50 years ago Martin Luther King Jr. came to Washington DC, and on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, made a speech that enlightened people of all color and changed the lives of Negroes forever…………or did it? From the democrat slave owners of the time (the Kennedys were watching him because he was a radical trouble maker) to the democrat slave owners of today, has there been progress or recession? More Negroes are jobless then before, living on government assistance and/or by illegal means. Single parent homes are the norm. The “preachers” of the black community (they don’t seem to be much for spokesmen of GOD) continue to preach hate and division and injustice. To what end? For their own benefits of course. The NAACP? They helped put on this show 50 years later, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Was it meant to bring unity? Go out there and listen to the speeches yourselves and make your own determination. Not only do I think it was about self aggrandizement but also a sham on all blacks. There was no unity at this event because they forgot to invite republicans or conservatives of any color. That must have forgotten that MLK Jr. was a republican.
