“Dump Biden” Death Watch Continues

Novatownhall was out ahead of everyone on this one. In a previous article by our intrepid joe Biden’s days were considered numbered. I think Biden the guy just put a bullet in his own head. This was chivalrous but dumb.

Imho, this is not going to happen. If Hillary wants to be president, Obama must lose ! Think about it, why would Hill join Obama’s ticket to help him win, shutting herself out of any prospect as the Dem presidential candidate for 2012 ? Many believe the Obama ticket did not pick Hillary, but I believe the inverse is true, Hillary did not pick the Obama ticket. Any Hillary supporters that sincerely want Hillary as president, will be voting for McCain.
The best thing that could happen for the Clinton wing of the party is for Obama, the movon.org wing, to lose in 2008. Hillary might be a lot of things, but stupid is not one of them.

I don’t see this happening, looking at this from Obama’s perspective either.
If Obama did this, his message would be “I royally flubbed the biggest decision of my life, but don’t worry, as your president, I can still make the biggest decisions of yours”. Tantamount to “Dear Mr. Putin, I didn’t mean to send the Nimitz, I really meant to send a fruit basket”…
It would show McCain as not only in the driver’s seat of his campaign, but Obama’s as well.
I don’t see the fact that we don’t see Obama and Biden campaigning together as a sign of anything. As I recall Gore/Leiberman, Kerry/Edwards weren’t joined at the hip either.
Given Hillary’s relationship with McCain, can she be the attack dog against McCain that Biden would be ?
McCain’s people will make sure that they relive the bloody Dem primary over, and over, and over.
Obama has eschewed public financing. What are they going to do, use white-out over Biden’s name on all the collateral, or spend millions replacing and redistributing it this late in the game? Minor point, but still worth mentioning.
Lastly, would Obama’s ego allow him to admit to Hillary “I can’t succeed without you ?”. This also would send the wrong signal to foreign leaders as it would be seen as a sign of weakness.
But, if I am wrong I”ll be the first to admit it..

Even if Osama-bama trashed Biden for Hilly; I think that the women of America in ALL parties are seeing what a jerk Barry really is toward women and I believe they see the class that Gov. Palin represents. She also wears dresses because she has ANKLES!

It’s Obama they need to dump. Not Biden. Biden is actually kinda cool. He’s a Regular Joe. It’s Obama who is the elitist effette friend of Terrorists like William Ayers and Kenya’s Raila Odinga.
Biden at least is a real American, born and bread in the USA. Obama is a conglomerate American/Indonesian/Kenyan. His loyalties are suspect.
