UN Out Of U.S.

Author | joe | Posted on | June 5, 2008 | 19 Comments

It is time to shut it down. Take back the property, cut off U.S. funding, and send them all back to where they came from.

A “UN Official” – whatever the hell that is, presumably someone who has graduated from merely raping children and now also knows how to put on a suit – is planning to visit Prince William county to investigate its efforts to crack down on the the presence of illegal aliens:

Jorge Bustamante, the United Nation’s special rapporteur on migrants’ rights, plans to tour Manassas and Woodbridge, receive briefings on local enforcement measures, and attempt to meet with local officials.

He contacted immigrant leaders in the county two months ago to begin preparing for a visit, saying he was interested in the landmark nature of the county’s actions.

Special rapporteurs are tasked with reviewing human-rights issues of international concern to raise political pressure and shape public opinion, but cannot issue sanctions.

BVBL has a worthwhile take on this issue. Be sure to read it all.

My take is, run the son of a bitch out of town on a rail. Maybe a big reaction from the citizens will catch on in other communities to initiate an effort to defund the useless, corrupt institution.

I heard this on Chris Plante’s show this morning. I wonder what Corey Stewart will have to say about this?

This is a no brainer. PW should NOT meet with this guy being as this is a FEDERAL matter. It should be dealt with by our ambassador to the U(seless)N(obodies). Isn’t this the main purpose of the federal gov’t? Birchers and Christians have been trying to get the UN out of the US for sometime now. I believe we need to get a leader to finally put his foot down and send this useless organization to a country more deserving like; Iran, N. Korea, China, Somalia, Saudie Arabia, Ethiopia, Etcetera.

PW needs to refuse this guy and have him go thru the “correct” channels. Just say NO!

    Cathy,
According to the Examiner Stewart is willing to meet with this guy. Given Bustmante’s opinion that anyone who wants to enforce our immigration laws is a Nazi I say Stewart can tell to him to take a hike.

    Dear Mr Bustmante :

Thank you for the gracious invitation to meet.
However, I will have to decline in that I will be spending the next several days eating hot chicken wings and chili in preparation for my trip to your house, at which time I will take a crap on your front porch.

    Sincerely,
    Cory Stewart

What’s everybody so upset about? What’re you afraid of? It ain’t like anybody’s doing nothing wrong, right? Meet with the guy. Show him around town and show’m how business gets taken care of, I say!!

    Kevin:
This is a political stunt. It matters not the conditions on the ground. This guys takeaway will be PWCO is a racists enclave within spitting distance from the Nations Capitol. This guy is a global hack who should be ignored.

True, it does not matter what Bustamante sees, his “findings” have most likely already been written.

    Joe,
“UN Official” is kind like UN-Cola, “What is the point?” I would use this joker as a tackling dummy.

Invite him to whatever church the Farrakahn group is at…or find the local white supremacy group and leave him there….

Who cares where this guy goes or what he reports. Screw him. ITS the UN! They’re going to lie about it anyway. He wrote the report last week.

Why thanks, LI, it’s a post I was born for.

But wait. We can’t leave the UN. Socialist Republicans love the UN.

Remember, the fact that Hussein violated around 19 United Nations’ resolutions is one of the main arguments that the big-government Republicans use for justifying their illegal invasion and continuing occupation of Iraq…..

No, we were saving the Kurds from total elimination. Remember the WMDs. You liberals have a big problem with an “illegal invasion and continuing occupation” to another country yet why are you not crying out over the “illegal invasion and continuing occupation” of THIS country? Your response is awaited! (Is that even a word?)

    Brian R Gentry,
    I’m waiting for your answer.

inACTion: I don’t see you wanting to pony up to go into Darfur?? Please don’t give us the “WMD” line. No way you guys ever wanted to spend 4000 U.S. lives and $1T to save some Kurds. And you were happy as clams when Iraq was gassing Iran’s kids in the ’80’s.

The administration blew it, pure and simple. Will go down as one of the worst decisions ever. Gain: Little to none. Cost: Very, very, high in $$, lives, reputation, failure to find Bin Laden. 2,464 days and we still haven’t found the guy who did it.

    Sanity?

I am very happy knowing that you are loosing sleep over all this. Back in the 60’s and 70’s we had little chicken sh*ts like you slamming this country and its policies for the world to see. I guess we have another generation of the same useless whiners. Now you will have it your way and get another president to take over. In the meantime, take your whinning to a volunteer soldier, sailor, marine or airman and vent your frustration. After all, they truly are the only ones that have a legitimate grip with the government as far as the war and its operation goes. Then tell me what they said 6 months from now when your hands start working again.

As for Darfur-get with your buddy Clooney and his clan. Or better yet, be a man, get a gun and become a Merc. The locals will love you coming to their aid and you will feel better about yourself by doing something other then WHINNING!

  • Quote of the New Year

Last March, NASA reported the oceans have been cooling for the last five years. Sea level has stopped rising, and Northern Hemisphere cyclone and hurricane activity is at a 24-year low.

Environmental extremists and global warming alarmists are in denial and running for cover. Their rationale for continuing a lost cause is that weather events in the short term are not necessarily related to long-term climatic trends. But these are the same people who screamed at us each year that ordinary weather events such as high temperatures or hurricanes were undeniable evidence of imminent doom.

Now that global warming is over, politicians are finally ready to enact dubious solutions to a non-existent problem. In Britain, Parliament is intrepidly forging ahead with a bold new plan to cool the climate, even as London experienced its first October snowfall since 1934 and Ireland went through the coldest October in the last 70 years.

This is an absurd spectacle. Our advanced civilization is being systematically mismanaged by technologically illiterate lawyers responding to political pressures from irrational fanatics. Would someone please tell these people it is impossible to overturn the laws of thermodynamics?
