Watch this thing. Now there are those posters here that can’t “read” what is being said and will spin it as favorable to the president as Juan Williams does. And some news people are getting pretty tired of Juan’s “un-biased” water carrying for the pres also. Now I am trying to understand why these people think that in order to pander correctly, you must speak to your audience in a tone or dialect that caters to their heritage/ethnicity. Obama’s speech is said to have a “preacher’s tone” in its giving. I see it as either a “slavish” or “gutteral” talk which I feel is very demeaning when a person doesn’t normally talk that way. When you talk to someone who doesn’t understand you, you change the wording-not the tone. When you talk to someone hard of hearing, you anunciate-not yell. This is truly a bottom fishers technique. Remember Hillary? How about Al Gore? I talk how I talk and that is how people “know” me. I don’t want to be part of your “group” other than a human being.

Now this stuff may work for the feable minded (Heaven kmows we got plenty of those people walking around loose) but it is nothing more than the “dumbing down” of a people or society as a whole. The object of life and what happens in it is to ELEVATE–NOT REGRESS to a more primitive form. I find the speech offensive, personally. Then again, I find most of what Obama says, does and is, offensive. Will it make a difference in the upcoming election? Not to those who are already aware but it might sway just a few people who are tired of being talked down to and treated as ignorant cattle for the liberal will. Can’t say for sure but I wonder if all that is coming to the surface now would have made a difference back in 2008? I am willing to say it wouldn’t because regardless of anything Obama said or did, a fad/magic moment was in play and those who voted him in had their collective heads up their collective asses. My take.
