I hope everyone enjoys the Janet Clarke event tonight at Notaviva Vineyards in Purcellville! Feel free to report on that, or to talk about any darned thing that pops into your collective heads.

Woo doggie, glad I had to be at an indoor event tonight … We stood outside for a half hour and there was some serious wind chill happening.
Left the crew to their own devices, tonight, Joe. I’m tucked in by a warm fire.
It IS April, right?
Yeah, smart move. We must’ve lost 20 degrees from 5 till 7. Brrrr
Just to opine on another matter — Odds on Charlie Sheen just skyrocketed. Seems he was boo’d at his Detroit shindig after two minutes. Things not going well, and your clock is ticking in the sidebar. Reproduce that and sell it as a code to other bloggers.
What did people expect from a Charlie Sheen one-man show? People bought tickets thinking there was going to be an actual show and/or real talent on display and now they want their money back. No refunds for you!
I missed Janets event, I hope is was a success. I am sure it was.
There must be a way to devise a dual thread system on a blog, one part for those who want to discuss the issues without a lot of acrimony and noise and one for those more interested in gutter combat and settling old scores that no one else remembers. The blogmeister sets the rules (or lack thereof) for each part, and the poster selects one part or the other and is obliged to follow the rules. No cross-posting. Anybody who breaks the rules gets taken up to Great Falls and tossed in the river.
Very interesting suggestion, Wolve.
I suppose if the proprietor were to implement such a policy he would require en enforcer for general watchfulness and the occasional trip to Great Falls, someone not averse to taking a car ride after most folks are in for the night ….
I know some people, think Mr. Winston “The Wolfe” AKA the clean up expert.
Wolve, I’m with you. I’m trying hard not to engage those folks. When they attack my business, it will not be tolerated. Decent people with civility don’t engage in such tactics.
Sorry I missed Janet’s event.
I enjoy chatting with her husband, who is a very nice fellow.
Till next time….
Wolve, if you go back in this thread, no one brought up this frother’s business but himself. And this comment thread has still yet to get back to its original topic.
Written by Loudoun Insider about 1 day ago– Hey BPM, you calling me clueless, a liar, compromised ethically.
You brought it into the conversation right here. You lied about my calling you ethically compromised….when in fact I never said any such thing. I merely pointed out that YOU were the guilty party who, in fact, challenged MY ethics. Get your story straight. The posted comments I provided in that thread proved it.
This whole thing is making me change my mind about gun regulation.
LOL, this is like trying to scrape dog poop off the bottom of a tennis shoe. It keeps following you around no matter what you do.
OK, OK, none of this is any good without video. Someone has secretly recorded the Monk/LI in dialog:

Hahahahahahahahahahahahah.
SUPERB! – Rolling into bed laughing……….
Wolve, You take the shoe off.
Please BPM, you have called my integrity into question several times, including in regard to my volunteer service. Just get over it and don’t keep bringing it up and it will all go away. BO, funny, but don’t put me in twin category with this idiot. So, any luck on a real candidate for Leesburg yet???
BO – one of your better posts; now you get to change LI’s diaper.
We’ve got a Leesburg candidate. I suppose Vince must be thrilled with his new chances at working for more republicans in Loudoun, after you’ve torpedoed all of his prospective clients on his own website. Maybe he can still find work in Texas when you’re done.
RWN, I think LI is doing just fine with keeping himself clean. Now on the other hand the other character can’t seem to keep his sh** clean. And what falls out he keeps stepping in. And with that I agree with Wolverine. He needs some help. But please let’s not go there. Enough already.
I could care less about Vincent’s chance for working for anyone. I blog at TC but I do not work for Harris Media. He’s a big boy now and a very successful young businessman, he’ll do fine in Virginia, Texas, and elsewhere around the nation, as he has been doing. He does not need rinky dink Loudoun supervisor candidates, especailly one as lame as Ken Reid. Vincent has done more in politics than you and I combined in his short life, and he certainly doesn’t need the likes of you looking out for him.
My impress is Vince has very little interest in local politics. He works the national stage.
“Vincent has done more in politics than you and I combined in his short life”
Maybe your short political life. I’ve been working in politics since 1978. I didn’t “just show up in Loudoun”. Short of 4 years in the military, I’ve done work for a number of sitting congress-critters in DC for nearly 20 years before moving to Loudoun. All while holding a fulltime job, and travelling heavily.
