Just what positive thing has Obama actually already done?
October 24th, 2008 by Brian Withnell
Most Presidential candidate can point to a long list of accomplishments. Carter, Bush and Clinton point to running a state well. Other Presidents point to introduction of legislation that helped do this or that. Try as I might, Obama seems to have been invisible. He hasn’t done anything. There isn’t anything with his name attached as the author of any bills. There aren’t even any proposed legislation with his name on it.
The guy talks a lot, but in two years in congress, he has shown absolutely no leadership in getting anything onto the floor. No leadership in proposing anything that even did NOT make sense. He is a do nothing sort of guy.
He did line his pockets with money … he seems to know how to do that … but no positive (or even negative) initiatives. He follows? Is that what we want for a President?
The only person I can find that has any positive to say about his record is in this article, and even then, it isn’t on anything in two years he has as a senator. The author falls all over himself at how wonderful Obama was back in the state legislature. Nothing for the last two years? “What have you done for me lately?”
The guy is a lightweight, and the world knows it. His running mate knows it. Obama has never put forward any initiative in the senate. He should not be trusted as a president.

The linked article attempts to make a case, but is a very lame case at best. It does effectively show Obama to be the lightweight legislator that he is. In Illinois, 2 bills, and how many “present” votes ?
Not ready for prime time..

He has no qualifications for the office of President. And lots of things that should disqualify him. Obama is about the stupidest pick the Democrats have ever made … it is a comment on how bad things have gotten in this country that they are even in the running.
Perhaps what his pastor prayed is actually happening (the “God damn America” sermon). I still have hope for mercy from God, for clearly if Obama wins, it is a curse from God.

omg did you just tip your hat to Clinton??

SPMM,
While I think Clinton was a crook, he at least had some record of qualifications for being a President. Obama hasn’t done anything. Two years and no legislation? That’s pathetic. It isn’t like he is a 25 year old fresh from college, he just hasn’t ever done anything worthy of qualification for the office of President. So yes, I think the *Clintons* (Bill or even Hillary) have more of a record of accomplishments (even if I disagree with what they did) than Obama.

Obama’s only qualification is he’s black. Geraldine Ferraro was absolutely right.

What POSITIVE THING has Obama DONE;
ZIP ZAP ZERO!

Well, he DID protect doctors from being forced to provide medical care to babies that survived abortions.

From Mark Steyn, remember these 2 phrases:
Point of No Return
Declaration of Dependence

he let the press run wild with their pathetic coverage! That is the only thing I can think of and now NObama is paying the piper with falling poll number. People are FINALLY doing their homework on the this guy and realizing he has nothing to offer except higher taxes and a defeatist mentality.

ummmmm….nothing

There is no reason to vote for this guy. He will be a great tax and spend kind of guy. These are not the Democrats that our grandparents remember, working for the working man. I have heard that there are questions about his citizenship, was he actually born in the U.S. and did he give up his citizenship to go to a college out of country? This guy is trouble

My only hope is that 0bama, being completely inexperienced and incompetent, will be unable to enact his socialist schemes.
October 26th, 2008 at 8:56 pm
My hope is that God has mercy on us. Anything else is gravy. Mercy might be getting us through a socialist government, it might be having Obama defeated. It might be Obama gets elected, and the country is overthrown by invading Mexicans (with him in office, it could happen). If God’s mercy extended to having Obama, Biden, McCain and Palin all decide they do not belong in office and strike their names from the ballots, the country is thrown into a constitutional crisis I’ll take it as mercy against what might have been. Mercy is undeserved favor, and any good that comes our way at this point is what I would have to believe is undeserved.
I asked what Obama has done, but then again, what have we done either? Not much. I do have to say that Joe does try (I know few people that have walked from door-to-door eliciting pledges to hire only those individuals that are legally here. Joe gets at least one brownie point.

Guys, if anything, there is a lingering question mark over the guy. Even in the face of the SVFT 572, Kerry had a 5.3% lead going into the final 3 days of 2004. Obama has no more than 3 or 4 points with no focused 572 in front of him, and the MSM at his back…pushing for him.
Consider the following…

Someone at work today got a call from the Obama camp offering free goodies, a radio I think it was, to put a sign in her yard.
Are these signs we see really supporters ?
October 28th, 2008 at 6:26 am
That is wacky about the radio.
We got out sign stolen this weekend - AGAIN.

Nope, he hasn’t done a thing in government. He is a con man. A glib taker, the gift of gab like many an intelligent, educated black man has and those are the most dishonest kind. Those kinds can con a person out of their last dime, I know because it happened to my brother.
It’s hard to imagine the White House being filled with a black family. I’m just starting to get used to seeing a black man or woman with a white person , wow. I do believe many people have become to laxed about this. Welp we gave blacks an inch and they’re taking a mile and we’re letting them do it. How sad for our kids to live in this new age.

Obaba hasn’t done anything. Now I hear him preaching on tv, the same speech over and over again reading off his teleprompter, “about people saying how he didn’t share his toys in kindergarten, or sharing his peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Well in Indonesia I don’t think they had peanut butter. I still believe he’s an Indonesian Citizen too.
He certainly is one of the best cons I’ve heard in a long time and a sociopath as well, I’ve known many of them unfortunately and got hurt very badly by them. They’re so slick and charming easy to fall in love with once you’re in their webs. Like the saying, quote of that;
“Oh the tangled webs we weave,
When we practice to deceive.”
Thats Obaba alright, he sure deceived so many naive, gullible people.

How can we elect this man with so many questions unanswered? I believe Americans have gone completely out of their minds. Mainly the younger generation, first time voters have done nothing in their lives either, so they can’t relate to what it means to own a business and pay taxes for their workers health and social security benefits. I have four employees and pay close to $6000 a month for them. If Obaba gets in I will have to fire two to be able to live and support myself. This is a crime. Bush should investigate him throughly now and put the election on hold until we all know exactly who he is and how great a security risk he is to our country.
