A Simple Question for the Socialists
October 16th, 2008 by jack
What do the oil companies do when the price of crude oil goes up?
Update:
It has now been about 24 hours, and no socialists have had the balls to answer this simple question. I guess they are afraid of the Socratic Method — it’s part of their general fear and loathing of Reason. But let us go on.
We have all seen the gas prices go up as the cost of crude oil went up. Coincidence? I think not. So, if the oil companies raise their prices when their crude oil costs go up, what should we expect when their taxes go up?
Conversely, we have seen gas prices fall as the price of crude oil has come down. So, having observed that the oil companies lower their prices when their crude oil costs go down, what should we expect when their taxes go down?
Any takers?
