Cooke named his new stadium after his deceased son believing it would stay that way. Synder changed that fast to accept the millions from fed-Ex each year.

You can’t blame the location of the stadium on Dan Snyder. Jack Kent Cooke built it in MD because the mayor of DC at the time, Sharon Pratt Whatshername, thought she held all the bargaining chips and it turned out she didn’t. Cooke truly wanted the stadium in the city.

Snyder got the stadium as part of the deal when he bought the team. Despite the terrible location and traffic, I imagine there is no way in hell the Redskins are getting another new stadium for decades.

Don’t forget that by definition the season gets harder as it progresses because everybody is studying everybody else’s film. The Skins and Cowboys both are no better than mid-level to upper third teams (Skins because of lack of talent and Boys because of poor coaching) and they can no longer fool anyone. Or, you could say they have not improved along with the competition.

I do not think it is time to give up on Jason Campbell yet. He’s on his third offense already, right? The team needs more time to gel. Losing Chris Samuels means that is unlikely to happen this year.
