste, in other words write in word, do spell check and copy completed to intended site.

  16. jack said:

I have the Google Toolbar for Internet Exploder. It has a button to spell-check user-input text fields.

  17. Eric the 1/2 troll said:

The thing about a blackhole is it really does emit a great deal of energy if you just have the ability and knowledge to perceive of it.

  18. jacob said:

    Eric,
Yes, but is does destroy everything it come into contact with.

  19. ACTivist said:

    Troll,

Not all energy is good. Check out a 3 year old on sugar. And energy is not the issue. It only exacerbates the negative aspects.

  20. ACTivist said:

    Jack,
I don’t have that and my daughter told me it is too easy to track things using it. Like Marjorie, she told me to put it in word, spellcheck, then paste. Sounds simple enough.

  21. jack said:

    Troll,

You may be speaking of Hawking Radiation, by which a black hole, in isolation, would very slowly “evaporate.”

“The Hawking radiation… is minuscule. The Hawking temperature of a 30 solar mass black hole is a tiny 2×10-9 Kelvin, and its Hawking luminosity a miserable 10-31 Watts.”

Aside from that, all energy given out by black holes is produced by the particles flowing in as their gravitational potential energy is converted to heat.

The same phenomenon is seen in collapsing gas clouds that form stars — the protostars radiate energy as they collapse until the core fusion starts, at which point an equilibrium is established and we call it a star. Just as the Bible said, the light DID come before the Sun.

(Yes, I did a research paper on proto-stellar collapse. There is actually a very short (a few thousand years) of deuterium fusion during which the protostar is also stable. However, we do not consider those stars, because objects too small for hydrogen fusion can still be large enough for deuterium fusion.)

Thanks, Kevin, for providing the link. I was being ironic when I said you did it to help them out. Of course, I knew it would vindicate me.

The thread that Jack finally linked to does have instances of his calling me a liar. In fact, as I point out in my comment that Jack has a habit of “constant labeling of people who present facts that don’t jibe with his world view as ‘liars.’” Simply repeating over and over again that someone is a liar because they disagree with you does not make it so.

  23. kevin said:

See? Now everybody’s havin’ fun. Good times, good times. Looks like my work here is done, thank you ladies and gentlemen.

When I noticed that my informative and polite comment on this ridiculous piece

    http://pwconservative.blogspot.com/2008/02/exclusive-pornstars-for-obama.html

which PWConservative promoted this blog in another thread was deleted for no reason other than the fact that I disagreed with the writer, it reminded me that no matter how exasperating some of the personal attacks on this blog can be, the fact that Joe even allows me and others who disagree with him to comment here is more than many bloggers do and he should be congratulated for it.

  25. Joe Budzinski said:

Despite the undeniable Cro-Magnon leanings I do have a basically libertarian nature. Thanks for the kind note, Zimzo.

And for the record, I enjoy PW Conservative’s occasional comments here, but I do not understand that blog post. Does Eric Balfour get naked in the Obama video or something? I imagine there are a hundred things I’ll think of for Barack Obama to apologize for, but I don’t get what one of Eric Balfour’s movies has to do with anything.

In case anybody’s forgotten, Bo Derek was a huge George W. Bush supporter in the past election, and he never got called to account for Bolero, the “hottest erotic film of the century.”

Balfour was also in 24 where he played a great American hero. Do we say on this basis that Obama now has national security credibility?

Thanks to everyone for helping in my experiment, I have now concluded that hyped non-offensive associations (Think Macaca) are only a detriment to republicans and have no effect whatsoever on democrats. \
And also, no one was actually able to pick up on the satirical nature of the post, Which I found to be odd, Considering the whole Bush-Mary Cary story of 04, It’s quite funny actually.

Gee, zimzo, we ENJOY it. You dropped off for a while, and we missed having a punching bag.

Speak for yourself, Jack. There are plenty of other punching bags that can hold linear conversation AND won’t touch on the seven supressing sins: racism, homosexuality, slavery, bigotry, fascism, feminism and zimzo-ology!

Sounds like he followed his friend Chief Ramsey to the city of “brotherly love”. Would be very appropriate, don’t you think?
