These intersections all need improvements. When they put that stupid barrier up along 7 east for turning onto Sterling Blvd, they should have built a concrete median right turn only lane. One out of 5 cars in the lane turn right but the backup goes all the way to Outback. I used Augusta heading east on 7 to see the grandbabies perform at Dominian HS last weekend. It took 3 lights before I could turn left and I was in the fast lane for 2 of those. Backup for that was also well west of Potomac View. About half the cars making the turn were for the shopping center or going home. This is a very congested area and way past due for improvements. The only downside is we can do nothing about the choke point that starts at Rolling Holly Dr. and it doesn’t seem that FFX really gives a damn about their traffic. After all, that is what the FFX parkway was suppose to resolve. I wonder if they’ll start doing odd/even for driving like Carter did for gasoline.
