Fraud in The Obama Campaign
October 11th, 2008 by jacob
This is unreal. I guess time with ACORN trained Obama well. Why did this not wind up in the news! Why are we allowing this fraud to be perpetrated on our nation?! What is going on in Chicago that breeds this thuggery?
then there is part II
and part III, this is the most interesting one. Here some handicapped individual talks about one of Obama’s minions getting in her face.
and finally part IV, even better…
This is a huge scoop! Why is this not on the TV?
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

I must say I agree. Faud is indeed a bad guy and may even be a terrorist. I hope that Obama will sever his links with Mr. Faud immediately.

Is Patrick Fitzgerald investigating ACORN / Obama for RICO violations?
Posted on October 9th, 2008 by everyvotecounts
http://hillbuzz.wordpress.com/2008/10/09/great-merciful-zeus-tomorrow-could-be-the-start-of-fitzmas-rumor-in-chicago-is-patrick-fitzgerald-is-investigating-acorn-and-soetorobama-campaign-for-rico-violations/
Great Merciful Zeus! Tomorrow could be the start of Fitzmas: rumor in Chicago is Patrick Fitzgerald is investigating ACORN and SoetorObama campaign for RICO violations
Tonight we talked to someone who works in the federal courts here in Chicago.
The buzz in those corridors is that federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has been leading a team of FBI investigators in 10 states working on a RICO case.
Today, it was announced that ACORN is being investigated in 10 states.
That’s one Hell of a coincidence.
We asked why Fitzgerald would be involved in this, because he’s the prosecutor on the Tony Rezko case and we aren’t aware of ACORN being investigated in Illinois.
We were told that ACORN was investigated in Illinois years ago, and it was a Fitzgerald case then. This means ACORN’s activities today, involving a conspiracy to commit multi-state voter fraud on SoetorObama’s behalf, are an extension of that previous ACORN case.
Our source in federal courts said, “Any crime that involves more than two people and is carried out across state lines qualifies as a corrupt organization. The fact that those “Goodwill” donations were made in Texas and received at Obama headquarters in Chicago or Washington means it qualifies for RICO.”
The “Goodwill donations” referred to above are the $228 million in undocumented, unverified campaign contributions the SoetorObama camp has received — which the McCain campaigned filed a complaint to the FEC on this past Monday.
We’ve also heard that the Clinton campaign filed complaints to the FBI and other federal agencies over SoetorObama’s fraud in the Iowa, Texas and other caucuses: voter intimidation, registration fraud, and other illegal activities.
The last thing we were told tonight in regards to all of this was that “the meme here is a tying together of all these various threads. That’s what you will see in the last weeks of the campaign: all things being tied together”.
If everything rumored here is true, it looks like David Axelrod, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, SoetorObama himself, and possibly even Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were all involved, together, in massive RICO violations, and thus federal fraud, if the DNC and party leadership knew what the SoetorObama campaign and ACORN were up to and allowed it to proceed. Knowledge of federal crimes being committed makes all parties accessories to those crimes — and part of the conspiracy to defraud the public.

Major corruption in nearly all of the swing states…
(photograph young black man)
1 voter, 72 votes…
Voter’s at political rallies have had enough!!! Why should an organization get to commit voter fraud all up and down - every one of the swing states? And which present Presidential candidate has spent the most time helping the organization ACORN do just that? PLUS Clinton Democrats are saying that one of the candidates may now be undergoing investigation for RICO violations with ACORN

This could be the game changer
By Thomas Lifson
Someone with the unlikely name of Molotov Mitchell has produced a 10 minute and 52 second video [watch it below] that could well change the terms of the election — if enough people watch it. Illuminati Productions has posted it to YouTube. They have provided the voting public a very professionally and engagingly done video generation equivalent of a long detailed article in a place like American Thinker.
It makes accessible to the general public some of the serious questions about Obama’s citizenship status that have been vetted almost exclusively in the conservative web world. You can’t get most voters to focus on print media in order to entertain a series of hard questions on what seems like a far-fetched notion. Especially those voters who rely on the Big Media. They figure that if this were true, they would have heard about it from the old familiar faces.
But you can get people to watch 11 minutes of interesting video raising a slew of questions for Obama, in fact cornering him, on the question of his birth, citizenship, and eligibility for office as POTUS under the Constitution. Especially if people start talking about the video. It’s called viral distribution. A friend emails an Obama-supporting friend and dares him or her to watch.
A lifelong Democrat who has held political office and been a committeeman, Philip Berg, has brought suit over the real questions raised by the absence of a valid Obama birth certificate. His narrative of the various questions Obama has refused to answer is devastating. Graphics and sound are well-deployed to avoid tedium as factual data is conveyed in a way that allows viewers to absorb it. When he contrasts Obama’s behavior when challenged (use perfectly valid legal technicalities to delay) with John McCain’s full disclosure of all documentary evidence under a similar challenge (remember the flap over his birth in the Panama Canal Zone? — who raised those questions, anyway?), there is no doubt in a viewer’s mind that there is something seriously wrong here.
We are talking about the Presidency and this guy stonewalls?
The only way Obama can satisfactorily resposnd is to release his supossed Hawaiian birth certificate. If he has it, why hasn’t he released it?
If this video gets widely viewed and discussed, Obama’s support will crumble in the face of continued stonewalling.
I am grateful for the efforts of the people who put this op together. It is brilliantly timed. I do know that there are one or more smart Democrats who haven’t forgiven Obama and who don’t want to see him elected. They know how to design and implement really effective plans to get things done.
They might even want to get Obama thrown off the ballot and replaced by the second place finisher before Election Day. Or, if the Democratic Party stonewalls and the court delays, pick up the pieces.
Watch it and see what you think.

Strong evidence including paternal grandmother’s interview that Obama was born in Kenya, so not natural born, and then he was adopted by an Indonesian, which made him a citizen of Indonesia, and the US has no dual citizenship with Indonesia. Other blogs have posted pictures of his Indonesian passport. If he was adopted, and Indonesian, than the only way he could be a citizen would be through the naturalization process. The attorney who filed the suit is well respected, a Democrat, The video is devastating, because Obama has refused to release not only his birth certificate but also all school records, which presumably might show what nationality he claimed at that time.

It only gets worse the more you know. There is an unbelievable utube clip on the Ace of Spades HQ blog, with Obama speaking saying that he will “invite” ACORN to meet with him after he wins the election, before he is even inaugurated, to “shape the agenda” of his presidency.

SUIT TO CHALLENGE OBAMA’S RIGHT TO BE ON MINNESOTA BALLOT
It appears that a civil suit will be filed in Minnesota State Court as well to challenge Barack Obama’s constitutional right to be on the Minnesota State Ballot in November.
I urge everyone to file legal challenge to Obama’s right to be on your states ballot as well, and do so now. The Defendants will be Barack Obama, your states Democratic Party and the Secretary of State for you state.
Until Obama has proven he is constitutionally entitled to be on the ballot on a federal level, he should not be on any state ballots and the states must determine if he is eligible for the state ballots. “

Sally,
You’re getting desperate. Pretty soon you’ll be saying that Obama isn’t even a human being; maybe popped out of an UFO.
#10 - What is the strong evidence that Obama was born in Kenya?
#9 -Thomas Lifson:
” I am grateful for the effort of the people who put this op together. IT IS BRILLIANTLY TIMED.
How true! If Lifson knew this before, why did he wait until the second week of October to take action?
#13 -
“I urge everyone to file legal challenge to Obama’s right to be on your states ballot as well, and do so
now.”
Again, brilliant timing.
Out of the 13 posts above, you have contributed 7 (seven), and look at the length of them! Don’t tell me that you’re not on the payroll of those who’d want to oust Obama and totally disgrace this highly accomplished man.
Wonder where else you’re spreading your dung?
October 12th, 2008 at 3:42 am
On 12 October, The Thinker, Mr. Lifson’s organ, has an article written by Edward Bernard Glick titled:
“Israel doesn’t have much time to attack Iran”
“… does Israel realize that if Democratic Sen. Barack Obama wins the American presidency next month, it may never have the chance to take out its mortal foe.”
Any thoughts about THAT ONE. Sally????? Rather scary, isn’t it, that there actually are supposedly intelligent people, who would not hesitate - nay, want - to bring on a war with Iran? America would be involved. We will always support Israel. We’re already at war on two fronts and our military is tired and worn out. How patriotic - to Israel that is - to want to “take out” Iran.
Mr. Glick is a dangerous person, IMO, and should be investigated for making such statements as he does in his article.

Lovisa, I am posting information, not creating it myself–you obviously did not look at the videos or read the links (which also have videos.) Too bad you are so closed minded. Closed mindedness like yours could destroy our Country. I am not the one posting at 3:42 in the morning, and no, lots of folks know me, here, just a regular citizen, not paid to do this…You need to think. You will change your mind, if you love truth and freedom, and really cherish the right to vote and out other rights.
The truth hurts Obama. He is a very dangerous far left socialist and the fraudulent methods being employed to get elected needs to be exposed, as well as Bill Ayers ties to ACORN, Just read what I have posted, and the links—and there is no way you will vote for Obama.

Citizens for the Truth about Obama
Citizens of the U.S. often feel powerless over their lives.
The 2008 election has fostered a new type of feeling of frustration
and powerlessness. Barack Obama has risen from obscurity to
be the frontrunner of the Democrat Party. Little was known
about Senator Obama before he entered the race in 2007. Sadly,
most people do not know the real Obama for a variety of reasons.
The Democrat Party did not investigate his past or chose to
ignore it.
The main stream media has given Obama a free ride and for the
most part swooned over him.
The Obama Campaign, in a long term, well orchestrated effort,
has engaged in a crusade to distort and remove information.
In addition, diversions have consistently been used by Obama
and his campaign to divert attention away from the serious
aspects of Obama.
Despite attempts to distort and remove information from the
internet and attacks on anyone questioning Obama’s past, the
internet has remained one of the few places to present the
truth about Obama, and to a wide audience. Much has been
discovered about Obama and his past, and the severity of
this information is alarming to concerned citizens. What is
more alarming is that many Americans are not aware of it.
There are two broad categories of facts about Obama. The first
includes Obama’s long time associations with anti semites,
anti Americans, social deviants, etc. The second category is
what we have chosen for this petition. Long time associations
and business dealings with crime and corruption as well
as violating the law. These facts are more suitable to launch
a congressional investigation and are well documented. In fact,
much of the documentation comes from the aftermath of the
Tony Rezko trial and subsequesnt indictments. Barack Obama
is closely tied to Tony Rezko and crime and corruption in
Chicago and Illinois. Obama was mentioned numerous times
during the Rezko trial and some of the data gathered during
the investigation was withheld. Dr. Robert Weinstein, with
ties to Obama, was just indicted. Patrick Fitzgerald, the
federal prosecutor, may indict Obama next.
This petition is a grass roots effort springing from the
concern of millions of Americans. Many of us have asked
questions. Where is the MSM? Where is the judicial branch?
We have a right to petition our government. This is a way
to get their attention. We encourage you to sign our
petition, but also to copy it or type your own, sign it
and send it to your senator, representative. This is still the
most powerful way to get their attention.
We also encourage you to learn more about the real Barack
Obama. Do the research the MSM has failed to do. Ask
questions. Dig past the attempts of the Obama Campaign
to rewrite history.
Thanks and God bless America.

A PETITION
for
The Impeachment of Senator Barack Obama
TO THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama is an admitted Illegal drug user and is believed to have used illegal drugs as recently as November 1999 or more recently. Mr. Obama has maintained contact with other admitted illegal drug users.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has maintained regular contact with known criminals such as Antoin (Tony) Rezko and other criminal elements in Chicago and Illinois. Mr. Obama has conducted business with these criminals and received campaign
donations from them. Mr. Obama was compelled to return an estimated $250,000 in donations related to Tony Rezko.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has consistently lied about his contact with convicted criminal Tony Rezko. The Tony Rezko corruption trial revealed that FBI mole John Thomas helped investigators “build a record of repeat visits to the old offices of Rezko and former business partner Daniel Mahru’s Rezmar Corp., at 853 N. Elston, by Blagojevich and Obama during 2004 and 2005″ according to the February 10, 2008 Chicago Sun-Times.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has engaged in unscrupulous business practices, in particular with Mr. Robert Blackwell. Mr. Obama received an
$ 8,000 per month “legal retainer” from Mr. Blackwell for a total of $112,000 and reported the income through his law firm in a manner not unlike money laundering. Mr. Obama, along with Obama campaign manager Dan Shomon, procured $ 320,000 in state grants for Blackwell’s company Killerspin. Blackwell companies contributed over $ 32,000 to the Obama campaign in 2007.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama used the office of IL Senator to facilitate the vote rigging in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois Senate Health and Human Services Committee. Mr. Obama pushed legislation in Senate Bill 1332 to reduce the number of members of the Health Facilities Planning Board from 15 to 9. Mr. Obama did conspire with Stuart Levine, Tony Rezko and Rod
Blogojevich to rig the committee and was rewarded with campaign contributions. The new members appointed included 3 doctors who contributed to Mr. Obama. On April 21, 2004, Stuart Levine explicitly advised Dr. Robert Weinstein, who is now indicted, of Tony Rezko’s role in manipulating the Planning Board’s vote.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has engaged in lies and deception about his past. Mr. Obama lied about his contact level with convicted criminal Tony Rezko, the amounts and sources of campaign contributions and encounters with the law. A complaint has been filed with the Bar Association of Illinois alleging that Mr. Obama did not answer truthfully all questions on the application to the bar.
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has invoked the FOIA in Illinois when it was politically expedient and ignored or violated the FOIA at other times. In the Illinois Senate proceedings regarding Senate Bill 1416, Mr. Obama pleads the importance of
businesses bidding on state contracts having improved access to FOIA data. When later questioned about his records during his term in the IL Senate, Mr. Obama gave evasive answers or refused to supply records.
Whereas: The First Amendment provides a right for the people “to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” Precedents exist for impeachment and expulsion of a US Senator. Senator William Blount was impeached by the House on July 7, 1797 and expelled by the Senate the next day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the people, Undersigned, being citizens of the United States and residents in the Cities and States so
indicated, HEREBY Demand that the Congress of the United States begin immediate impeachment and/or expulsion proceedings against Senator Barack Obama.
Addendum: Petition to Impeach Senator Obama
August 4, 2008
Whereas as a US Senator, Barack Obama violated the stated intention of his 2006 Official Government Visa to Africa by publicly propagandizing for his cousin, Railla Odinga against the US democratic ally of Kenya.
Whereas the stated mission of Senator Obamas Official Visa, according to the Kenya Office of Public Communications, was to nurture relations
between the Continent and the United States he, instead, made public protest before Kenya citizens to rally against their leadership,
invoking a need for Change! and accusing this US allied nation of corruption. In Official Protest of Mr. Obamas passport abuse and
misconduct, Kenyas government cited his extremely disturbing statements on issues which it is clear, he was very poorly informed, and on which he chose to lecture the Government and the people of Kenya on how to manage our country. Whereas, furthermore, there is no public record of any sanctions or reprimand by the US Congress of Senator Obamas passport violation or campaigning on foreign soil against a US ally, history has since recorded the broadspread destruction of Kenyas economy and large scale loss of life as a result of the violence instigated by Odingas ODM campaign there.

WOW, SALLY!
I’m impressed. Do you have any more “information” to give us? Minnesota and Kenya! Where else in the world might Obama have been outside the law? Bring it on, let’s have the whole enchilada. I’m sure you can find SOMEthing.
As for 3:42 in the morning, it’s due to a slight case of jet lag (it was 9:42 am where I have been) - FYI since you commented on it.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:11 am
Oh, yes, my video doesn’t work right now.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:14 am
Sally,
You forgot to mention that Obama might have murdered Donald Young. Somebody named Larry Sinclair says so.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:24 am
Instead of calling me names, and trying to be “cute” with your silly non responses, why don’t you and your democratic friends force Obama to comply with Phillip Berg’s request for documents, give us a real copy of his birth certificate (not two different copies which are not even identical), travel documents, school records. Tell Obama that his assertion of the right to “privacy” (to keep the American public in the dark about him) is immaterial to the public’s right to know if he is even constitutionally eligible to be President. Americans need to know. If you even looked at the videos, you have long time Democrats (many African Americans, calling out to their faith in Martin Luther King’s ideals) expressing shock at how our system has been rigged, how it has failed, and how they did not expect this in our country, but in some third world country without our system of checks and balances, and based on law. Read what I have posted and you will change your mind about Obama.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:41 am
I haven’t called you any name whatever, because I simply can’t come up with one that’s apt.
Have a nice Sunday. The weather is gorgeous. Go for a walk; clear out all evil thoughts of your mind and heart and enjoy the day. Carpe diem, as we say in Culpeper.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:20 am
9/11 was a gorgeous perfect day, too–I was supposed to play tennis at 9:30 that morning… instead, I cancelled, I mourned, I called friends in New York, and prayed that my husband would be safe, and that the schools (locked down) would take care of my children, since I could not…. I love this Country, and I don’t want to give it away to a thug like Obama, who, with his “friends” like Acorn and Bill Ayers have brought our financial system to its knees, and rigged our election with criminal “organizers,” accepted more than $200.000 million dollars in phony low dollar contributions, and who now want to raise the capital gains tax on all our 401K’s, tax the people who create jobs, give money (tax cut? or should we just call it what it is “welfare checks”) to people who don’t even pay taxes, “free” health care (businesses are fined if they don’t provide it) “free” college educations (but you have to serve in an Obama (”public service?” or brainwashing) camp to “pay” for it…and illegal non citizens get to live here, take all the benefits and vote (more money and benefits for themselves.) Who would not want to live here when everything is free? Who will want to work? And those who do want to work, do want to innovate, do want freedom to question their doctors, freedom to make those choices are punished. We already have the highest corporate taxes in the world…that is why companies like Dell Computer are located in Ireland. Tax them some more, and all our jobs will leave. Lovisa, wake up! Get to work for the good of this world.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:42 am
How awful that 9/11 ruined your tennis game.
October 12th, 2008 at 10:20 am
Zizmo,
I remember what a beautiful day 9/11 was because I had planned to be outside. Sorry if that offends you. Just responding to Lovisa’s comments to be a sheep, ignore all the issues about Obama, go outside and enjoy the beautiful day. Today is Sunday, I am going to church. We had two friends on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon. My husband had employees, young interns, who made it out of the Twin Towers, but went back inside to help some older folks, who died. Don’t give me any more of your lip about 9/11. I can tell you this, John McCain would NEVER have sat down with an “old” terrorist to launch his political career, never accept money from any old terrorist (only 15 years earlier they blew up buildings.) John McCain has had his civil rights deprived, and he respects our rights. Obama is just an opportunist and a dishonest left wing radical thug–look how Obama “misidentified” his $800,000 donation from his campaign, and was finally forced to admit this mistake…. Wake up America.
October 12th, 2008 at 11:02 am
I think it is truly disgusting the way some conservatives try to exploit 9/11 for their own partisan agenda. It dishonors the memory of everyone who died on that day. You should be ashamed of yourself if you have any sense of shame.
A conservative blogger at Michelle Malkin’s site has just posted this piece blasting your idiotic claims, saying, “Let’s stop chasing absurd conspiracy theories that make it more difficult to win the real arguments in this election.” I doubt you’ll listen to him, which is why your side is going down in defeat.

October 12th, 2008 at 11:50 am
Zizmo,
The link is more interesting than your drama. I am interested in debate, not name calling, as you seem to be more interested in…Note that there is a question about what Obama has provided… that the certificate of live birth did not have a seal, and does not show where the live birth was… and if the case were so frivolous, then why has it been on going, and not dismissed, and why won’t Obama produce school records to show what nationality he claimed before, and why won’t her produce other passport information? Why won’t he just give up the documents that prove he is eligible, instead of fighting this on “privacy” grounds. I am not saying Mr. Berg is right, just that he raises very compelling questions, that the main stream media ignores. We need to have answers to these questions, not just sneering dismissals.
October 12th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
Be careful Zimzo- this lady is ape shit crazy. She posted obsessively on other local well known blogs, then threatened to sue the blogs. She harassed and sued her next door neighbors so much they put their place on the market.
Nothing scarier than a person with lots of free time, an axe to grind and a law degree.
October 12th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
thanks for the warning AFF. I don’t have anything to fear from her but maybe Joe should be wary.
It’s getting increasingly difficult to “separate the Right from the kooks” as Cristopher Buckley put it in his article endorsing Obama, quoting his father William Buckley.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-10-10/the-conservative-case-for-obama
October 12th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
AFF, or are you George? what a “provocatively cretinous remark!” sounds like the kooks Mr. Buckley describes… you mean the neighbor that got the County to inspect my property and threaten me with enforcement actions over a 40 year old chicken coop that is less than 5 feet tall, and no more than 5′x8′? The coop the County said was not “agricultural”?… even though there were chickens, roosters, chicks and eggs in it…the coop that was 500 feet from any property line? but the former zoning administrator, who played politics instead of fairly enforcing the ordinance is fortunately gone. That neighbor settled with me, after suing me, with an agreement not to disparage me? and to respect my privacy, not to make disturbances or create nuisances? For your information, not that it is relevent here, none of my neighbors have their properties for sale… there ya’ go, AFF, makin’ things up again! Maybe we should call you Joe Biden….(just kidding, I know you know that FDR was not president in 1929!)
October 12th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
AFF sounds more like someone who thinks he’s ten feet tall. Whoever he is, he appears to be another one who resorts to personal attacks when he can’t or won’t discuss content.
If you’re as crazy as ape excrement, then everyone can talk about that instead of the questions you raise.
I’d rather hear some answers to your questions.

Well, we can’t all have lovely people who shout KILL HIM, TERRORIST, and OFF WITH HIS HEAD like your rallies. Which crowd would the Secret Service be more disturbed by? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

seriously cmac, IMHO you’re spending too much time on the youtube! “Listen to the hate in the crowd, are you proud of your fellow Obama supporters?”
so, are you proud of your fellow McPalin supporters?
you guys are really starting to get weird.
October 13th, 2008 at 6:34 am
Some reports of the comments Kill Him etc, say that those were Obama plants. I went to a McCain rally and was yelled at and jeered at, and there were plenty of Obama people there holding signs, yelling angry things, and insults, and trying to disrupt. I don’t think McCain people do that at Obama rallies..
I for one feel very betrayed by the Democratic process and by our main stream “free” press, who has rigged this for Obama, refusing to investigate anything about him, tell us even basic news about him…. one of the Black Democrats in the UTube series refers to Martin Luther King, and she says, he did not fight for this kind of election, he fought for civil rights, the rule of law. Martin Luther King, by the way, was a Republican. The black fellow who stood up in Wisconsin and begged McCain to take the many issues his supporters are concerned about was on CNN last night, and he has received hate mail, and multiple death threats, from people calling him a traitor to the black people. And we are racist? just because we have certain ideals, and want certain questions answered…
Call us names all you want, this is what America is, a place where we can ask these questions and not be told to shut up.
October 13th, 2008 at 8:35 am
SPMM and RD - Does the press EVER cover any of the ugliness aimed at Republicans? In particular Sarah Palin? Do you know several local McCain offices have been threatened with signs destroyed and people urinating in the door steps? I just saw a news clip with someone in a crowd with a sign that read “Palin is a C**T.” Nice stuff.
No one is condoning ugliness, it is a matter of equal coverage.
RD, You will cling to the KILLER and TERRORIST mantras that the MSM has been bandying about, like a conservative clings to his guns and religion. Honestly - a couple assholes at McCain rally will keep you and the MSM in business till the end to the election.
Maybe you should both move to NY where you can feel comfortable in your ignorance. One of the ladies in the video I posted was yelling “NAZI Germany” at the McCain marchers - how right she was, only she was one using suppression tactic. Eliminate opposing voices, shout them down - sounds like your mantra.

“those were Obama plants.” …or were they ALIENS sent by ZOLTAR the OVERLORD to disrupt our democratic process in preparation for the invasion of earth!?
“Palin is a c-word” in McCaindyland it’s a term of endearment:
“In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.”
and what about this:
“No less disconcerting was a still-unexplained passage of Palin’s convention speech: Her use of an unattributed quote praising small-town America (as opposed to, say, Chicago and its community organizers) from Westbrook Pegler, the mid-century Hearst columnist famous for his anti-Semitism, racism and violent rhetorical excess. After an assassin tried to kill F.D.R. at a Florida rally and murdered Chicago’s mayor instead in 1933, Pegler wrote that it was “regrettable that Giuseppe Zangara shot the wrong man.” In the ’60s, Pegler had a wish for Bobby Kennedy: “Some white patriot of the Southern tier will spatter his spoonful of brains in public premises before the snow falls.””

I’m shocked SHOCKED that anyone would get the impression that there’s an extremist, racist undercurrent in the McPalin camp?
it’s not that there were “a couple assholes” it’s that the McPalin rhetoric has fomented this kind of mod mentality, and when it’s happened, they’ve done little to quell it. McCain responded to “He’s an Arab” by saying “No, he’s a descent person.” Ha! He tried to correct the women by making an underhanded jab at all Arabs! They’re whipping up the mod, but they wont be able to control them, and the effect it’s having is that people on both sides are getting more and more angry.
McPalin is driving itself into the ground, and threatening to take the country with it. The press is reporting it because it’s newsworthy. I think Tina Fey made the point brilliantly when she quoted Palin’s actual response to a question: you couldn’t make their campaign look more incoherent if you tried!
Why is the conservative right acting like a crazed beast in it’s death throes? THAT’s what’s scary. There are still emails going around about Obama being a secret Muslim who wants to destroy Israel or something. I got one about a week and a half ago… What’s obvious is that this struggle to cling to power is transforming the right, which seems to be having an increasingly hard time separating fantasy from reality.

Marshmellow man, that was the most rambling foaming at the mouth I have read in a while. What quote from Sarah Palin are you talking about? And John McCain, saying that Obama is a decent man, and that is somehow a slight? There were definitely “plants” at the rally I attended, and Obamaniacs threatening us and yelling at us as we walked in. You are far out there, my friend, calling anyone a crazed beast.

I don’t think SPMM took his meds today.
SPMM, Dial 911 if you need help, I trust no one but a trained professional in this case.
PDS: Palin Derangement Syndrome.
October 13th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
oh god. this “didn’t take your meds” thing is so hackneyed, not to mention absurdly misdirected considering what kind of madness is getting posted here these days.
-it’s a quote from her convention speech.
-it’s a slight to Arab Americans for him to say, “He’s not an Arab, he’s a descent man” I don’t think it was intentional, but there it is
-How do you know they were plants? Because they were black?

October 13th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
The plants I am talking about–who were at the rally I went to –were Obama people who were disruptive and disrespectful, loud, rude and verbally abusive to McCain supporters.
Where was the quote?
October 13th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
“A writer observed: “We grow good people in our small towns, with honesty, sincerity, and dignity.”"
google the quote
October 13th, 2008 at 5:19 pm
also, if someone were posing as a mccain supporter and yelling “kill him” that would be a plant. If anti-McCain people being loud and obnoxious to McCain people, that’s not really a plant

SPMM, Apparently the “Palin is a C**t” t-shirts are now available, care to comment?
http://worldofwonder.net/archives/2008/Oct/10/cuntees.wow
I hope you aren’t among the idiots in this picture.
October 13th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
free market/free speech?
what do you want? I’m no buying one. “Palin is a cunt” is, I’m guessing, an attempt to mock McCain for when he famously called his wife that. I think it’s inappropriate (for the t-shirt site AND McCain). I also recognize that it isn’t threatening violence. If they were selling shirts that said “Off with McCain’s head” that would be a lot more serious, wouldn’t you say?
October 13th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
The McCain and his wife this is plain gutter talk, as bad as some of the stuff you claim is so dangerous to Obama.
The “off with his head” thing is going to be your battlecry for the next 3 weeks, isn’t it? You sound more and more like RD every day, he likes to stick to the leftwing website talking points as well.
I think it is strange that since the beginning of politics there has been nastiness, but the McCain rallies are the bottom of the pit for you. All this fuss you put up and you just can’t help yourself with the McCain story about his wife (for the 2nd or 3rd time), truly it is pot and kettle time.
PS, I think the “plant” scenario is more like Obama people coming to McCain rallies pretending they are McCain supporters, hurling insults, etc. I don’t have any proof, but nothing would surprise me. I am sure you will find a way to dispute this and inject the McCain and his wife story for the 4th time.
October 13th, 2008 at 9:29 pm
spmm,
The problem with liberals saying “Palin is a ____” is that they are the ones that are supposed to be so tolerant. They are the ones that are supposed to be understanding. They are the ones that are supposed to be without bigotry. Problem is that they are the ones that are the biggest hypocrites.
It’s like liberals not recognizing that Palin doesn’t approve of her daughter being pregnant out of wedlock, but fully supports her carrying her grandchild to term. Liberals just don’t get that conservatives don’t do things just out of pragmatism, but out of doing what is right with the situation in front of you at the time. The daughter did something wrong. That is a fact, what is the appropriate response? EXACTLY what Palin is doing.
October 13th, 2008 at 9:47 pm
suburbanite ….when it comes to the bottom feeders like you, I am indeed 10 feet tall.
If you want to revisit the election results of 2007, I’d be happy to point out the results.
Although I concur with the opinion on that particular subject, that’s where AFF and I part company. I’m firmly entrenched in the McCain Camp, as every “sane” person I’ve met is….
October 14th, 2008 at 12:46 am
“The McCain and his wife this is plain gutter talk,”
yeah, except that it actually happened. McCain admitted as much and said he only said it because “it had been a long day” Don’t get all upset about what some silly website says about Palin while giving McCain a pass for saying the same thing about his wife, and then act like I’m being a hypocrite! That’s all I’m saying.
“The “off with his head” thing is going to be your battlecry for the next 3 weeks, isn’t it?”
“since the beginning of politics there has been nastiness,”
exactly, since the beginning of politics, which includes a fair amount of violence perpetrated by angry mobs. IT ISN’T POLITICS AS USUAL TO HAVE MOBS OF PEOPLE YELLING THESE THINGS AT RALLIES!
How do you respond to that behavior? You don’t want to hear about it anymore? Do you just want to ignore it? Pretend it isn’t happening? Convince yourself that that evil closet muslim must have planted someone on the crowd as part of his diabolical scheme??
“I don’t have any proof”
uh huh.
Brian: “Liberals…are supposed to be so tolerant” yeah, and republicans are supposed to be fiscal conservatives, right?
try to keep in mind that some dumb t shirt being sold on some random website does not represent the opinion of ‘all liberals’ ok? and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if someone were to shout that at an Obama rally he’d call them out about it

I look forward to your “proof”, Puft.

Disturbing reports about almost $250 million dollars in small dollar contributions to Obama, that cannot be identified. RNC is suing. Also allegations that former finance director was set up in the Carribean a year ago, and may be responsible for masking these contributions to Obama, and other off shore contributions, including to ACORN. Sounds like money laundering.
October 14th, 2008 at 9:55 am
cmac,
Regarding the comment to Cindy, “The Real McCain” by Cliff Schecter alleges this transpired, based upon the accounts of three anonymous AZ reporters.
Whether or not this is proof is certainly open to further debate. Even if true, this is redirection away from the topic of the airheads with the anti-Palin t-shirts.
October 14th, 2008 at 9:59 am
I’m sure SPMM would accept proof of something on Obama from the Jerome Corsi Book, right?
3 anonymous reporters sounds a bit much, why not 5 - they are anonymous after all.
October 14th, 2008 at 10:27 am
are you kidding me Cmac?????? photoshopped? Jesus. You believe any damnfool thing you read on any blog, or see on any youtube video that’s anti-Obama, but if anything ever seems to call McCain or his supporters into question, it’s either photoshopped, or made up, or it’s the damn msm and their lies, or it was done by “plants” from the Obama campaign.
and then you ask for proof??? Honey, if Jesus came down from heaven, put his hands on your shoulders, looked you in the eyes, and said, “Yes it’s true, John McCain called his wife a c**t.” The next thing you’d do it log onto this blog and post a comment about how mad Obama scientists have begun testing a new hypno-holographic Jesus beam, just like the one described on this blog:
www.ravinglunatic.com/andparanoidtoo.html
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
you can go to google news and search for “mccain calls his wife a cunt” you’ll get about 10,000 sources that are a lot more credible than anything you’ve cited recently.
dans,
“this is redirection away from the topic of the airheads with the anti-Palin t-shirts.”
using cmac’s logic, the explanation for those shirts is simple: McCain people created that site, and those shirts, and then planted people who were wearing them at their own rally to create a sense of outrage. Isn’t it obvious?
October 14th, 2008 at 10:54 am
SPaMM,
it appears your linki don;t work. Is anyone else having trouble getting on that site:

I have to consider that cmac’s photoshop assertion could be accurate.
When the metadata is stripped from an image file, it is usually done for a reason. This is analogous to wiping off one’s fingerprints..
October 14th, 2008 at 11:19 am
SPMM, Number one, don’t call me Honey. Number two, you make an accusation and ask someone else to prove it? That’s not the way it works. Number 3, I haven’t made any wild assertions about Obama. I have linked quite a few video’s and commentary and agreed with the writers - it is called expressing an opinion.
You have lost it SPMM. Prove your assertions and stop blathering on. Yes, the picture you posted looks photo-shopped and apparently I am not the only one that thinks so. And if you want to prove to me that it is real, go google it.

Obama Crowds Call For The Lynching Of Palin
October 10, 2008
Dayton, OH—In what could only called as hypocritical behavior by the mainstream media, crowds at the latest Obama rally have called for a lynching of Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain’s Vice Presidential running mate.
The event occurred in Dayton during a stump speech by Sen. Barack Obama, D-IL. Obama blasted the McCain mortgage rescue plan as ‘idiotic.’ He claimed that banks wouldn’t take a loss, but taxpayers would take a loss, and that this was just another shifting position for McCain.
“This is the kind of erratic behavior we’ve been seeing out of Sen. McCain,” added Obama. I don’t think we can afford the kind of leadership that Senator McCain is offering. He is willing to screw you and grease the pockets of the white fat cats on Wall Street.”
Obama also urged voters of Dayton to see McCain’s character attacks on him in the context of McCain being a candidate who’s worried that he’s going to lose, and is merely using these desperate attacks to save his failing campaign.
“If one thing is clear,” urged Obama. “Senator McCain must be scared he’ll lose, because all he can do is personally attack me. All I can tell you is if you want to remain in your home, vote for me, and if you want an eviction notice, vote for Senator McCain.”
John and Julie Rondogovich, who were forced to move into John’s mother’s house because of McCain’s failure to act in time, appeared mesmerized as they cheered on Obama.
“Off with McCain’s head,” yelled John Rondogovich. “Off with his HEAD!”
“And if you think that vicious pit bull he has as a running mate, I mean Governor Palin, is looking out for your interest,” continued Obama, “then you’re sorely mistaken. The only thing she’s interested in is taking us back to the days of lynchings and segregation.”
“Lynch her,” yelled Thomas Zeller, a 37-year old black real estate agent from Dayton, OH. “I’ve seen up close what John McCain has done to people!”
“Lynch the cracker,” exclaimed Jerry Spitzer, a 42-year old black unemployed factory worker evicted from his home in Dayton.
“We’re not gonna let those two racists occupy the White House,” screamed Michelle Obama. “We’re not gonna go back to the days of blacks drinking from colored water fountains. Are we?”
“Hell no,” the fevered crowd spewed. “Lynch her!”
With the election drawing near, and the liberal crowds seething with rage, it is only a matter of time before riots break out in the streets, cars are burnt, buildings are bombed and businesses are looted in the name of Senator Barack Obama.
October 14th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Jacob, you can’t access the site because I made it up to parody the kind of BS sources cmac’s been digging up. see it says “raving lunatic and paranoid too” it’s a joke.
cmac, since you come up with some asinine excuse to ignore everything that doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, there’s really no point in my bothering trying to “prove” anything to you. All I’m saying is you can read all about it for yourself if you want to. Here are 241,000 links for you to discredit:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mccain+called+his+wife+a+c&start=10&sa=N
have fun.
dans, cmac,
you guys are living in a fantasy land. you know that, right? the guy’s a photographer who’s been documenting the race. He’s selling prints, which is probably why you can’t download the picture or see the metadata.
http://www.brettmarty.com/
Why, when confronted with a set of possibilities, do you guys consistently assume the one that’s the most bat shit crazy?
October 14th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
Looked at the first three pages that came up — there’s nothing there, puffalump. So, if you have any credible evidence that McCain used such terminology, put up or shut up.
October 14th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Let me see SP, what you are saying is that because he is a photographer he doesn’t use Photoshop is that right ?
You are also saying that I can’t download the pic, even though it is right there on the web site, is that right ? Gee, what does right click do anyway..
I can’t see the metadata because it’s gone.. These guys are self acclaimed Obama supporters, and they would never doctor an image right ?
“Here are 241,000 links for you to discredit:”
What further proof do we need to the axiom “if you repeat a lie often enough”.. Doesn’t matter how many links SP, the source is the book, and the three sources the book references were anonymous. Not credible.
Lay off the kool-aid dude.. it’s already taken a toll on your synapses ability to fire. You really are a buckeye aren’t you ?
October 14th, 2008 at 1:45 pm
SPMM, I don’t make accusations and expect the other side to confirm them. You can’t even have a logical discussion, so much like the MSM you shout and carry on and try to cover up the issues with complete BS.
October 14th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
cmac, remember what “the one” told them :
“I want you to argue with them and get in their face,”.
Guess he forgot to tell them that we can get right back in theirs huh ?
October 14th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
SPaMM,
Did not read the link, just saw ‘link’. You got me. You will pay.
October 14th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
haha!
cmac,
where in this discussion have I been illogical? You refute anything you don’t want to hear with some nonsense (photoshopped indeed) I’m not asking you to confirm anything. You asked for sources, I literally gave you thousands. If you choose not to believe any of it, fine. You can get back to youtubing “obama is a terrorist” since apparently that’s the only kind of news you’re accepting these days.
Jack,
“credible evidence” What’s the point. There’s no recording, and if there were you’d say it was fake anyway. so again if you refuse to believe it, so be it. The bottom line is that that it’s certainly no less substantiated than most of the dumb blogs and youtube videos that cmac seems to be taking as gospel, and that incident is what I’m assuming those (most insignificant of) shirts are referring to.
hey, what’s that over there?! oh yeah, it’s the war in Iraq! …we have to climb mountains beyond mountains, and here we are talking about a molehill.
October 14th, 2008 at 7:10 pm
#68-Sally, that is a FANTASTIC piece of creative writing. Hilarious at times. . .actually hilarious mostly.
2 meows for you!
October 14th, 2008 at 7:32 pm
SPMM, Please point out to where I posted a youtube that Obama was a terrorist. You can’t, because it didn’t happen. He happens to hang out with domestic terrorists and I’m sorry you got confused. I don’t think you know much about my posts as you keep claiming that I am making outrageous stmts about Obama. Point them out please.
Next time someone gives me a google search as proof of a lie (with 10,000 hits) I will say the same thing, it doesn’t fly. If you think McCain called his wife a bad name, show me the specific evidence - it is your accusation.

Northland Couple Warns of Political Credit Card Fraud
Last Edited: Tuesday, 07 Oct 2008, 10:23 PM CDT

SideBar
NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO. — A North Kansas City couple has been left scratching their heads after they became the victims of a political scam.
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month — a $2300 donation to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The Larman’s say they don’t want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say they’re not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
“(They) said that they had seen-they were familiar with this,” said Steve Larman. “It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations.”
The Larman’s don’t want their politics to enter into what is essentially just a fraudulent charge. But they say that the charge involves the Obama campaign adds insult to injury for the registered Republicans.
“They (Chase) kept on asking me ‘are you sure you wouldnt have gone to a site in support of Obama’,” said Rachel Larman. “And I repeatedly said ‘Im voting for McCain - I would not be going to an Obama site’.”
Chase dropped the charge from the Larman’s card. The couple is thankful thay they caught the charge on the card, but worried that others may not see that type of fraud on their own credit cards before it’s too late.
“You always get emails saying be on the lookout,” said Rachel. “So I just wanted to get the word out, that there’s someone out there perpetrating this against people, and to pay attention.”
The Obama campaign said they were aware of the Larman’s story, but did not have any comment.

here is more truth for the hypocrites. Wonder what they would say if Larry Flynt was producing a gay/bi sex movie with Michelle and Barry starring with his “father figure” from his first book, who was just indicted for molesting a child, or maybe the gay guy that keeps claiming he had homosexual sex in the back of a limo in 1999 with Obama (and did cocaine with him) or maybe the gay guy in Chicago who died, who people claim was Obama’s lover…. No, but it is fine for Larry Flynt to make up porno stuff about Sarah Palin, and for liberal bloggers to LOVE making jokes about her..
New York Daily News October 8, 2008
Sarah Palin, left, inspired a porn flick to be produced by Larry Flynt, right.
She’s a Hustler, baby.
After the Daily News reported last week that Larry Flynt is producing a porno starring a faux Sarah Palin, TMZ has new details about the satirical skin flick.
Hustler Video’s X-rated flick, “Nailin’ Paylin,” features adult actress Lisa Ann in the Alaskan governor’s signature specs and up-do, who “will be nailing the Russians who come knocking on her back-door.”
In a flashback sequence, “young Paylin’s creationist college professor will explain a ‘big bang’ theory even she can’t deny!”
Radar Online also posted an excerpt of the script, which includes a late-night visit from the tanning bed repairman.
Alas, there is also a three-way with Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice look-alikes.
Adult film actress Nina Hartley, 49, has been cast as Clinton.
Flynt, an iconoclast and freedom of speech advocate, is a staunch liberal who accused the Bush administration of violating the U.S. Bill of Rights in his 2005 tome “Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth.”
He was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the 1996 film “The People vs. Larry Flynt.”
The Palin porno’s script excerpt has “Paylin” spouting topical, tongue-and-cheek lines such as, “Are you asking me if I know what a morning-after pill is” Because I totally do! I’ll get back to ya with the specifics,” riffing off of her shaky interview Katie Couric.
Rumors of the adult movie surfaced after an ad calling for look-alikes of the Republican vice presidential nominee hit Craigslist following her speech at the Republican National Convention.
“Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days,” read the ad, offering $3,000 for the part.
The video is being fast-tracked for release before the election.

Taxpayer money helps fund voter fraud.

Reports of voter-registration fraud are tiresomely commonplace. From the 6,000 ineligible felons listed on Colorado’s voter rolls, to the cocaine offered in exchange for registrations from Mary Poppins and Dick Tracy in Ohio, this year’s swing states have already seen unprecedentedly corrupt get-out-the-vote efforts.
This is especially true in Florida, where the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is the subject of a state investigation for potentially criminal voter-registration activity.
THE MONEY TREE
Although ACORN’s projects run a wide gamut, the group claims as its purpose helping low- and middle-income Americans — through initiatives ranging from improving urban public schools, to providing counseling on how to avoid “predatory lending,” to increasing the availability of “affordable housing.” Most of these programs are conducted locally, by state-level ACORN organizations — which are often set up as 501(c)3 nonprofit entities distinct from the national ACORN umbrella, a 501(c)4 lobbying organization. Sounds benign enough — except that, according to Bob Huberty, executive vice president of the Capital Research Center, these tax-exempt 501(c)3s “have no reason for existence other than to get grants from the government and foundations.” They are, essentially, an ACORN front for asking Uncle Sam to subsidize political activity.
Ask ACORN does — and it definitely receives. Take, for example, the most recent tax information from one of ACORN’s subsidiary nonprofits: the ACORN Housing Corporation, Inc., based out of the organization’s national headquarters in New Orleans. For the tax year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, ACORN Housing Corp.’s 990 Form shows a total of $1,710,203 received in government grants (the year before, the total was $1,977,306).
The nominal purpose of those millions is to “provide low rent housing & loan counseling services to low income individuals.” But if the government is funding the actual, legitimate work of ACORN at the local 501(c)3 level, it means that the national lobbying organization can dedicate more of its unrestricted resources to electioneering. Furthermore, explains Craig Garthwaite, director of research at the Employment Policies Institute, “The funding is not only fungible in that if they receive money for X, they can spend more on Y.” He cites one particular example of money-rerouting malfeasance: the crooked dealings surrounding an AmeriCorps grant in 1996. According to an EPI study, when the ACORN Housing Corp. applied for the grant, they denied any connections to the main ACORN lobbying group (the grant is not for political advocacy). But the AmeriCorps inspector general discovered that “not only was AHC created by ACORN, engaged in numerous transactions with one another, and sharing staff and office space — but it utilized the AmeriCorps grant to increase ACORN membership, a violation of federal guidelines.” (ACORN charges membership dues, much as labor unions do; thus, by exploiting AmeriCorps funding to inflate its membership rolls, ACORN used government resources to bring in even more money — money with no restrictions on its political use.)
A SHADY PAST . . .
Given that federal funding is used “flexibly” within the ACORN empire, what kind of return is the government getting on its investment? Historically, failed 1960s-style leftism, intimidation and rabble-rousing, and questionable business practices — and hypocrisy. The EPI study documents ACORN’s involvement in an $850,000 labor-union embezzlement scheme in the late 1990s; in 2003, ACORN was found to have violated the National Labor Relations Act and was ordered to “rehire and pay restitution to employees terminated for attempting to form a union.” (ACORN’s in-house union-busting starkly contradicts its prescriptions for private-sector unionization, and is especially two-faced considering that ACORN’s chief organizer and co-founder — Wade Rathke — is also the chief organizer of Local 100 of the Service Employees International Union in New Orleans.)
ACORN’s hypocrisy also extends to its stand on the minimum wage. While it has often attempted to force minimum-wage increases on private businesses through ballot initiatives and local ordinances, ACORN tried to exempt itself from California’s minimum-wage requirements. According to EPI, “ACORN argued that being forced to pay higher wages would mean that they would hire fewer employees — the very dilemma faced by businesses. Incredibly, ACORN stated that paying its employees a lower wage would allow them to be more sympathetic to the low- and moderate-income families they were attempting to help. ACORN argued that abiding by the state minimum wage would limit their ability to promote their agenda and would therefore be a violation of their First Amendment rights.”
. . . AND A DARKER PRESENT
Fittingly, wage increases are the centerpiece of ACORN’s current woes. This year, Florida’s state organization is purportedly helping the indigent by pushing for a ballot initiative that would inflate the state’s minimum wage. To oversee the campaign to make Amendment 5 binding law, Florida ACORN spawned the PAC Floridians For All.
Unfortunately, Floridians For All doesn’t seem concerned with fair voting for all. In order to put a measure on the Florida ballot, one must collect 500,000 signatures; the catch, however, is that those signatures must belong to men and women registered to vote in Florida at the time they sign the petition forms. So Floridians For All, in the process of collecting signatures statewide, had unsuspecting citizens fill out voter-registration paperwork along with the ballot-initiative petition forms. Mark Wilson, vice president of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and executive director of VoteSmartFlorida.org, explains: “In Florida, you must be a registered voter to sign a petition. But you’re not registered to vote in Florida until a county supervisor runs you through the computer and says you are.” So, says Wilson, Floridians For All “would turn in the voter registrations they’d collected on, say, a Monday, and then hold on to the accompanying petition forms for a couple of weeks before turning them in — so that by the time the petition forms hit the system, it looked like they belonged to people who had already registered to vote.” According to Wilson, some petition forms were fraudulently post-dated by ACORN workers; he adds, however, that “they didn’t even have to post-date them — handing them in late did the trick in making it look like they belonged to people who were properly registered.”
Florida ACORN also registered thousands of felons — who, under Florida law, are ineligible to vote. They can, technically, apply for a restoration of civil rights; according to former Florida ACORN worker Mac Stuart — who has filed a whistleblower lawsuit against his ex-employer — ACORN exploited this hope in order to get felons to sign voter-registration cards. “We’d go up to them and say, ‘Want your civil rights restored?’ That’s the pitch we were using. But those forms are not worth the paper they’re printed on — there hasn’t been any instance of clemency under the last two governors,” Stuart claims. The forms became doubly worthless after Florida ACORN was through with them: “The restoration-of-civil-rights forms would go into the garbage,” Stuart says. The voter-registration forms, however, were kept safe — as they were worth much more.
That’s because each registration played a valuable part in Floridians For All’s alleged pay-per-voter scheme. Stuart claims that Florida ACORN paid workers $2 for each voter registration they collected, and claims he has receipts to prove it. While it is permissible to pay an individual to register voters, “paying workers per registration,” explains EPI spokesman Mike Burita, “is a felony in Florida — counted on a per-violation basis — so there could be thousands of crimes here.”
A TANGLED WEB
Stuart’s accusations suggest a process and cycle of kickbacks: “We’d go through colleges, malls, shopping strips, wherever there were people,” collecting voter registrations. At the end of each week, he claims, “you made copies of the voter-registration forms — which was illegal. Once a form is signed, it’s illegal to make copies of it…. From there, we’d send the copies to Project Vote [a national ACORN voter-registration arm, and yet another sub-group] in Brooklyn, and then Project Vote would send it to America’s Families United [an independent 527 organization in Washington, D.C.].” In turn, AFU would send money back to Project Vote — initially $3.75 per voter registration, later increased to $4.10, according to Stuart.
“Project Vote would send me e-mails,” claims Stuart, “with an allocation saying, ‘We got X amount of money from America’s Families United for Y number of cards.’” He says that Project Vote would then forward that money to Citizens Consulting, Inc., headquartered out of the same national ACORN building in New Orleans. (Coincidentally, CCI is, according to Garthwaite, run by the brother of ACORN head Wade Rathke.)
Stuart claims that CCI would then write a check to ACORN’s Miami account — from which he would distribute the standard $2 per registration to Florida ACORN workers. Because Stuart, at the behest of ACORN, says he gave registration-gatherers only $2 per card — when America’s Families United was sending $3.75 (and then $4.10) to ACORN for each voter registration obtained — every photocopied voter registration submitted earned ACORN a net profit of $1.75 (later $2.10) per registration.
NRO’s requests for a comment in response to Stuart’s allegations went unanswered. In other media, however, ACORN has dismissed the charges, blaming the individual whistleblower for any wrongdoing. This internal e-mail, however — in which Florida ACORN head organizer Brian Ketterning says Stuart is dangerous, “as he knows too much” — suggests that ACORN may, in fact, have something damaging to hide.
NONPARTISAN?
Granted, Amendment 5 did have other, non-monetary purposes. While Ketterning acquired funding for Floridians For All on the explicit promise that it was promoting a nonpartisan minimum-wage ballot initiative, a copy of Floridians For All’s own campaign plan indicates otherwise.
The first paragraph of the plan reads:
A Florida constitutional amendment initiative to create a minimum wage of $6.15 with indexing will help defeat George W. Bush and other Republicans by increasing Democratic turnout in a close election, will deliver wage gains to at least 300,000 Floridians, and will catalyze the construction of permanent progressive political infrastructure that will help redirect Florida politics in a more progressive, Democratic direction
(emphasis added).
Later:
Given that turnout is down when the economy is bad, since our voters are more discouraged, the need for a exciting ballot initiative strategy that works to address the needs of the most economically needy, and also likely Democratic voters, is a fundamental part of a winning strategy in Florida.
Not exactly a nonpartisan effort prioritizing the minimum wage.
Perhaps this explains the $250,000, $25,000, and another $25,000 in donations to Floridians For All from the National Education Association, MoveOn.org, and SEIU, respectively, as well as Nancy Pelosi’s awareness efforts in Floridians For All’s behalf. (Interestingly enough, Floridians For All also received $150,000 from the Tides Foundation — on whose board of directors Wade Rathke serves, and to which Teresa Heinz Kerry and her foundation contribute.) Hundreds of thousands of dollars from national left-leaning organizations, and the attentions of the House Minority Leader, seem out of place for an ordinary state ballot initiative — out of place, that is, until you realize that Floridians For All and Florida ACORN do not consider the minimum wage their main priority. It makes much more sense for MoveOn.org, the NEA, SEIU, and Nancy Pelosi to turn out for a massive effort to defeat George W. Bush in Florida — to avenge 2000, and secure one of 2004’s most-watched swing states.
In the course of its crusade to defeat the president and establish a Democratic stronghold, ACORN faces remarkable allegations: taking license with its internal bookkeeping; gathering and filing illegitimate petition forms; forging signatures; destroying voter-registration applications and other official documents entrusted to its care; profiting from illegal pay-per-vote schemes; lying to potential donors; abusing a state constitution for national-level partisan exploits; vilifying conscientious employees; and disenfranchising hundreds, and possibly thousands, of citizens.
And — if it’s all true — that’s just in Florida, itself only a small part of ACORN’s antics nationwide.
And those antics are supported by Uncle Sam’s dime.

I haven’t time to read all these comments … but if no one has mentioned it, Rudman and Danforth enumerated charges of fraud and ACORN violations/indictments yesterday at the National Press Club. I listened on CSPAN and it was pretty compelling. Not exactly unbiased sources, I know, but still … the number and scope of charges were impressive.
Unfortunately, if you didn’t listen on CSPAN you may never get the full story (except maybe from sally?!?) cuz the media seems to be papering over it. This was about all I could find this a.m.:

I did like this quote from the above article:
Bog Edgar, the president of Common Cause, an ally of Acorn, acknowledged at the news conference the potential problems the suspect registrations create, but said there is “no evidence that these false registrations lead to false attempts to actually cast a ballot.”
“And that’s the important thing,” Mr. Edgar said.
Please!!

Yeah, just because a criminal has a gun pointed at a police officer, the officer should not assume he intends to pull the trigger.

Sally, in the future, please just give us a synopsis and a link.

Ohio Sec of State Brunner sitting on 200,000 suspect voter registrations !
“Since Jan. 1, Ohio has 666,000 newly registered or updated voters — all of whom fall under scrutiny by this latest court ruling. Brunner said an initial review found that at least 200,000 of them might have mismatched information. Once the office identifies all of the mismatched voters, Brunner will send the list to the county boards of election where the individuals have registered. ”

Racism and bigotry LIVE!
Idiocy abounds and ignore-ance thrives in those afraid of alittle change from their humdrum crackerness
GOOD GOD people…If you could just listen to yourselves…Just pull your heads out long enough to actually view yourselves from a non-hate filled and objective viewpoint but unfortunately you are so sucked into that mire of petty selfishness, bigotry and igonorance you can’t be objective about a rock much less a human being. That espoused enlightenment but blind hatred is just as pathetic. SO HUNG UP in your loathing and self-referenced existances.
JUST BECAUSE YOU were so unread as to not KNOW WHO MR OBAMA was prior to 2007, don’t extrapolate your refusal to be read to the other 300,000,000 of us.
And just because you want to buy into the profound BS fed to you on your side of the hate scale, don’t assume the majority of the people of this country are so evilly biased.
You choose NOT to believe the facts staring you in the face because it doesn’t fit into your 17th century bigotry; your neo-fascist doctrine. It is funny how the Constitution gets bantered around as if there was some actual on-going relationship with it by any of you, especially those who have a love of the Master of Constitution shredding, GW Bush.
Throwing around accusations of murder and vote fixing as if you actually know something on the subjects other than spun spin of someone’s fantasy based on a psychotic delusion of a bad hallucination that one of your prophets of hate has pushed out into the etherial haze you call knowledge and “truth”.
It saddens me that there are more than one or two of you since I don’t believe the Health system can handle you all for the ECT and intensive hospitaliization needed to treat the psychotic head space you have heretofor ascribed. Bush destroyed what was left of the mental health system after Reagan broke it up and threw it to the Republican wolves to shred.
Take your sad, sad illness and get some real help….NYC has Belleview; California has Camaria; Kansas has Osawatamie and I am sure they will get you some assistance in your payments for the help you so obviously need

Yes jack, I know, Suspect Jan is one of the “I can’t possibly be a racist because I voted for a black president” crowd. If Jan doesn’t get over it soon think the $100 an hour recliner would be a wise investment.

Osawatomie is definitely out as a possibility. It’s already stuffed to the brim with liberal Dems who could no longer adjust to living in a persistently “red” state. Of course, they might be able to accommodate Jan in one of toilet stalls.
