Where you are held accountable for your convictions and record

Here’s what is happening. The progressive Democrats (not sure if that would be an oxymoron, double negative or just redundant) are vying for the 86th and 87th districts next election. They feel since these districts carried Obama and Kaine, that the stupidity should continue with their candidates. Look at all these new organizations/initiatives being thrown at voters. They always seem to use catchy names or acronyms. I think the Purple to Blue is most telling but should be renamed “Purple bruise turns Black and Blue. More appropriate, don’t you think?

Then you have the 15 year old, learners permit, Ashburn teen who mowed down 3 innocent children while they played in their driveway. Or was this just an accident from a nervous learner? Why didn’t the licensed parent intervene? Being as driving is but a PRIVILEGE, why aren’t specially vehicles and certified instructors mandatory for this process, like what anti-gunners want to do with RIGHTS?

Speaking of gun rights, the LCBOS not only snubbed their noses at the Council of Governments but got Frederick Co. and Fairfax City to follow suit. Who said the BOS didn’t have balls? Well, I mean, some of them are female, of course. But, you know what I’m talking about.

Speaking of licenses, Gov. McDonnell signed into law a bill where a photo ID is now required to vote. The howling from those sniveling progressives is deafening. ” Some people don’t have photo ID’s”. Okay, a photo ID is available from the state to anyone free of charge. “This just suppresses voters from going to the polls”. You whiney assholes. If you were willing to collect their dead asses and take them to the polls, you should be still willing to take them to get their FREE photo ID’s. Just more diversionary howlings in my mind.

Those in the know will look at this picture and scratch their heads. I won’t tell you what I see wrong. Rather, I want you to tell me what YOU see wrong. Regardless the article, this isn’t about sequestration or anything to do with lack of funding. I will give you a couple of easy hints: there are between 11 and 14 active nuclear carriers in the fleet and this appears to have happened because Congress wouldn’t confirm Hagel as Sec. of Defense, and Obama was left without one at the time (so he tells us).

There’s a new TV show called “The Americans” and it is about spying during the Cold War around the early 80’s. The premise is that the Soviet Union planted individuals and cells within the U.S. that look, act and talk just like normal Americans and they are activated to do nefarious things to aid the Motherland. Well, cells and individuals of those type still exist, with many countries hosting the endeavors. What makes it easy for them to do their business is how we deem the word “normal”.

Gambling used to be done at the track, a friendly street dice game, cards at some back room. Now there are higher stake illegal games as well certified casinos for gambling. Prostitution use to be on street corners, bars and “Miss B’s tea emporium”. Not anymore. Mustang ranches, sanctioned as a business by state, and escort services are the norm now. We help when people ask for a favor because we have a sense of usefulness. Not the bum on the corner you give change to but, say, a neighbor that needs computer guidance, or a co-worker that doesn’t know how to do an access or work around. Maybe just giving hints and information on how they can do what they are telling you they need done. Helping is also hiring that illegal. We seem to have an affinity to espouse what we know and show ourselves as being “important” or “special” when it comes to conversing with that really friendly and great guy at the bar or sporting event. You ask, “What are you on about, ACT”. Everyone of these habits is a primary site for extortion and blackmail and they are used with great frequency.

The issue with illegal immigration is before us and the government is trying to work out a fair remake o the system. They are even harboring the idea to give green cards to those who graduate higher degrees in specific fields after they are educated here. Big deal, you say? Most spying is condoned from the campus. After all, school kids ain’t too bright when it comes to maturity and security. And then we want to place these higher degrees into forefront technologies. Where in all this did we ask where their allegiance lies? Where is the background checks on foreign nationals (which is a really stupid question since that information would come from that national’s country of origin and would be what ever that country wanted us to believe). Why is there not polygraph checks done on ANY basis for sensitive jobs in corporate America (not just the government contract side of the house)? Why has America become so lax that they don’t understand the term “just shut up”?

The government has been warned from both the inside and outside of the threat and occurrance of theft of our most valued property but they still show a hesitancy to expedite a solution. As with my cyber post, here they talk more of what they intend to do. Talk. Meanwhile, everyday there are more occurrences of theft and subterfuge. Here are some past cases just linked to China but too many other countries are in on this game. How can we afford such blind trust anymore. The answer is—we can’t.

When the U.S. is involved in a war, our military takes priority for essentials. When these wars escalate, sometimes there becomes a temporary shortage of items in the civilian market. Much is the case with ammunition. Most casings used for our shooting/self defense revolve around brass. I have always been a proponent of steel casings in war zones since we rarely police our brass and it drives the cost of things up where that metal is used. We have seen a scarcity of ammunition before and it becomes sometimes difficult to keep up firearm proficiency when the market is depleted. But what is going on with the government?

The government buys ammunition through different departments that WE pay for. It tried to abolish selling used brass to vendors and would crush the casings instead. The backlash from the civilian vendors and the loss of business and employment turned things around and the status quo was upheld. This was a scheme from the “gun-banners” trying a backdoor approach to disarmament. It has been discussed recently about “taxing” these rounds and background checks on ammunition purposes to, again, move in a direction of disarmament. But wait. Remember I just told you about war escalation and shortages for civilians? Our government is on another spending spree, this time for stockpiling ammunition. The Washington Coposte explains it away “off the cuff” but for some reason, the math doesn’t add up. If for training and practice purposes they use only 15 million rounds a year, in ten years that would be 150 million rounds. Yet they say they have purchase on 750 million rounds, which is well short of the 1.6 BILLION rounds on order. That would train there agents for well over 100 years where everyone else would be using handheld rail guns or phasers. Sorry, I don’t buy it.

The Social Security administration needs ammo too. Why? As Ed might say, “how can guns give you a sense of social security” and if he did really think this way, he would still be wrong. But why does that agency need ammo? To shoot perps who steal SSA checks from old ladies mailboxes? I smell rotting fish. Then again, I think this article is just a wee bit over the top. But, hey, I’ve been wrong before. And why blackout parts of the contract? What story is being hidden here? How about NOAA and the IRS? Ammunition to put beached baby harp seals out of their misery? For shooting killer tornadoes? The IRS is hiring 10,000 new personnel to steal directly from your banks accounts in order for you to have mandatory health-care. Is the ammunition for those agents who must go to your house and capture your mattress monies because you closed your bank accounts?

I could have fun with this all day but when you add in items that tend to turn these organizations into pseudo para-military types, my red flag is up. What the hell scares these people so? Surely they aren’t training for an armed insurrection of the citizens, are they? Shoot, that would be unpatriotic and treasonous of the citizens, per one of the bloggers here. Still, it has to send a cold chill down your spine wondering what’s it all about Alfie?

I will post 3 scary issues facing us today. One I am very familiar with. You can pick and choose which one scares you the most. All 3 worry me greatly.

Iran is a terrorist nation. It is building a nuclear device and is aided in both its refining of nuclear material and rocketry by another terrorist nation, North Korea. Both hate the U.S. and feel our government weak. Not a good thing. Sanctions aren’t working to the point they should because these nation’s governments aren’t too concerned about their people as they are about their standing in the world. That is a very bad thing. And what about the UN? Thugs LLC are very much part of the problem as being an inept body of thieves and “feel gooders”.

First, peruse this article about Obama’s feelings on nuclear arsenals, which appears to be a naive notion at best on his part (this is where strong, understanding cabinet positions count; not like minded lackeys). Then you have something on how the supreme authority in Iran views things. As he says, he’s a revolutionary. So was Che Guevara but not to the extreme of this guy. Then there is North Korea. It has its “eye on the prize” from whatever viewpoint it sees it. Read this article here and then hear what the little dictator who would be supreme ruler here (he is vying for the same position as Obama).

Now there are many more articles you can find but the bottom line will be the same–there is a current escalation of nuclear arsenals and countries, all being more than just “saber rattling”. The world has become that much more dangerous and you shouldn’t be worried about health-care, minimum wage or immigration at this time. The ante has been raised too high to ignore the seriousness of the game anymore.

First they have an Arab Spring that commences into riots in the streets and an over-throw of Mubarak. Then they have what is their version of a democratic election and elect a radical Islamist and the sharia Muslim Brotherhood. President Obama immediately speaks up to welcome our new partners in democracy and how the world is right once more. Alas, the military refuses to give full control to Morsi until some things are straightened out. The people revolt. Morsi gains full control and the people rejoice. Morsi condemns Israel and helps align Egypt with its Arab neighbors Syria and Iran. Morsi helps Hamas get weapons to Gaza. Morsi wants American dollars cause his economy is in the crapper. Hamas attacks Israel. Israel finally retaliates and Hamas plays the victim. SOS Clinton brokers deal for peace with Morsi for money and aid to the Palestinians. Obama is pleased once again and all is right with the world. Morsi, immediately after brokering peace removes power from the courts of Egypt and becomes supreme dictator. Egyptians riot. All is not good with our brethren in Egypt. Obama is silent.

What will happen is a military coup of Morsi and then military rule until someone tells the Egyptian people how democracy works. It will probably be Obama again (I have the strange feeling he helped in the first elections and that is why it looks like it does…..kinda like it looks here in the US) so that all will be right in the world. Except Egypt is NOT or friend or ally, there is no democracy and the Middle East is heating up once again. Some of this is distraction since Iran is still working on that bomb. Obama can only focus on one fire at a time and all the forests seem to be burning simultaneously. Where is Israel in all this? Wishing that they had a friend to cover their back. I’m sure they feel pretty alone in the world right now. And what is Obama’s strategy? Good question. Let me know when you figure it out. Hopefully before Farsi becomes our primary language.

When I pulled into Starbucks to work this blog, I was made aware of a conversation going on in some Arabic language. The table near my vehicle had 4 middle eastern individuals having some type of heated and focused conversation. Since I don’t speak the lingo, I tried to ignore it. After about 15 minutes, a car pulled up and the gentlemen stood in unison. They shook hands with each other except with one individual, who they all decided to kiss and hug in turn. I tried to size up the relationship as this kiss and hug was more that “see you later”. More like “see you in the next life-save me a virgin”. If they all had kissed and hugged each other OR not kissed and hugged at all I would have not given it a second thought. The 3 men got into the waiting car and drove off. The kiss-and-hug recepient got into another vehicle and SPED away.

I kmow European, some Asian and some Middle Eastern customs of greeting and affection. This one seemed out of place and made me leary. I am watching the news for anything that may relate to this scene I observed. Maybe I have just become more aware since this “spring” movement has come kmocking on America’s door. There may be nothing to it but I did have my “Juan Williams” moment. I’m just not feeling as safe as I used to be. Is this a sign of the times for us?
