Gov. Palin, beset by multiple, ridiculous ethics complaints, such as the one about her wearing a jacket that promoted the sponsor of her husband’s snowmobile racing team, and the one about her holding a fish for a photo.
Her decision to resign, however, is short-sighted. It will merely encourage more of this behavior by the left. It is time to start an investigation of those who have brought these frivolous complaints, see which leftist organizations are behind the, and have the State of Alaska file suit against those organizations.

Sanity had global warming in the back of his mind all along because he knew it was a major Achilles Heel for his argument. That looked to me like a “Ha! Ha!” of desperation in #43.
In fact, the way both Sanity and Zimzo have started screaming of late, I am beginning to believe that, down deep, they have begun to see the handwriting on the wall, i.e., that their beloved Obama is starting to tank in many areas. What must be really frustrating for them is that, on some issues, the Left is starting to accuse Obama of imitating Bush. Now, isn’t that one Hell of a lark?!! I would submit that if these were all ‘reputable scientists’, the responses would have been 100% in agreement with question #1.

Zimzo did not attend my high school. But it is interesting he goes into such a hissy-fit at the merest suggestion his Auntie Franken deserves to be splattered with ink for being a skirt-wearing butterball. I think Zimzo and Al Franken have a lot of traits in common.

I am still chuckling at what Zimzo imagines to be a young Joe with a propeller hat and pocket protector in HS. His junior psychologist analysis is interesting, so I will take a stab with my own analysis by stating that I think Zimzo is imprinting (is that the correct term?) his own HS experience on Joe.
Zimzo has no masculinity to attack.

The New York City Council June 30 called on Mayor Bloomberg to add Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to the New York Public School calendar. The non-binding council vote, Resolution 1281, passed with only councilmember G. Oliver Koppel opposing, urges the schools be closed to celebrate the two Islamic feast days. The vote comes as the culmination of a three-years lobbying effort by New York Islamist groups and what supporters such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations describe as “over 80 Labor and Community Organizations.”
That’s nothing compared to the laugh the Islamists will have if they can get “kufr”(Kufr is a derogatory term for non-Muslims.) to celebrate Islamic feast days on September 11 in New York City.
Consider the source, Marjorie. I always thought that one of the qualifications for sitting on the New York City Council was to have been released with a clean bill of health from the Bellevue Hospital mental ward.
I don’t think we’re in Hymietown anymore.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg Says No to Muslim School Holidays
Back on June 18th, I reported that Resolution 1281 was passed overwhelmingly by the New York City Council Education Committee. It called on the “New York City Department of Education to incorporate the Muslim holidays of Eid Ul-Fitr and Eid Ul-Adha as observed school holidays in the school calendar for the city school district of the city of New York” and also asked that the state legislature “pass, and the Governor to sign into law,” a measure calling for this. CAIR was euphoric. It was absolutely silent on the mullahs murdering Iranians who were fighting and dying for freedom in Iran, but positively giddy on the news that the NYC Council had caved on Muslim holidays.
Today Bloomberg said no to Muslim school holidays.

Zimzo appears to be somewhat fortunate in that people on this blog actually respond to his posts. Wolverine’s professional instincts were aroused once again, and he took a brief trip through blogland to see where Zimzo has been. At, least, I think it is our Zimzo. Who else would use that handle?
I got a chuckle when one blogmeister out of Tennessee simply told Zimzo to “hit the road” and never come back. On another blog, Zimzo threw out the usual snide racist accusation and got slapped down in rapid succession by one-liners from two different posters and was then ignored.
I also looked back at Zimzo on NVTH long before I got on here. This is apparently not the first time that Zimzo has given everyone his personal picture of a young high schooler named Joe. Zimzo on NVTH actually seems to me to represent a picture of considerable tolerance…or perhaps an inclination on the part of regular posters for occasional batting practice.
Looks good to me. Zimzo should continue to offer up his 50 mph fastballs and those curves which fail to break. Keeps you in shape waiting for Kevin and Stay Puft to take the mound and provide some real competition. And I do miss El Jefe, really I do.
Ah yes, Googling Zimzo is a pastime I’ve occasionally enjoyed as a secret vice. But in the end he has done his best work here by far, and also received the most sympathetic welcome.
Kevin and Stay Puft must be so proud to have the respect of you guys.
