Where you are held accountable for your convictions and record

Some of the younger generation has a clue. This pretty much covers all bases.

CAUTION: Language gets explicate.

Is Donald Trump the perfect candidate? No. But he is the best option we will have in November. If either Sec. Clinton or Sen. Sanders wins in November, they would appoint progs to the Supreme Court. Justice Ginsburg is 83, and will probably retire within the next few years. Justice Kennedy is 79, and Justice Breyer is 77. The next president may have the opportunity to appoint four Supremes.

We cannot allow a President Clinton or a President Sanders to make those appointments.

After learning that his father was associating with Lee Harvey Oswald, Ted Cruz finally came to the realization that Don “the pied piper” Trump and his hoard of lemmings will never see, learn or understand what the truth is. I guess it could be worse and we could end up with John McCain……well, we pretty much did.

You Trump supporters got what you wanted, whatever that may be. Trump was a great beginning in which he shook up the establishment and got them scared. This was the perfect storm to get a true conservative nominated for and, for the most part, win an election for the GOP and rebuild America. That didn’t happen for a bunch of reasons: a GOP that hates conservatives, too many candidates in the field for too long, political lies, ugliness and shenanigans, emotional response over rational response and so on. I was told that I am too cerebral about this. Maybe but what is going on here is obvious. A corrupt and self serving GOP will sink this candidate to retain their power and standing. If this candidate is elected, he will not fulfill about 85% of what he said he will do. Trump is a money man and he will deal so that corporate America and HIS BUSINESS win. The rest of us…..not so much. Very little in fact. And because he is such a weak candidate, against 2 Dem weak, corrupt, unAmerican candidates, he could very well lose.

So what will us Americans end up with? I don’t see a bright future. More government, more filth and tolerance in society, less freedom, less money and less hope. I believe it is time for a true Conservative party since the GOP is totally lost (Scout can keep it). Maybe someday this country can be reclaimed from the trash. Maybe not. We sure have shaken up the GOP but to what end we shall soon see. Trump, Sanders and Clinton all have ugly pasts and presents for that matter. This isn’t about sour grapes because I believe in what’s best for YOU in spite of how you see things. Hope I am wrong but if I am not, I will never come back and say “I told you so”. I’m sure you will have that deer-in-the-headlights look while asking yourself “what happened” and I’m sure you’ll figure it out on your own. I only hope that if Trump wins that he nominates Cruz to the SCOTUS. That would be a consolation prize we can all live with. That is, if he can get approved by Congress. Sure has been a lot of hate in this government and this political process. ACTivist out!

Which is why Gov. McAwful issued an executive order allowing ex-cons to vote. He knows that ex-cons will vote for demonrats because ex-cons have a history of making bad decisions.

That Gov. McAwful has not fulfilled his constitutional obligations in this matter does not matter to progs — laws and constitutions never matter to progs. That’s why criminals are progs.

Let’s look at thelaw as it pertains to the normal way voting rights are restored:

§ 53.1-231.2. Restoration of the civil right to be eligible to register to vote to certain persons.
Bills amending this Section
This section shall apply to any person who is not a qualified voter because of a felony conviction, who seeks to have his right to register to vote restored and become eligible to register to vote, and who meets the conditions and requirements set out in this section.

Any person, other than a person (i) convicted of a violent felony as defined in § 19.2-297.1 or in subsection C of § 17.1-805 and any crime ancillary thereto, (ii) convicted of a felony pursuant to §§ 18.2-248, 18.2-248.01, 18.2-248.1, 18.2-255, 18.2-255.2 or § 18.2-258.02, or (iii) convicted of a felony pursuant to § 24.2-1016, may petition the circuit court of the county or city in which he was convicted of a felony, or the circuit court of the county or city in which he presently resides, for restoration of his civil right to be eligible to register to vote through the process set out in this section. On such petition, the court may approve the petition for restoration to the person of his right if the court is satisfied from the evidence presented that the petitioner has completed, five or more years previously, service of any sentence and any modification of sentence including probation, parole, and suspension of sentence; that the petitioner has demonstrated civic responsibility through community or comparable service; and that the petitioner has been free from criminal convictions, excluding traffic infractions, for the same period.

If the court approves the petition, it shall so state in an order, provide a copy of the order to the petitioner, and transmit its order to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The order shall state that the petitioner’s right to be eligible to register to vote may be restored by the date that is 90 days after the date of the order, subject to the approval or denial of restoration of that right by the Governor. The Secretary of the Commonwealth shall transmit the order to the Governor who may grant or deny the petition for restoration of the right to be eligible to register to vote approved by the court order. The Secretary of the Commonwealth shall send, within 90 days of the date of the order, to the petitioner at the address stated on the court’s order, a certificate of restoration of that right or notice that the Governor has denied the restoration of that right. The Governor’s denial of a petition for the restoration of voting rights shall be a final decision and the petitioner shall have no right of appeal. The Secretary shall notify the court and the State Board of Elections in each case of the restoration of the right or denial of restoration by the Governor.

On receipt of the certificate of restoration of the right to register to vote from the Secretary of the Commonwealth, the petitioner, who is otherwise a qualified voter, shall become eligible to register to vote.

This is the normal process, which the governor is circumventing.

The governor is relying on Article V, Section 12, of the Virginia Constitution:

Article V. Executive
Section 12. Executive clemency
The Governor shall have power to remit fines and penalties under such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by law; to grant reprieves and pardons after conviction except when the prosecution has been carried on by the House of Delegates; to remove political disabilities consequent upon conviction for offenses committed prior or subsequent to the adoption of this Constitution; and to commute capital punishment.

He shall communicate to the General Assembly, at each regular session, particulars of every case of fine or penalty remitted, of reprieve or pardon granted, and of punishment commuted, with his reasons for remitting, granting, or commuting the same.

I look forward to hearing the governor explain the particulars of each of those 200,000 cases.

Trump is a smart guy. He tells us so everyday. He surrounds himself with smart people to run his campaign. Cruz learned the rules and played the game by them in Colorado. Trump got caught with his pants down and cries foul. Mostly he just cries. The process isn’t rigged as of yet but Trump doesn’t know what the rules are so he just blames and cries. But Trump is very smart and so are the people around him. Do you really think it will be ANY DIFFERENT if he is President? It won’t be fair then either, I guess. What a sniveling little baby this guy is. But he is smart.

Can anyone tell me what that means? Yes, I am watching Trump on suck-up Hannity. Trump only likes Hannity because everyone else are mean to Trump. But all I can hear is this:
“I’ll build the wall on the border. It will be a beautiful wall, and you know I can build beautiful things, and Mexico will pay for it.”

“I will bring jobs back to America. It will be a beautiful thing. And there will be jobs. It will be beautiful.”

“I’ll get rid of Obamacare and we will promote competition for healthcare. It will be a beautiful thing.”

“China, Japan and Mexico are taking our jobs. They are creating an unfair trade deficit and I will stop that.”

“I am ahead in the polls. These other guys should get out. People love me and it’s a beautiful thing. I loves these people. I love the smart people. I love the not smart people. I love the Latinos. It’s a beautiful thing.”

There was more of the same and it was a beautiful thing. Not like listening to “lying Ted” who was on earlier. All he did the whole interview was talk about substance. He talked plans and point by point how to make things happen. He acted so adult and knowledgable. It was all very presidential and boring like.

“Little Marco” will come on at bedtime and I really don’t need to hear about Trump’s anatomy or how he is the only one that can beat Trump and Hillary. He did win in the state of Puerto Rico.

Who? Me worry? I’ve had to focus on a family surgery for two weeks and all I hear about is these politics and how beautiful things will be. Hope and Change, right? I understand that people are upset. What I do is see and reason things out. I am looking out for all Americans, not what is in it for me. I am amazed and disgusted with all these clueless people who, with a glazed stare, follow a Socialist to further corrupt our founding. People who refuse the truth about a person so corrupt and disgusting that they would vote for her even if she served a Presidential term in prison. Could you imagine having state visits and dinners in the cafeteria of Leavenworth prison? At least it would cut way back on the costs of using Air Force One. People who will vote for a comb-over without substance just because “everything will be beautiful”. Yes, I have avoided a post. What can I say that anyone will hear? Evidentially no one has been listening. When this process is over I’ll probably write about night vision scopes, canning food, building bomb shelters, how to spot jihadis, and things like that. Maybe I will talk about a new political party for conservatives only. Don’t know yet but this stuff now is scaring me, as well it should you.

If you missed the last GOP debate, they are still showing re-runs. Regardless, Trump has really shown over the last couple of weeks how important, special, self centered, egotistical, blah, blah, blah, he is. In an interview with Bret Baier, Trump addressed the issue with his foul mouth at rallies. He stated that that would change when it got closer to him being elected. That it would not be a problem because HE CAN CHANGE AND BE ANYTHING HE WANTS TO. Hmmm. That doesn’t sound good, does it? Then he gets to the last debate and starts trashing G. w. Bush about invading Iraq, knowing there were no WMD’s, and that the 9-11 attacks were because Bush wasn’t keeping us safe. You know, we already dispelled those myths and proved where the change of events and faults lie. I guess Trump wasn’t listening; mainly because he was a devout Dem at the time and, apparently still is. Zebras can’t change their stripes. After the debate, Trump made a comment about all the booing he was getting while trashing G. W.. Know what he said? He stated that the pledge he signed was a two edge thing where he could run another party and that Rense Priebus should be fired. Don’t say you weren’t warned about this knucklehead Trump.

We went through this crap with Obama. Obama hung himself many times over in his first year and what happened? He got re-elected. Sanders, a devout Socialist, listed as an Independent, is running for President on the Dem side, and he is getting strong support. Hillbilly, who should be in jail or worse, still has a massive following. What does this all mean? People are still sheep. Voters are not doing their homework and this country is going to hell in a hand basket with people’s eyes wide open. What needs to happen to change all this and put things in their proper order?
1) Make Sanders run under the Independent ticket.
2) Kick Trump off the GOP ticket and let him run with one of the other parties or, better yet, let him run under the Trump party banner.
3) Have the GOP coalesce around all members (conservatives, moderates and establishment)–just no RINOs like McCain, Trump, et.al.
4) Do your homework and vote. DO NOT SIT AT HOME AND HOLD YOUR NOSE!!!!
When a conservative wins, abolish the NEA, make it mandatory to learn every aspect of the Constitution and give free one-way tickets to anyone that wants a different democracy than what America stands for. There are plenty of countries out there with the ideology these idiots are trying to inflict on us and, while we are at it, ex-patriate these fools so that they can no longer call our Republic “home”. While we are at it, teach skills to re-train individuals how to obtain and utilize common sense. Yes, I know I am barking at the moon here but, then again, I ain’t fooled by Trump either. Silly rabbit!
