UPDATE: May not be related, but people are starting to say keep an eye on Steve Steffens, aka LeftWingCracker, for a possible tie in to the story.

Steve Steffens

Could be a blind alley, but what the heck.

Too bad the whole AIG, Mortgage, Fannie/Freddie mess bailouts is eclipsing this story.

I love the fact that he is the son of a Tenn Dem. I seem to recall Al Gore’s son being a little snotbag too, maybe these 2 are friends.

Catch O’Reilly tonight. He said last evening that we was going to dig on this and update in tonight’s episode.

If he did brag about his actions (as reported) he’s toast. He’s looking at tanking himself and his family.

Guess Dad should have spent a little more time teaching him about fair play.

Then there is the illegal immigrant smuggler.

WASHINGTON — Florida Rep. Allen Boyd’s son was arrested in Arizona Sunday and charged with human smuggling after K-9 dogs allegedly sniffed out individuals hiding in the bed of his truck.

In a statement sent to FOXNews.com, the Democratic congressman acknowledged that his son attended a preliminary hearing on Monday and was charged with “alien smuggling.”

I seem to recall that, not long ago, certain Dem leftwingers were trying to rake Sarah Palin over the coals for choosing a political career instead of staying home to take care of her family. Given the hacker and the alien smuggler, both scions of Dem politicians, perhaps we should start applying that standard to male Dems seeking political office.

Yeah, she should stay home, like the liberals favorite super moms, Angelina Jolie, ant Britney Spears..

I looked at the photos of the two guys embedded in this blog entry and was reminded of an old SNL skit with William Shatner wherein he picks on sci-fi convention goers, exhorting them to “move out of your parents’ basements” and questions whether one had “ever even kissed a girl.” Remember that old classic? Well, if the shoe fits… ;-)

Gee, he’s this age and he’s already a felon. Oh, I am certain the dem’wits will block any attempt by the government to prosecute this kid, but true to form, only until after the November election. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Yahoo sue his parents for every cent they are worth. I also think it would be legally irresponsible for any company to hire this kid for so long as he should live.

Last March, NASA reported the oceans have been cooling for the last five years. Sea level has stopped rising, and Northern Hemisphere cyclone and hurricane activity is at a 24-year low.

Environmental extremists and global warming alarmists are in denial and running for cover. Their rationale for continuing a lost cause is that weather events in the short term are not necessarily related to long-term climatic trends. But these are the same people who screamed at us each year that ordinary weather events such as high temperatures or hurricanes were undeniable evidence of imminent doom.

Now that global warming is over, politicians are finally ready to enact dubious solutions to a non-existent problem. In Britain, Parliament is intrepidly forging ahead with a bold new plan to cool the climate, even as London experienced its first October snowfall since 1934 and Ireland went through the coldest October in the last 70 years.

This is an absurd spectacle. Our advanced civilization is being systematically mismanaged by technologically illiterate lawyers responding to political pressures from irrational fanatics. Would someone please tell these people it is impossible to overturn the laws of thermodynamics?
