It seems that talks have begun between Osama-bama and Clinton…..Bill Clinton that is. With Bore-rock being grilled by the liberal press on some very touchy issues and Hilly starting to regain her popularity and charm, it seems that Bill has been causing alot of trouble in the Obama camp. Word has it that there has already been 2 private meetings between BJ and Bore-rock. The discussions alude to how to keep BJ quiet and from doing further harm. A deal is being made as we speak to allow BJ to have the VP spot with Bore-rock if he will just shut-up about these embarrassing issues in Bore-rocks’ past (and present, it would seem).
When BJ was asked if any of this was true, the only thing he had to say was “I can’t comment at this time but I will tell you that if it were to be, Hillary would bow out of the race to support me as any good wife should. And Hillary is a damn good wife!”
Now I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t believe Hilly to be just any old fool. Not when April shows her as being first in this race. I think that BJ is just one big joke.

Where is the outrage? I see these people, calling themselves Christians, building a compound in Texas for the purpose of raping underage girls, as part of their religious beliefs, and I haven’t seen a single Christian leader stand up and denounce this, or say that it’s not what the Christian religion is all about. This country has the biggest Christian populations of any country in the world. People say this is a Christian nation! In this Christian country, people will take to the streets in protest if someone tries to jog through town with the olympic torch for crying out loud! And yet when Christians conspire to do such horrifying things, the silence from the Christian community is deafening. Apparently Christians see child molestation as acceptable. What’s going on?!

The animosity is toward a group that CALLS themselves Christian and then does horrible things to other people i.e. children.
Where is the outrage on this? For several recent years I heard non-stop harangues about gay people should marry and the sanctity of marriage.
Where is your outrage that these men took these innocent children in a mockery of an adult right and used it only to perpetuate pedophilia.
Where is your anger?
No, you immediately call someone gay as if that had something to do with anything.
I’d say SPMM is having a far better response than I’ve seen so far.
If good Christian people do not want to be lumped in with this sort response than what I’ve seen here so far.

I think you guys got lost somewhere but, hey. I never expected a response to an April Fool thread.
I think you are referring to a story about the Mormans that started a cult order in Texas until the whistle was blown by a 14 year old to the authorities because of abuse. It deals with men (over 19 years old) being paired and married to young girls (under 18). This is not new in society and has been going on for thousands of years in so many cultures. As Americans is it acceptable? Not any more (except for Jerry Lee Lewis). Even the Mormans of today do not condone multiple wives.
The reason that the Christian leaders haven’t said anything about it is because……IT DOESN’T MATTER WHY! It will happen in time. Meanwhile, stay away from the homosexual thing. They (queer people) believe they can be christian and if GOD wanted it to be different HE would have smote them by now. I believe HE is waiting for their repentence.
If you would like, I can start that thread with correct heading and we can bring the viewpoint of the world in on it (this IS an internationally renowned blog after all). Otherwise, if you have extra quantities of the drug you are using, times are rough and I would like to be in the parallel universe you guys are coming from. 76 trombones!

Personally I believe we should wait for a full investigation and a trial before we hang these folks. Right now all the allegations I have read about are based upon an affidavit from an unidentified informant.
The same rush to judgement occurred in Waco, and we all know how that turned out.
Yes, I am horrified by these allegations, but as of now, they ARE allegations. SPMM understands why I wrote what I did.

It’s my understanding that most in the Christian community do not consider Mormonism to be the same as Christianity, do they?

Correct. Christians do not consider Mormons to be Christians. According to Mormon beliefs:
1. if you are a man and a good Mormon you will become a God with you very own planet
2. you wife will become eternally pregnant and help you populate this planet
3. Christ and Satan where brothers, Christ had a better plan
4. G-d was once a man
5. You salvation is earned
All of these and other Mormon held beliefs, are antithetical to Christianity.

First of all, the protesters tend to be anarchists, the ‘free Tibet’ crowd are by and large not a Christian bunch per se’, but instead they are a pack of Prius driving, liberal, atheist abortionists. As for the folks in San Fran in particular they are a pack of utterly deluded fools. Anyone who would vote for Nancy Pelosi is wasting valuable air and water that could instead be consumed by a more worthy being, like a maggot or a leach. Maybe a bottle fly.
No self respecting conservative would ever deign to live in that cesspool, Dr Savage is there I am sure only to observe these creatures in their natural environment. As liberalism is a mental disease S.F. should be designated the worlds largest asylum for the insane. First of all he is not a Christian, second of all he is too big a sissy to carry, let alone shoot a gun with any accuracy. First, let us establish some facts.
1) The Mormons do call themselves Christian.
2) The Mormon Church, in general, has abandoned the practice of polygamy and child marriage. (They were required to give up polygamy in order for Utah to be accepted as a State — so much for our vaunted Freedom of Religion.”) That’s why this sect had to go to Texas in the first place.
3) The perpetrators are not doing these things in the name of Christianity, unlike the Muslims who kill in the name of Islam.
4) Condemnation is not necessary, the laws enacted by this Christian nation have already done so, and the perpetrators will be tried under those laws.
5) At this point, there is no evidence except the word of an anonymous caller who has not yet been found.
6) That the liberals/socialists/progressives in this country have mandated the type of fuel we can buy, the kinds of toilets we can buy, and the kind of lightbulbs we can buy, proves beyond a doubt that they are fascists.

Just because someone says they are the President of the United States, does that make them President of the United States?
The great ecumenical councils determined what it was to be a Christian almost 2000 years ago. Mormons do not believe the Apostle’s creed — they reject “… I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.” They also reject from the Nicene creed “being of one substance with the Father. God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God.” From that standpoint, Mormons are not Christians. They may be something, but even if they call themselves Christian, the universal councils of old stated what that was, and if you don’t hold to those things, you aren’t Christian. It isn’t up to any splinter group to change what it means to be Christian–let alone a late comer in the 1800’s named Smith (or some woman named Eddy). The church universal already settled that long before these false prophets came on the scene.
Oh, if you are going to talk about pedophiles, perhaps you might consider a religion that was started by a “prophet” that married a six year old, and consummated the marriage when the child was nine.
