Sometimes I just don’t understand these Rebs. He tells me that Kentucky is for sale at my local pharmacy. Do those Rebs use Wild Turkey for………no, couldn’t be, no way, not even the Border troops……Yeesh!!! No wonder Stonewall moved so darned fast around the Valley!

At 8 o’clock tonight you can soothe you souls by listening to Julie Andrews hosting the broadcast of the Vienna Philharmonic’s holiday concert. Wonderful Viennese waltzes, marches, gallops…. A fine way to end the first day of this year. Enjoy!

(I think it is the next stage of the great gadget plot–once we are addicted, then comes the built-in fail. Some of these HAVE to be built in; the machine can only do what someone has told it to, right? )

Barbara, I’ve seen that. It is not that these gadgets are smarter–it is that they are sneaky and more mischievous. I’m going to get one of those talk/type thingies and let it go head-to-head with the auto-correct on this touchpad. At least my fingers will feel better by not having to do 4 times the work in backspace and correction.
