Presidential Race Tightens

McCain-Palin now within 4 points (after trailing by 9 points last week).

The Obama campaign held a “20 point lead in terms of enthusiasm” when the survey was taken, but I am going out on a ledge to predict that is about to change.

“Who is the real Barack Obama?” indeed. He’s the guy who peaked on October 1 on a message spun of gossamer threads.

One Response to “Presidential Race Tightens”

  1. Ted says:

Last night on Special Report Juan Williams said the Bradley effect i.e. whites telling pollsters they’re going to vote for the black candidate when they’re not going to, could easily be as much as 5 points. If true, this would mean that any poll showing the Annointed One as having a lead less than 5 points really means McCain is ahead. I hope that is true but 5 points seems to be awfully high.

And on the local scene I spent the entire day at the Manassas Fall Jubilee on Saturday and from what I saw the number of people wearing McCain/Palin stickers in this admittedly very Republican area seemed, awfully, awfully high.

Not too many wearing BHO paraphenalia but I don’t know if that was a function of the Dem booth just not having the stuff to give out. In any event the apparent support for McCain was impressive.

    FWIW.
