NOVATOWNHALL

has been reconceptualized yet again

This lady is so right on that it hurts.

When I see what I’ve seen around this country and the inane reasons people give for supporting Obama, I have to believe that it is what Laura Hollis said on townhall.com.

I have seen many so many reasons why people were going to vote for him:

    1. He’s cute
    2. I like his voice
    3. His wife does not buy expensive clothes
    4. I will now have health insurance
    5. His mother had to get food stamps
    6. He grew up like me
    7. He wrote and passed so many good bills
    8. He does not own 7 houses
    9. McCain lives in excess

and hundreds more along the same lines. I saw these mostly from young voters.

I saw one that really made me sad, she stated, “I’m entitled to free health insurance.”

I have also seen many that believe a socialist society is the best because everyone gets free health care.

I have also seen many that claimed Obama was a better person because he did not have 13 cars and they blamed McCain for filling up the landfills.

Clearly, many feel that McCain and his wife are not entitled to spend their own money as they see fit.

Reasons for voting has turned into who has something and what I don’t, and I see no indication for them getting anything the old fashioned way because they believe that they are entitled.

I have also seen that the same people believe that everything is a “Right,” and I have not run across the word, “responsibilty.”

I did see several say that they were “Entitled” to free health care.

Finally, I have read remarks that they believe socialism is the way to go and it has nothing to do with communism. Some were puzzled why so many are against socialism and they were insulted when McCain mentioned it.
