The Forgotten Victims of September 12th, 2001
September 12th, 2008 by jack
By the latest tally, 2975 people died in the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.
The following day, September 12th, 2001, the death tool was even higher — an estimated 3570 people were killed in abortion clinics in the United States — unnamed and unloved, even by the ones who should have named them and loved them.
Look on him if you dare, and weep — not for him, but for us, for what we have become.

Jack, is 3,570 a average number for abortions per day in the U.S. ? I had no idea it was that high.
Lord forgive us.

yet the liberals are more interested in hugging the trees…. go figure! Just shocking how ones priorities can get so backward when you listen to the media and don’t think for yourself. That just makes me sad.

Bob I wish it were that simple, but I don’t think this is about the media or liberals vs. conservatives, I think is something deeper and more basic and more disturbing.
We have become a society that is willing to toss away whatever does not fit into or life plans.
Hay don’t want to stay in the marriage, the heck with working on it just divorce or have an affair. Don’t want to deal with life’s pressure, how about we smoke, swallow or snort something to make the pain go away. Don’t want that baby, why not just abort.
We have all become a microwave, my way or the highway society that does not believe in a power greater than ourselves.
Again, Lord forgive us.

Again and again and again …..
Please, care as much about the fetus once it’s outside the womb!

You mean unlike O’Bama, Lovisa, who blocked the bill to protect children who survived the attempt to kill them?

“We have become a society that is willing to toss away whatever does not fit into or life plans.
We have all become a microwave, my way or the highway society..”
What Not Jeff W says is true of them as well Lovisa..

No way, Dans! I don’t know whether you have a womb or not,but there’s not the “my way or the highway” when it comes to abortions.
Do not judge until you have walked in her moccasins!

Lovisa,
“Please, care as much about the fetus once it’s outside the womb!”
guess I missed the subliminal abortion message here..
September 12th, 2008 at 8:58 pm
I don’t know what “subliminal abortion message” means.
What I DO know is that a lot of anti abortion people don’t feel like taking care of unwanted babies and gripe about government having to supply care and food for said unwanted babies.

“anti abortion people don’t feel like taking care of unwanted babies”
What planet do you live on again lovisa ? Do you know how difficult it is to adopt a baby due to the fact that there are many, many more childless couples than infants ?
Fact, all of the couples that I know who have adopted multiple children are anti-abortion. Guess when you can’t have something, it makes you a little more appreciative of the gift.
Childless liberal couples don’t adopt very much, they can’t deal with the competition of another child in the house.

Nevermind that it costs, on average, $10,000 to adopt a child, and can go much higher.
September 13th, 2008 at 1:22 am
How come there so many children in foster care in Washington, DC, if so many couples want to adopt? I doubt that it would cost $10,000 to adopt a DC child. I don’t know that for sure, but I’m guessing.
I know at least four couples who have adopted children from China and Vietnam but DC - no way jose!

Dans’ last paragraph doesn’t make any sense at all.
“… can’t deal with the competition of another child in the house.” COMPETITION ??? -Try to explain that one, will you!

Lovisa, Specifically to the foster program in DC, there are huge barriers to white suburban couples adopting a minority child. From what I understand, and this is just my experience with people I know, the process is unfriendly to white couples attempting to adopt minority babies and toddler period. Sadly, as children get older, regardless of their race, the chances of adoption go down.
This is one of the reasons many people go outside the country to adopt babies and toddlers, there is no bias towards white couples that just want a baby. The system is rife with problems, the most common being extortion through out the process, but people do it anyways because they yearn to love and raise a child.
It should not go unnoticed that since Roe v. Wade the number of babies up for adoption has diminished substantially. This should make us all sad.

You really are daft, aren’t you, Lovisa? The childless leftists ARE children!
