Post-convention bounce with a mere 23% sampling of Republicans ….and in the same poll, a generous 33% democrat sampling.
The most interesting thing is this….Independents favor Romney 54% to Obama’s smaller percentage.

Nope….I CLEARLY said (and we all wish you’d comment on what you actually read– unless you have a reading comprehension problem) that Liberals hiding behind the skirts of the independents (because they really don’t like to be called that) are like cockroaches.

I’m a conservative….and I’m damned proud of it, good times or bad. I wish those among us who are spewing their liberal drivel from behind “independent” stances had the spines to do it as liberals. Watch my warning…..when Obama loses, they will turn on him too. It’s about saving liberalism….not Obama.

CMac, I didn’t call into question this blog. I said Joe B attracted my attention and it’s now become a habit. You get so exercised over my posts you are reading things into them that aren’t there. Probably better if you just ignore them.

ACT mission accomplished on your stated goal of your efforts with this blog. I blog for many of reasons you do. But I don’t take them as seriously as wanting to build a bomb shelter over what I read here or elsewhere.

Wolverine, I have two flag pennants on my car right now, and I never put stuff on my car. One is a Redskin’s pennant and the other is a Nationals. You are so right; moral is up in the city. Lots of Nats bling and lots of Redskins bling. Especially RGIII stuff. Fun to finally be cheering for the hometown and having them win.

Cmac, I’m not affected by those posting here. This blog is for entertainment purposes. I glean enlightenment at times as I hope others do. Blogs give a chance for expression and I welcome all opinions. What I derive from the comments are a pulse and light to the soul of this community, county, state, nation and world. I learn about PEOPLE-not issues- which is MY intent and find that it isn’t the statements that bother me or are scary but the mindset. Chess and Stratego are games. This blog as others are “eye openers”. What I read here allows me to prep for the future and the protection of my family. Reading NVTH is a look into the near future and that future is questionable, as it affects my life, from where I sit. A lot of misguided and angry people out there and it appears at this time that a survivalist mentality is within order.

Breaking news, candidates need all of our votes. Factions in both parties peel off all the time. I just read (can’t remember the publication) that roughly 2% of the evangelicals stayed home in 2008, I’d love to know how this impacted the swing states.

Each person’s vote only counts once (except for Chicago and about a dozen other cities) – Indpendents don’t count more. The base has to turn out and sometimes they don’t. These votes are just as important as the self glorified Independents.

Act – you have nothing to apologize for. BO’s tactic of showing up on NVTH with both barrels blazing then back pedaling, then calling into the question the validity of the blog is quite simply – tiring. As Wolv indicated – it’s a game of BO’s. It is like a child that very much wants attention, positive or negative.

Yes, BE, I already did the math. I don’t “need” anyone but my family and fajth. The parties need the Ind. I was tryjng to show you that nothing more than ignorance is what will send us over the cliff. Lack of a quality (un-biased) education is, in essence, the main issue for America. It is absolutely necessary to survive as a nation–just like breathing air.

btw-if you were trying to hurt my feelings, I’ve already told you that you have to have feelings to hurt one. And here I thought we were bonding after all these many years. I just don’t have the suttilties that Joe and Wolve have but I continue to practice more evry day, if you can recall how rabidly passionate I used to be (in the archives). I am trying and sorry you’re so disappointed in my efforts. And life goes on.
