Dispatches: Herndon Election Approaches
April 3rd, 2008 by joe
Blog Fu has a great overview of the brewing battle in this western Fairfax County town.
Hard to believe it’s already been two years since Herndon’s voters turned out the pro-illegal town government. This next campaign deserves watching. The town’s liberal intelligentsia still cannot accept the fact they lost the May 2006 election, and long knives will be drawn against the perceived interlopers.
Herndon has accomplished what no other municipality in the U.S. has: Stepped up immigration enforcement at the local level, and a reduction in the illegal population against all odds (meaning, against the efforts of the mainstream media and politically correct local advocacy groups).
Stay tuned, we will be covering the Herndon contest in depth.

Just a thought but I would suggest that any and all articles pertaining to the on-going election issues with TOH be sent to the Loudoun BOS via e-mail so that they may be aprised of how it is done and what the outcome is. I think that the opposition in Herndon are going to trip over parts of their anatomy trying to make the anti-illegals look bad and in the end doing a self-destruct much like the Dem. party does nowadays. Couple this with what is going on in PW and the outcome should be a bell-ringer for citizens and politicians alike.

on another note, this is an interesting article, esp. for them what wants to believe that censorship is a liberal phenomenon:

What censorship, puffalump? Everyone agrees that adding “abortion” to the list of ignored words was an improper response to the finding of articles that did not meet the database criteria, and “abortion” was removed from that list.

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain,” right Jack?

That’s no answer, puffalump.

what censorship? use your brain, that’s what it evolved for! the gov expresses concern about the nature of articles dealing with abortion in the country’s premiere reproductive health database, resulting in the word “abortion” being added to a list of words to be ignored, such as “and,” “or,” “is,” and “the.” If that doesn’t set off any red flags for you, I don’t know what to tell you… The fact that people agree it was inappropriate doesn’t mean it didn’t happen
