That means that if you run a daycare, you can't hire a convicted sex offender. And, if you are a US business, you can't legally & knowingly hire people who have forged their papers, stolen someone else's identity, etc. And, particularly, the government shouldn't be hiring people who come here in contravention of our laws. Can you imagine what would happen to the demand for illegal labor if just the government -- at all levels -- insisted that all of its employees, contractors and their subcontractors, were only legal hires? um, you can hire whoever the heck you want — within the law, Brian.
