Expanding on 0bama’s Idea

President 0bama did present a very interesting idea in his State of the Union speech, that all earmarks should be posted online by the requestion congresscritter before it is voted on. That is fine as far as it goes, but it should go farther. The requesting congresscritter should also be required to quote the section of the Constitution that gives Congress the power to do what the earmark says.

  1. I’m way cool with that idea. They did promise transparency, didn’t they? And what American would object to the validity of any request being in compliance with the original document that has seperated us from all other failed governments for 300 years?

Monk, “transparency,” dream on. It’s a temporary pacifier for the whiners. With the Dipshit there have been fewer hearings broadcast, fewer documents released, more behind closed door meetings and bills that were to be posted for citizens view were not.

I wonder how much the Dipshit would pay to have all congressional and senate documents sealed, so far he’s paid something to the tune of $1.8 million to keep any documents pertaining to his life sealed and he continues to fight these requests. I am beginning to believe that there are no documents from his background to seal, something, just one or two things would surely have surfaced. Million dollar rewards have been offered for information or the documents, nothing.

The Dipshit is going after the kids again, organizing in high schools!!!

The entire thing sounds like it was written by Ayers for the Dipshit.

These high school kids are the future voters in 2012 and beyond……Get It?

He is dropping in the polls among these kids parents so he has moved on to their impressionable children.

Very interesting, pages of instructions and it includes the students home and cell phone numbers and email address.

Whatever. That woman is done as far as presidential politics goes.

Just cuz you’re drinkin’ the kool aid on Friday night don’t mean I am.

  7. ACTivist says:

You got that out of that article? Are you that scared of her too, Kiddin’? No one has said anything about her running in 2012 but you seem to have resolved that she will NEVER vie for your buddy’s seat! I do believe that anybody, including you, could beat this clown now. So why not Sarah? I’m willing to bet that the next conservative ticket has a woman on it.

  8. Kevin says:

Well, she won’t, ACT. But yes, that’s exactly it. By saying she’s irrelevant I’m really saying I’m scared of her. That’s why HE, Joe, Jacob, Jack, et al, must actually be scared of Bobama…oh wait, he did make pres!

  9. dans says:

What I get out of the yahoo article is that Palin is the only one who can unite Tea Partiers and the GOP…

In 2012 Pat Paulsen could beat Obama at the rate his popularity is sinking…

The Usurping Dipshit doesn’t scare me, he is proving everything that I said about him for the past two years.

Would you marry a woman who showed up from nowhere, she won’t show you her birth certificate, she won’t tell you where she went to school or what her grades were or allow you to see any of her documents, she won’t show you her passport, she won’t show you her medical records, she won’t tell you how she traveled around the world when she claimed that she was broke, she won’t tell you who paid for those trips, she won’t tell you who paid for her education, etc.

It is truly and sadly amazing that people don’t care that the Usurping, Interloping Dipshit has access every top secret document and information concerning this country and our security and no one really knows where the hell he came from or who he is. What we do know is that he was content with his radical, terrorist friends, acquaintances, drinking, partying and drugs the past twenty years, where was he and what was he doing before that? To date he has paid in excess of $1.7 million to actively fight the release of any records pertaining to his life, I believe that there was nothing in most cases to actually seal.

I stand by the fact that he never should have been allowed on the ballots until he proved who he is.

  11. Had Enough says:

Palin is pissing me off, she should NOT make a campaign appearance for mccain.

I don’t want him re-elected in Arizona anymore than I wanted him president. Time for him to retire, the quicker the better.

    Real Unemployment 18 Percent…..

“In reality, unemployment spiked to an all-time high of 18%. Yes, 18%! This is the official number reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).”

    http://www.etfguide.com/research/261/8/Real-Unemployment-18Percent-Will-Stocks-Falter?/

I’ve said this all along. More of the Dipshit’s bullsh*t fabrication and lies to pacify his cult.

NO one that I know who is unemployed is eligible for unemployment and therefore, they have never been included in the figures, the government is ecstatic that they can not and will not be tracked or counted.

Big mistake to try to channel the Tea Party phenomenon into becoming just another formalized entity on the political spectrum. And a big mistake for Palin to try to become some sort of leader of a “Tea Party Movement.” Put these two mistakes together and Politico is right: the downside is a big risk for her. All formalized political entities in this country wind up having schisms which sidetrack them to a greater or lesser extent from their original purpose and cause aspiring leaders to be placed in unpleasant and counter-productive imbroglios.

Better for Palin to use her blog and tweets and other means of communication to encourage and support all tea partyiers in their anger at what is currently happening in Washington. Let the tea partyiers one by one take that anger into the voting booth in November and, through the fall of many office seekers and the emergence of others, put all the professional politicians on notice that the anger is out there and will burst forth again if they continue to screw around with the Constitution and put the rights and security of the People in jeopardy. Like the original affair in Boston Harbor, the Tea Party movement is simply a moment in time..an impetus, if you will. It will hopefully cause the ship of state to be righted so that we can return to the normal business of governance… but with one starkly renewed recognition: the People have awakened. They are watching much more closely now; and you had better not screw it up again. That is a lesson to be directed at Democrat and Republican politicians alike.

  14. Cathymac says:

I didn’t read Kevin’s article, but everything coming out of the convention is that the Tea Party movement is going to morph into a PAC and advocate conservative activism. No third party candidates and as for Sarah Palin – at this point she is being used as a taunt by people like Kevin that have a serious derangement syndrome.

Interesting article on what Ken Blackwell proposed when he ran for Chmn of the party:

Who are the 300 terrorists held in U.S. prisons?

“It’s a disingenuous argument,” says Kyl. “There haven’t been 300 high-profile, dangerous terrorism cases in the United States — if there were, we would have heard about them.”

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Who-are-the-300-terrorists-held-in-U_S_-prisons_-83588677.html

Holder is referring to the bitter people clinging to their guns and religion…..or maybe our veterans that napolitano labeled as dangerous domestic terrorists.

I heard that after the 9-12 March on DC, 1.4 million people were on their domestic terrorist list.

  16. Wolverine says:

Excellent article by Byron York. That has become a sort of hallmark of this administration. Throw out a number but do not include the details or proof. Then stall forever when you are asked to pony up the information. Imagine telling a U.S. Senator that Federal regulations prohibit passing to him a list of Federal prisoners. Washington has become an insane asylum.

  17. Kevin says:

“by people like Kevin that have a serious derangement syndrome”

    haha! That’s classic.

  18. Had Enough says:

In Missouri, they had Ron Paul and Pastor Chuck Baldwin on a terrorist watch list, these two domestic terrorists ran for president in 2008.

By labeling citizens as domestic terrorists they believe that they can take away their rights to own guns, etc.

There is more to this than meets the eye.

  20. squiddy says:

I think any attempt to “lead” the Tea Party movement is inevitably doomed to fail …

I recall my aunt getting very involved as a volunteer for Ross Perot – one day, they came to her with a list of wealthy individuals who she was supposed to call on, and convince to donate large sums of money, or high-end items, like yachts, aircraft, etc. She said “This is precisely what we’re fighting against; I didn’t join to become part of that establishment” and she quit on the spot.

When people try to organize, lead, (exploit) the Tea Party’ers, I predict the same thing.

There’ll be no end of charlatans trying to grab some power, or money, or both – Republicans should be careful not to be seen as trying to be any of that …
