Honeymoon: Over

June 21, 2009: the date America officially realizes that it has made a big, big mistake, and the “Democrat” brand becomes the biggest pinata in American political history.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 32% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-four percent (34%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. That’s the President’s lowest rating to date and the first time the Presidential Approval Index has fallen below zero for Obama (see trends).

Maybe it should be called the tipping point. Whatever, the jig is up, and the public approval data reflects it, and the trajectory is toward Jimmy Carter.

Fellow conservatives, please bring out your whacking sticks, as it is whacking time.

I would say that the attendance at the upcoming 4th of July Tea Parties will be a good gauge to determine how riled up people really are.

The polling data’s been heading in this direction for a couple of weeks. The tea parties are going to be one indicator. Another will be the degree to which nationalized “health care” is backed by politicians in Washington. If they start turning against this plan publicly, then perhaps people really will have come out of their stupor. This is the time to turn up the e-mail and phone calls to our representatives. Not to change their minds, because I’m betting it won’t do that, but to add to their stress level. The more they’re stressed, the more tentative they may become in boldly stating the lying propaganda they’ve been fed about how great nationalized health care will be. I’m sick of the “lying with their eyes WIDE” politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Mark Warner, etc. It’s time to turn up the heat.

But the golfing has just begun!

I had heard Obama played Golf after laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and a friend of mine that is involved with Rolling Thunder told me he declined an invitation to speak with the vets that head up this ride on the same day. Apparently Bush met with them every Memorial Day.

Some say that the cause for the breakup of many marriages is a dispute over finances. Looks like they may be right.
