Excellent write up Joe and really nice pictures, [REDACTED] is one photogenic lady! I agree with Stone – Mark and Betsy are such gracious people. It tells a lot about a man who is surrounded by so many friends that clearly respect and love him.

Mark’s strength is his Q&A answers is his ability to pinpoint the problem, give the basic facts and succinctly explain his proposed solution. My personal opinion is that in his various capacities in local law enforcement his ability to think on his feet is now completely natural. His training kicks in, pure and simple. His remarks on the current Sheriff were spot-on and I know he has the ability to lead the LCSO towards solutions of problems that have existed for far too many years.

I haven’t been to Middleburg in years and had forgotten how beautiful it is – great restaurants that I hope to visit one day soon with my husband.

Yes now it is time to sit at home with a nice quiche with tabasco sauce. Nice events, good people, we’ll have to do it all again sometime soon. By the way we have a lot of telegenic folks in this county and some are not even from the Stone family. Must be something in the water.

I am eating Oatmeal, sans the tabasco.

Enjoyed the Saturday chilly air in Middleburg. Most times I’m ever in Middleburg, I’m on my way to Upperville. It was nice to “hover” in the town and take in the local charm. I’ll second how great it was that Dennis came out to the event. We’ve corresponded for around 6 months, and this is the first time we’d met face-to-face.
Mark has a long history and tons of experience in Loudoun law enforcement. He’ll be a formidable force in the race.

I must agree with what everyone else has said. It was a lovely event, lovely setting, lovely food, with lovely people in a lovely little town. Mark knows what it takes to be our sheriff. He’ll do us proud in that job. We are so fortunate to have such high caliber people in this race, and the other races, people who are willing to put in the time and energy to run for an office where they are so very much needed by all of us Loudoun. I can’t thank you enough for the sacrifices that you all make.

Thanks to Dennis for coming all the out our way. He will an awesome supervisor in Fairfax. And thanks to all the other candidates who show up, all over the county, to support their fellow candidates. We have a GREAT bunch of candidates.

I look forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow to support Jim Plowman in his re-election and to support all of our republicans at the LCRC meeting. I am so proud to call you all my friends.

Sorry but these meet and greets are interfering with my gun shows. Maybe I’ll make one on the weekday when things aren’t so hectic. Good to see the turnouts but, hopefully, there will be more citizens in attendance than just the same political figures going to each others’ greet. Glad to see everyone on the “high” side for these candidates. Should be a banner election for conservatives.

Monk, I have a better camera. I just think he needs to ask for help rather than trying to be a one-man team. He does love it so but I feel he puts too much upon himself at times. Yes, Joe. This is a hint. Mama can only scold me so much and now that I can Swiffer more often, probably less so on the scolding.

I only help Joe on invitation. Besides, I was at a gunshow.

Ha! Hey ACT you should be coming to these things, they are enjoyable. I am sure everyone realizes that the “one man team” is 5 times more efficient than the 2 man team, 10 times more efficient than the 3 man and 20 times more efficient than the 4 man, so until I have a paycheck coming in again my time is going to be very taxed trying to come up with said paycheck and my leisure time is going to be very limited. So blogging with photos will remain a one man operation. But I do invite everyone to try it, once you have the knack it is quite simple.

When I got married, I learned to purchase and stash. Pulling it out in a month or two, I’ll get the inevitable question “Did you buy that?”… to which the truthful answer after two months of ownership , is: “No, honey – I’ve HAD THIS.”
