Dans, it’s really not a bad idea. We actually discovered and then were able to shut down a local house of prostitution that way. The girlies didn’t realize that the gringo within earshot could understand them when they were discussing their prices for multiple-girl package deals with a potential customer.

Joe, The lady didn’t get far with me on my telemarketing solicitation, either. I’m not at all happy with the direction the Republicans have taken in the Congress…although I am happy to see McCain in ther running. He will tear away from Obama AND Clinton’s bases, and the SCOTUS is thereby secured from the Clinton factor for at least four more years.
Think big picture here, gentlemen.

Back last year when Mel Martinez was at the top of the RNC and Lindsay Graham was declaring “We’re gonna tell the bigots to shut up”, I was costing the RNC money with a vengeance. Multiple trips to the post office, many postage paid envelopes returned with lectures rather than money inside. That was the 2007 “Defund the RNC!” movement. Good times, good times.

To be perfectly honest, I am not necessarily doing ANYTHING right now except keeping my tape and Spanish-language phone books at the ready. I want to hear what McCain says when he speaks at the La Raza Convention in July.

Huh? Actually, there is no apostrophe in “retards”, PW.

My last RNC telemarketing solicitation ended with me telling the caller I now only give money directly to candidates I support, and the woman responding that “we are the only organization that can give funds to John McCain’s presidential campaign.”

This was not exactly a selling point.

My contribution to the McCain campaign this year, prompted by my good friend Dean (10 ft), is to mainly shut up about the presidential election. In fact, most of my posts on the election the past couple months have been to point out the frighteningly leftist, anti-American force of nature that is Barack Obama. I’m doing my part.

I’m a little disenchanted, and therefore I don’t have to give this time. I’ve given plenty of cash in past years. I’ve sent some money to individual Republican candidates this year. Right now the mountains of direct mail I am receiving from the national party just rub me the wrong way. Sort of like Juan Hernandez rubs me the wrong way.

If you feel it is necessary to provide more financial support to the various national GOP organizations, then you had better saddle up and dish out more cash.

5. ..postage paid envelopes (that you told your new contributors where sending the money home to “your family” to buy food and what-nots) so that the laser reader cannot “see” where the mail goes and it gets returned to you. And it is still tax deductable! And you save the cost of postage!

Just a different perspective but it also works. Kevin taught me how to manipulate things!
