"As Satchmo said...."? But, wait, I thought Satchmo was a figment of.......oh, forget it. Even having a scorecard doesn't help you to keep the other side straight. Those must be some very interesting hate-Delgaudio strategy sessions. How do you break the tie votes? And what happens if Satchmo wants out of the whole crazy thing?

Well Delgaudio did not recuse himself from the aide topic in committee. Nor was he asked to. In fact, it appears he spent a good deal of the committee's time posturing his defense. Is anyone in charge over there in Leesburg? This is the fox in the hen house. As Satchmo said having Delgaudio part of the aide issue is like hiring Kaufman as a consultant to draft a fix for the Assessor's office. Ridiculous.

Well Wolverine, there you go again, it's all about me and Satchmo. Plenty of facts revealed in this situation to debate and discuss. I find it very compelling that no one is defending Delgaudio on the recent revelations. Best to make it personal about others. Ignore the obvious.

BO, 3 days ago: "Anyone care to comment about the Delgaudio cover-up?"

BO, 3 days ago: "Well, Barbara, I agree we don't ACTUALLY know [there] has been a cover up."

BO, 53 minutes ago: "Who is behind the cover-up? Is it Delgaudio, York, Clarke, Plowman, or some combination of them all?"

I do wish that BO, Satchmo, and Swiss Kriss would make up their collective minds.

BO -- You are the only pontificator here. I don't presume to know the facts of the case and cannot comment with any accuracy. On the other hand, that never seems to stop you from playing prosecutor, judge, and jury even while admitting at the same time that you don't know any of the pertinent answers. And you ask why it is about you?!!

BO, Satchmo, Swiss Kriss.... bizarro.

Again, Wolverine why is it always about me? Diversion?

Care to comment on the recent Arl CA's comment that she didn't get all the documents before making a judgement on the potential criminal charges towards Delgaudio? Care to pontificate on what happened to those documents? Who buried them? Who is behind this cover-up? Is it Delgaudio, York, Clarke, Plowman, or some combination of them all?

Further, any word on if Delgaudio recused himself today?

Wolverine, I have said before I use the Satchmo moniker on news outlets. No surprise there. You won't see BlackOut (from me) on those forums.

BTW, I made a heartfelt promise to LL back before Black won his campaign. If Black lost I would drop the BlackOut moniker. Oh well, opportunity lost. Someday I will retire it and go full steam towards Satchmo. Which I prefer by the way. Swiss Kriss for all my friends.

"...recused himself during the Finance Committee Meeting?" How odd. Satchmo asked the very same question on Ashburn Patch. I wonder if that is how they count the anti-Delgaudio crowd...BO one...Satchmo two....

Strange group, those Delgaudio haters.....

Oh, once again I see we are talking about me and not the recent revelations that all the documents weren't turned over to the CAs office. Boy that's awkward. Sure will be interesting to see who got their hands on that evidence. I am betting Delgaudio was presented them for comment behind closed doors. That's what a hug gets ya. I guess the criminal investigation can be re-opened. Don't you?

Did anyone here if Delgaudio recused himself during the Finance Committee meeting?

squiddy, I am impressed you think the opposition against Delgaudio is so well funded, amazing what grassroots will do. Frankly, I haven't spent a dime, neither have other detractors. When Delgaudio goes down it will be because he has been adequately exposed and he slipped on his flim-flam. It's encouraging that some of this stuff is going to cost him cash. The SPLC thing could cost him a lot of cash. I am optimistic on that one.

squiddy, my naive friend, don't you realize that that scenario will never come to pass? When Eugene retires, they will just use him as an excuse going forward for why the county is so screwed up in their view. Kinda like Obama and Bush.

The "hug" was as appropriate for a thank you as I have seen. Seems to be the new "man thing" going on these days. You know, all that homosexual understanding ldeology that spills over in our daily lives. I guess that Manchurian candidate thing is working well.

As with me calling it what I will--I also try to speak through your ideology and terms so that we are on the same page. Thing is, you always seem to turn to the back of the book and throw me off. You are as complex as most women in relation to understanding so I mjst assume that your estrogen level is just too damn high at this point. Try watching some John Wayne movies for a while and I think that might bring it down some.

Why do I get the idea that, if ED retires from politics 10 or 20 years from now, BO and company will be dancing in the streets, perhaps literally, claiming credit for having driven ED from politics, and how the thousands of dollars and thousands of hours they spent smearing, uh, "exposing" him won't have been in vain?

Whatever gives your life meaning, I guess ...

You can call it what you want ACT, it's not a scientific number. Regardless aren't you impressed with how loud and annoying the "fringe group" is to Delgaudio. You wait, one day we are going to see a colossal public meltdown by Mr. ED. It promises to be epic.

By the way, did you think the world wasn't such a safe place after York gave Delgaudio that big hug? Just wondering.

Don't count on it, BE. No one recuses themselves from anything anymore. Again, hundreds in the county compared to the population of the county is like what......one tenth of one percent? Wouldn't this be labeled as the "fringe group"?

ACT, I am sure there are those who detest Delgaduio within his district. The hundreds I reference are in Loudoun County. Delgaudio effects them too he's voting on issues that effect the entire county. Now outside of Loudoun I could easily see the number in the thousands.

BTW, it sure will be interesting to hear if Delgaudio recuses himself from the Finance Committee discussion on Aide Ethical Guidelines in today's meeting. The one that was spawned because of the Delgaudio case.
