The Obama Nuts

ACORN is allegedly a non-partisan group whose mission is to increase voter participation. There are several ongoing issues with ACORN. The first of which it is not non-partisan, though it is supposed to be according to its founding charter. ACORN has endorsed Obama and only conducts voter registration drives in districts that are overwhelmingly Democrat. Considering that ACORN gets 40% of its funding from the U.S. Government that means we have a publicly funded organization assisting one political party. From Townhall.com …
If you don’t know what ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is all about, you better bone up. This left-wing group takes in 40 percent of its revenues from American taxpayers — you and me — and has leveraged nearly four decades of government subsidies to fund affiliates that promote the welfare state and undermine capitalism and self-reliance, some of which have been implicated in perpetuating illegal immigration and encouraging voter fraud. A new whistleblower report from the Consumer Rights League claims that Chicago-based ACORN has commingled public tax dollars with political projects.
Obama worked for ACORN in the early 90’s, and is intimate with the organization.
Don’t bother asking Barack Obama. He cut his ideological teeth working with ACORN as a “community organizer” and legal representative. Naturally, ACORN’s political action committee has warmly endorsed his presidential candidacy. ACORN head Maude Hurd gushes that Obama is the candidate who “best understands and can affect change on the issues ACORN cares about” — like ensuring their massive pipeline to your hard-earned money. Let’s take a closer look at the ACORN Obama knows.
ACORN is under investigation in ten separate states for voter fraud.
ACORN is facing investigations in more than 10 states, including Nevada — where authorities raided the group’s Las Vegas office Tuesday following claims that workers tried to fill out voter forms using the names of several Dallas Cowboys players.
In some places ACORN has outdone itself …
Say Anything notes that Indianapolis/Marion County seems to have more people registered to vote in 2007 then its actual adult citizen population. Even though they only had 644,197 voting age-eligible individuals, there were 677,401 individuals registered to vote, or 105% of the Census population.
This is an organization that hounds or bribes people in order to get them to register multiple times, soemtimes under multiple names, including NFL football players. ACORN also engages in what it calls direct action. Considering the thuggery Obama has demonstrated in other aspects of his campaign, one can see where he learned this.
Long the director of Chicago ACORN, Talbott is a specialist in “direct action” – organizers’ term for their militant tactics of intimidation and disruption.
One of the key elements of Obama’s campaign is to attack John McCain based on his associations, he is a Republican who Obama links to Bush. One of the other key elements of the Obama campaign is to protest linking him to ANY of the bad actors in his past, like Ayers, Rezko, Wright and in this case those nuts at ACORN.
UPDATE
Now there are more people coming forward to tell their stories about ACORNS fraudulent activities.

CLEVELAND – Two Ohio voters, including Domino’s pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they’d already signed up.

I remember how President Carter used to say how Democrats like change. President Carter was successful in leading for change. The problem was, some of the most important changes were not for the good.

This is concerted effort, hugely financed with out dollars, to overtake our government. Did anyone see the article in Loudoun Times Mirror, how illegal immigrants and non citizens are voting (I think it was estimated at 54,000 in the last election Webb Vs. Allen) and changing the outcomes of our elections. Even John Kennedy campaigned on a platform of cutting capital gains and income taxes to promote job creation and growth, to get us back on track. We need to cut taxes, make the small business environment easier. A lot of folks are scared about Obama winning, and the possibility of raising capital gains–that will tank the market, even further. But if you cut capital gains, or do away with capital gains, then the market will come back…

Their was a story on the news last night, where a few college kids were doing a story on voter fraud. As part of their investigation they interviewed a “volunteer” driver who was shuttling folks for early voting.
This “volunteer” was rather unabashed about describing how she tells her captive audience “vote for Omaba, vote for Obama”.

Sad. Ballot boxes about to be stuffed before our very noses. Those who complain openly are castigated as sour grapers or out-of-control nut jobs. The tame media plays right along. A couple of untoward one-liners heard on the media mikes at a McCain/Palin rally. No one bothers to verify whether the one-liners were made by actual McCain/Palin supporters or by someone who infiltrated the rally just to stir up trouble — a covert action trick as old as civilization. The tame media dutifully begins to hint at possible right wing violence. Standard scare tactics. The blogs suddenly resound with warnings about the safety of Obama and his family and calls for the Secret Service to stay on full alert.
I take back what I said in previous posts. We HAVE become Zimbabwe.

And one more thing: “Troopergate.” How blatantly obvious. When will we ever hear references in the media to “Ayersgate” or “ACORNgate” or “Rezkogate” or even “Freddie Macgate”? Answer: never in your lifetime.
I know one thing. I’m taking an autograph book to the polling place on 4 November. Never know when the entire starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys might show up to vote, in Redskins territory no less!

In a 1995 case known as Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank, Obama and his fellow attorneys charged that Citibank was making too few loans to black applicants and won the case. As one commentator noted in May 2008, legal “successes” such as this were probably responsible for the sub-prime mortgage crisis of 2007. That is, banks were not loaning to blacks whose credit was poor. When the law forced them to lend money anyway, the inevitable collapse occurred.
