With Friends Like These …
September 6th, 2008 by jacob
Obama has some interesting friends. His former friend and spiritual mentor Jeremiah Wright is so interesting Obama had to disown him, after Obama became a public liability of epic proportion. Then there is Tony Rezko, he is another interesting pal. Then there is Bill Ayers, an anti-American terrorist who said he had not bombed enough (in his bombing campaign of America). Then there is Mayor Kilpatrick …
Obama has spoken on many occasions citing his superior judgment. For example, he was against the war while everyone else was for it. As an Illinois State Senator at the time of the start of the war, he had NO say regarding the decision to go to war. Hind sight is ever so 20-20. His running mate, Biden voted for it. Obama picked him as a running mate? That was Obama’s first public (possibly presidential) executive decision since he started running for the office of POTUS.
Judgment is something we apply to everything in daily life. Who we pick as our friends is one of those judgment calls. When we decide to end our association with someone is also a judgment call. Obama appears to have a knack for picking associates that are less than helpful. Is this a reflection upon Obama’s judgment?
I leave it to the gentle reader to decide. In my judgment Kilpatrick is another one of Obama’s friends who is less than helpful.

jacob, this is certainly an eye opener.
Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Khalid al-Mansour, George Soros, and now Kwame Kilpatrick .
Odd lot of friends for one with aspirations of public office.

“Despite McCain’s relationships with Hagee and Liddy, not to mention his party’s willingness to embrace a “radical” like Thomas, some might believe that I’m trying to create smoke where there’s no fire; that no reasonable person could possibly believe that McCain and his friends endorse terrorism, racism, and anti-Americanism”

el jefe,
hagee has no relationship with mccain. you are all wet on this one. hagee endorsed mccain, that does not mean a relationship. As for Justice Thomas, he is hardly a radical. His crime is not being beholden to the Democrat Party masters. As a house negor he bit the hand that fed him. Palin is a radical for similar reasons.
