Ah, the new era. Yes, the dipshit stumbling bumpkin certainly seems to be inaugurating a new era in America, in which the majority of Americans now christened by the Democrats as the “mob” are supposed to shut up and “get out of the way.” It will be interesting to see how that works out for him. Well, here’s a hint:
More “tolerance” by GA Democrat David Scott:
http://www.theneweditor.com/index.php?/archives/9980-Georgia-Democrat-screams-at-constituent-for-asking-question-on-health-care.html
After he dressed down his constituents he won’t comment on his rant, apparently it went on for approx 7 minutes.
Very powerful report.
I mean the one on David Scott. The original video confirms the thuggery going on on the Left.
When all else fails, throw out the race card:
http://hotairpundit.blogspot.com/2009/08/cynthia-tucker-on-hardball-45-65-of.html
Chris Matthews and his guest suggest that the “mobs” are racially motivated, uneducated, rural…..
Ron Bernstein pretty much gets it. Matthews and Tucker are a matched pair of fools. “Hardball” should be telecast from an outhouse.
Angry crowd blocked from “Obama-care event” Grafton, New Hampshire
Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s representative tries to limit videotaping and limit expected “town hall meeting” to a few people at a time. Apparently there was a general miscommunication to the public regarding the nature of the event. Shaheen operatives say it was not supposed to be a town hall meeting. This was shot around town offices at Grafton, New Hampshire, population 1300.

White House Warns Rush: Nazi Talk Puts You On “Thin Ice And It Is Best Not Employed”
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/08/07/white-house-warns-rush-na_n_254147.html?page=105&show_comment_id=28562333#comment_28562333
Thin Ice? Gee, that can be interpreted many ways.
It appears that half of the country is on “Thin Ice” in their opinion.
Frank Schaeffer’s warning: The ‘Glenn Becks’ have unleashed ‘an anti-democratic, anti-American movement in this country’
“And we’ve seen it in front of abortion clinics, I’m afraid we’re going to see it with some of our political leaders. And the Glenn Becks of this world literally are responsible for unleashing what I regard as an anti-democratic, anti-American movement in this country. It is trying to shut down legitimate debate, and replace it with straight-out intimidation.”
Be sure to READ the posts following the article for more eye openers.

I’ve been reading some disturbing posts all over the internet. The more that you read, the more that you realize that the allegations being made against “Right Wing Republicans,” is purposely deliberate to not only attempt to make the citizens look like terrorists, lunatics and liars but also the Republican leadership whether they are right or wrong, they agree with bHo or not. Guns in the hands of these “Right Wing Lunatics,” is also mentioned quite often and what they may do with them.
This is a Palin type tactical smear against all Republicans of greater magnitude and more serious accusations.
This is the beginning of the Chicago Style campaign season all over again.
Yo, Frankie! Your definition of “anti-democratic” is demanding that your elected representatives read the bills they pass before passing them? Your definition of “anti-democratic” is insisting that those same elected representatives listen to and consider your viewpoint? And your definition of “anti-American” is refusing to roll over and play dead when Obama, Pelosi, and Reid ask you to?
Frankie, boy, somehow you managed to get your head screwed on backwards. No wonder Rachel had you on her show. You and she are a perfect match.
“Chris Matthews and his guest suggest that the ‘mobs’ are racially motivated, uneducated, rural…..”

Welcome to the last 8 years, folks! You reap what you sow. You bitch about it now that you’re on the other side. But when you look at it, this is exactly what you spent the last 8 years doing….
Thanks for all the partisanship!!!
Now, Kevin, I just do not recall ever saying that you were a member of an uneducated “mob” or anything close to it. Not even Zimzo, to my recollection. Nor did I ever see union thugs or any other kind of thugs sent to break up Democratic or liberal protests. I mean, even that woman from CodePink who interrupted Palin’s speech at the Repub Convention was simply escorted from the hall by the usual security officials per standard procedure.
Yes, there are always some stupids at any event who say stupid things, but that seems to be common on all sides. When you attended a political event or a protest during those eight years, did you ever fear that some bozo with an anagram on his t-shirt was going to shove you into a wall or punch you in the mouth? And do you think anyone on this blog, for instance, would have approved of such tactics?
jacob, maybe, but not you
“Welcome to the last 8 years, folks!”
You keep saying stuff like this, Kevin, but when called to back it up with relevant and concrete examples, you ignore it.
I know you *can’t* back it up, so I really don’t expect anything else. Just wanted you to know that we notice, and mostly don’t want you thinking that this is somehow a winning argument for you.
This will become a bigger deal in the coming days as busloads of union thugs show up at these events and engage in increasingly thuggish behavior. After all, the administration itself has all-but-given the green light to do so …
No you’re right, squids. There is no winning argument. You just keep showing up at townhalls with your moonbats and keep on screaming.
Yeah, surprising in this one instance Kevin has no citations, huh?
A couple citations for Kevin:
“To put a point on it, the pluralistic outlook was hardly exemplified by the unwashed angry liberal thugs who charged the stage, kicked over the podium and physically assaulted the speaker from the Minutemen when he was invited to speak at Columbia.”
http://www.novatownhall.com/blog/2007/10/theology_and_ideology_of_a_vis.php
Fox News urged left-wing hecklers be “Tased” or “beaten to a pulp”
http://mediamatters.org/blog/200908050024
And were they? Who was beaten, the speaker or the students?
The only time I recall a protester being tasered was at a Kerry speech …
Try again.
Kevin, that just went over the line. I have never advocated violence if anything I always welcome assholes like you to come here are scread away. otherwise this place would wind up like a typical left wing site like huf-po or KOS, an echo chamber. Moonbats etc. that all you have been good for as of late. kiss my ass.
Here you go squiddy:
http://gnn.tv/headlines/4424/Police_attack_protesters_with_tasers_and_dogs
http://paganwiccan.about.com/b/2008/09/03/pagan-protesters-tasered-at-rnc.htm
etc.
It’s like you all have mass amnesia.
Zimmy, You had to really dig for those examples didn’t you? A pagan was tasered last year and a couple war protestors got violent in 2005 (and subsequently subdued) and it is mass hysteria.
BTW, Please tell your BFF Prof Gates I am thinking about him everytime I pass by a Police Cruiser.
Jeezus, zimbo, I know you’re not stupid — but you persist in saying such stupid things.
You do know the difference between a legally appointed police officer and a self-appointed thug on the street who carries a gun, don’t you? Or are they the same in your would?
The White House is all-but directing their supporters, who have no legal authority, to confront opponents at Congressional townhalls – many of the comments from the left could be construed as advocating violence against these opponents.
I guess the equivalence would’ve been when President Bush told all his pro-life supporters to get out and confront the participants in the March for Women’s Lives, to get in their faces and shout them down.
Oh wait, that didn’t happen in *this* universe…
And you have to understand there’s a particular sensitivity to using mob rule, given this is the same President who said:
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set,” he said. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
This guy’s tactics reminds me more and more of Hugo Chavez every day …
This is what you said, squiddy: “The only time I recall a protester being tasered was at a Kerry speech.”
It’s not surprising that you can’t admit when you’re wrong.
You guys asked for examples, I gave you some.
Of course, it’s always different when Republicans do it.
Zim, I guess this means that you stand opposed to sworn police officers upholding the law. So, by the Book of Zim protesters are allowed to ignore the orders of police officers enforcing the laws, and, when they suffer the inevitable consequences, the protesters are the innocents and the law enforcement officers are always the guilty ones. Amazing how some protesters, who believe in ignoring the law whenever they so please, are always the little angels. Personally, I am surprised at how often police officers exercise restraint in such situations — a good thing in the Book of Wolverine.
But, when it comes to private citizens enlisted as thugs to confront and possibly rough up other private citizens, it becomes a completely different story. I’m still waiting for your declaration on where you stand on this, Zim. I would imagine that we are together on the need for police officers to exhibit reasonable restraint. But, how do you feel about the thugs and the snitches, et al? And please don’t run away from this question like some of those Dem representatives are running away from the questions raised by their constituents.
Interesting that, in those examples cited by Zimzo, the police officers doing the tasering and subduing, were from a “blue” state which just saw Al Franken installed in the U.S. Senate after being “pseudo-elected” — sort of like George Bush in Florida in 2000, it does seem to me.
BTW, some here may not recall the summer of 1968 when, during the Democratic National Convention, the police officers in Chicago, taking their orders from the Daley machine, clashed heavily with anti-war protesters in the streets. I tell you, when Dem goes after Dem, things can get really nasty. A good reason to nip the current situation in the bud.
Wolv,
Cogent and Zim does not mix. Consistent and zim — it is so gosh darn cute when I see how wild eyed idealistic you are. Keep trying. Who knows.
“Idealistic”, Jacob? Do you by chance remember a scene in “Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid” when the pair of them are trying to escape from the law by riding hell for leather through the desert? They just cannot seem to shake the Pinkerton posse completely, no matter what they try. At a certain point, far into the wilderness, they finally congratulate each other on having effected their escape. Then, one of them turns in the saddle and sees a distant cloud of dust raised by the hooves of the horses ridden by the posse. One of the outlaws — I don’t remember which — looks at the cloud in disbelief and says: “Just who are these guys anyway?!!”
The motto of my professional life, Jacob. I still believe in it and still practice it.
Indeed…The situations have clearly been a setup for further legislation at our expense and freedoms:
Officials see rise in militia groups across US
“The stress of a poor economy and a liberal administration led by a black president are among the causes for the recent rise, the report from the Southern Poverty Law Center says. Conspiracy theories about a secret Mexican plan to reclaim the Southwest are also growing amid the public debate about illegal immigration.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090812/ap_on_re_us/us_militia_movement
The Southern Poverty Law Center targets and labels innocent citizens who don’t agree with the government.
“Conspiracy theories about a secret Mexican plan to reclaim the Southwest are also growing amid the public debate about illegal immigration.”
Conspiracy? Research “Mecha” who receives funds from La Raza and Aztlan.com and you will see hate for us and the desire to take the country.
“Sonya Sotomayor, served on the National Council of La Raza from 1998 to 2004 – beginning her involvement one year after the president of Mexico stood before the group and declared that “…the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by its borders and that Mexican migrants are an important, a very important part of it.”
Jose Angle Gutierrez, founder of the La Raza Unida Party, “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him.”
Those remarks and hundreds more exist on tapes.
