Won’t argue over terminology because it is beside the point. My greater point is that – because of the racial spoils system- Latinos do not (and will not in the foreseeable future) consider themselves to be white. What’s worse is that the racial agitating groups (La Raza, et al) encourage them to NOT assimilate. THAT is the biggest problem. So this group that you are calling ‘white’ are not a block at all, but in fact groups of competing cultures, feuding ethnic groups and clashing interests.

If you are ever in Los Angeles, take a drive through East LA or any other super barrio and tell me if you are in what would be thought of as a white neighborhood?

As far as “latinos” being native Americans-nope. They are of Spanish and Italian dissent. North and South America had originally Mongoloid ancestry that came by way of the Bering Strait. They are “Indians” by our term but Mongoloid by race. And they probably are of Chinese ancestry when you think about it. Don’t try to change history or science because it doesn’t meet to your “modern” standards.

With the racial spoils system that is in place currently here in the US, there is no incentive for Latinos to self-identify as ‘white’. Besides, most view the world in terms of ethnicity rather than race. Currently minorities are encouraged to band together to agitate for more privileges. This is ultimately unsustainable because the enormous influx of Hispanics, will convert (non-Hispanic) whites into another minority — but, uniquely, a minority that is supposed to pay for other minorities’ privileges. And I see no evidence that minorities will be willing to give up their traditional affirmative action privileges as they become majorities.

On another note, the “Caucasoid”, “Negroid” and “Mongoloid” classifications are way outdated. Who would consider a Native American and a person from China to be the same race? Additionally, many Latinos are indeed Native Americans. This is not to mention those of mixed race. This is why your logic of the 65% voting block is flawed.

Point: The Dems are ignoring the “immigrant community” they espouse to be working for since most recent immigrants are Caucasoid (followed by Mongoloid). Race only accounts when one member of the group above hates a DIFFERENT member of another group above. Bigotry is different as well as ethnicity. Dems don’t understand “racism” but they do throw the word around like rice at a wedding. By not catering to the “white working class vote”, Dems have eliminated probably 65% of the national voting block. This is not only stupid strategy but it shows a “prejudice” against a specific group and race of people. This isn’t racism but ignorance and why would we ever cater to ignorant people. This is what needs to be shown openly as to what the Democrat party is and stands for.

No one said “overthrow”. We are saying they want to fundamentally change it into something that we do not recognize. I am not even saying that they do not mean well. I just disagree vehemently with them. I just do not think that the utopia they are trying to set up will work. To the contrary, it will make things much worse…

Frankly, I don’t even know where to start and I certainly do not have the energy to deconstruct your “argument” piece by peice. Just like with your generalizations above, however, you have a very wrong idea of the world, college education, and liberals in general. Barb, the generalization came from GB’s inference that the educated white professionals on that list are not “married with children, hunters, gun owners, little league coaches, those with children in boy/girl scouts, small business owners, OR those that drive SUVs and/or pick up trucks.” I actually fit pretty much all of those categories except the gun owner and hunter (although I do fish quite a bit and I eat venison as well when my Bro-in-law takes a deer).

The African-American studies, Latino/Hispanic studies or even Women’s studies departments at universities across the US are radically anti-white – particularly white male – and teaching about ‘white privilege’ is a staple of such programs. Additionally, some of the biggest race baiters in the nation, such as Cornell West and Henry Louis Gates, are professors at Ivy League universities. (Well, Dr. West just quit Princeton)

Saddest part is that instead of teaching what it means to be AMERICAN, these young people (of all colors) are indoctrinated in how evil white men are. They are taught to be obsessed other identities: female, gay, black, Latino, “undocumented”, trans-sexual, and what have you. In New York, they have even established a school exclusively for GBTL called Harvey Milk High School.

I personally first ran into this thinking about 6-7 years ago when I got into an argument with a Georgetown law student that got angry when I said that he was ‘white’ (he was Irish). He told me that ‘white’ was an evil designation and symbolized oppression and that he refused to identify as such. As the years passed, I met others that while not as extreme as he was, but had similar thoughts. Look up the term ‘white privilege’ and you will see many blogs and websites written by self hating whites – many of whom are university professors.

For them, the US as we have known it must be dismantled piece by piece and remade into a “more just” nation that is free of racism, homophobia, sexism, capitalism, etc. This is why they constantly attack the institutions and values that made this country great. For to believe that George Washington, for example, was a great man is to implicitly endorse all the ‘isms I just mentioned.

The irony of their theory is that it will lead to MORE racial division because of the racial spoils system they advocate (see: California). The other irony is that those that the fat cat liberals that advocate soft illegal immigration policies (for example) would NEVER want to live in a community filled with them, yet they quickly point their finger at those who fight them and shout “RACIST”. These same people claim to love “diversity”, yet they send their children to a private school that is 90% white. Traditionally most of it has been posturing by liberal whites to maintain their morally superior status over conservative whites.
