Woes In NYC

Seems that a great humanitarian doctor has caused just a little stir in NYC. A “doctor without borders” ( sounds like a tree huger without common sense) has come back after a month of aiding Ebola victims in West Africa. And he self monitored right up to the point of 103 degree temperature. Too bad he didn’t self quarantine instead. Yet to see how this will turn out and what fellow NYers REALLY feel about him. Oh, and the Dem parrot governor and the Dem parrot mayor say there is nothing to worry about and that everything is under control. Right!

Under control would be this Islamic psycho from California (another liberal state transplant) who decides to attack police with a hatchet. Recent convert to Islam? Of course, but we won’t mention that. This rides on the heels of another whacko Islam convert in Canada who tried to kill members of their parliament. I don’t know how much Canadians like their members of Parliament but I wish these lefty or Islamic terrorists would do us a favor and at least take out some of the US parliament members. Two birds with one stone as it were. We do these guys want to do harm to civilians who have no control over affairs that bring anger to terrorists? I don’t get it.

For years, there has been a poster here, sending out the alarm about Muslim extremists living among us and how the intent was to turn America towards Islam. It has been happening in Europe for many years now and the troubles have compounded to the breaking point. This poster was scoffed at and dismissed as a “nutjob”. I know the detractors would never apologize for not giving her legitimacy, but I would hope that you may start to re-think the warning and heed the current signs.

So what is going on? Seems that ISIS has created some type of allure to weak minded/non-directed individuals. So they decide to upturn their “normal” lives and go to help the cause. This probably could have been achieved with stricter parenting but that would just be a guess.

But what causes the individuals to make drastic changes in their lives this way? Well, reading this may give you an idea.

Governments are becoming aware and thinking of drastic measures before it gets out of hand. Drastic measures ALWAYS seem to relate to loss of freedoms in America. Would you allow it? Do we need it? Could it be different if we didn’t have a spineless jellyfish (jellyfish don’t have spines anyway) in the WH? Questions you may want to answer and have your Congress critters also answer. For me, if we get bombers over here I hope they start small…..say, with using exploding golf balls. I don’t play golf.

The speech just happened so I cannot post what he said. I will tell you the lies and deceit make my skin crawl. Obama talks about Boehner being held hostage by the Tea Party and Boehner will not act on immigration reform this year, even though there are enough bi-partisan votes in the house to pass it. Obama says it doesn’t make any sense because without fixing our broken system, 11+ million illegals won’t come out of hiding and pay taxes and fines, learn English and go on to a path of citizenship by going to the back of the line. It means that the border will remain unprotected. It means that illegals trying to get here will remain in harms way from cartels and coyotes. If Boehner would just put it to the House for an up or down vote, then immigration reform would take place and he would sign the bill. Now he has to get with Homeland Security and the Attorney General to find HOW MUCH he can get around Congress with his executive actions. He would rather it go the right way with Congress’ approval but he will not wait anymore to act and fix this problem. Oh yeah. And being a public servant, you are expected to take care of the needs of the public. The needs of the public.

I have seen nothing about the needs of the public from this guy and his administration. He has an agenda and he wants it completed before he goes bye-bye. Just like he wants immigration reform before the 2014 mid-term elections. Wonder why. He never says anything about Harry Reid not holding an up or down vote on bi-partisan issues presented to the Senate. Reason being, those votes don’t fit Obama’s agenda and would hurt the credibility of the Democrat party (can’t have that) while making things better for the nation. But Obama wants the GOP to help him with his agenda, which would invariably hurt the nation. Like he says, it makes no sense. And what about fixing our immigration system? He is talking amnesty for 11 million (at least triple that figure) so that we can have legal low wage, unskilled, menial labor. There is only so much grass to mow, so many house to clean, limited amount of fast food service businesses and just so much trenches to dig.

It isn’t that you haven’t heard this speech before. I will update when it comes available. In the mean time, pinch your butt cheeks and open your wallets cause here comes another round of Obama “helping”. Don’t forget to keep up your health insurance because you are going to need the service for all these diseases that keep cropping up in the U.S.

UPDATE: Here is a site with all related stories and the speech

San Fransico. Where the hippie movement took hold. Land of Pelosi and Feinstein. Where you have the right to walk around in public neckid…as long as you don’t touch your privates. Home of the homosexual elites. And the home of the Golden Gate Bridge. An engineering marvel in its own right with blood all over its soul. That’s right; it kills people on a regular basis, just by existing. But help is on the way. The board has approved a 76 million dollar net (50 million paid by us) to stop the suicides. A board member was heard saying that “..if the net saves but one life, then it was worth the cost”. I don’t know about all that.

Now the article talks about those being caught trying to jump, for the most part, decide not to try suicide again. Really? Were they given over to mental health institutions and cured? And this cop talks about as soon as they climb to the other side of the 4 foot barrier, it is like having a gun to their head that is cocked and ready to pull the trigger. Why would he say that? Since California has such onerous gun laws, why not make onerous bridge laws? Why a gun and not a bottle of pills? Or a noose? Who really cares. The bottom line is, you will not be able to come from all over the world and commit suicide (with a scenic view when the fog is in) from this wonderful bridge anymore…..unless you really try….with all your heart and soul. It just means that suicides will happen more in the bathroom, or bedroom, or roadway, or backyard tree, or skyscraper, or ocean and river, or any place else.

Another good thing about this net is that if there are 75 million tax payers in the U.S., my share is only 66 cents. I would rather save babies than nutjobs in SF with my money but I guess it is better than having to support sex change operations for misguided homosexual mental defectives. Oh, forgot, Obamacare is already doing that. Well, thee are still 2 years for these screwed up homosexuals to take the leap from the bridge if they so desire. 76 million dollars for a net on a bridge. How much for a net to cover the city? And how much more would it take to build the wall on the border? What a screwy America we live in. Oops. Just had a thought. Will this net be Constitutional, since it will take away an individuals’ freedom of expression? Time will tell.

This one really frosts my ass. The administration decides to have a prison exchange and release 5 real bad guys with the Taliban for 1 army sgt. POW. My son’s platoon either lost or wounded every man in it from Taliban fighters on his last tour. Obama initiated a surge that was not requested by the Pentagon that caused a greater loss of U.S. military lives. Now his SecDef “advises” Congress of the release, without needing Congress’s authorization, just to show “transparency”. And for what? You can pick the poison that suits you. I picked this one because it asks fair questions and gives accounts for those questions. Is this guy a traitor? I guess we will find out more as time goes on. Regardless, was it worth the price or does this administration have something more nefarious in mind? Kinda like releasing alien criminals BACK (they shouldn’t be in the country anyway) into the American population. Of course, this type behavior will continue with this administration until one of released/exchanged people hit those close to THEM! Then things will change, right? Pretty shameful and disgusting behavior on Obama’s part, if you ask me.

We all know that the GOP in Congress is the party of not-conservative. They state they are and turn right around and do things to aid liberal convictions. The Tea Party members of the GOP (who are more true conservatives) are shutdown and ridiculed at every turn by the GOP as a whole. Since the GOP was always associated as the party of conservatism, what happened? I know that over the years I have butt heads with hundreds of people on this subject of “the party”. What I hear most of all is that the GOP needs to win at all costs. This means to me that you trash principles and only field “winnable” candidates so as to have an “R” in some political seat. But what does that do for the people? We have R’s on the LCBOS and most of them could be Dems and you would never know the difference. I made that distinction before they were even elected. No, the GOP is NOT the party or voice of conservatism as is plainly obvious today.

Moving forward, in the news is the appointment of Shaun Kenney of Bearing Drift to executive director of the RPV. Don’t now the guy. I understand that he has made statements in February that “nativists” need to be purged from the party, and I know where that comes from and who it is directed to. But why say that? It is true that the GOP is looking to enhance its rank and file with a new breed of Republican ( opening more doors for homosexuals, Latinos, independents and women) that, supposedly, were somehow shunned from the party. And how that is done is to show these groups that you are flexible and believe in their causes. So every time the Dems come up with a trumped up issue, the GOP needs to counter with their own form on the trumped up issue. But where does law and Constitution fit in all this? We have laws to be obeyed or we change them when the majority of citizens want that. Same with the Constitution. Until that time, you don’t just arbitrarily ignore those laws because you don’t like or believe in them and you don’t ignore them to help affect change, but rather abide and enforce them UNTIL that change is made. So what gives on this statement about purging nativists from the party? Are they nativists because they hold to enforcing the law and Constitution?

The issue is immigration. No one of sane mind will ever hold someone accountable for just LISTENING, especially if it is part of your job description. I just wish that more people would do some listening as it is a skill necessary to have dialogue. You don’t need to agree with what is said but you do need to understand (from the speakers viewpoint). Conversely, a sane person will hold you accountable for what comes out of your mouth, and rightly so. The GOP wants to grow. Immigration is a hotly contested issue and favors the Dems with this voting block. Even if the GOP promises the world, if there is no “free” involved, the GOP gets nothing. Nada. Zilch. Let’s suppose, hypothetically, that they do get something. At what cost and to whom? Should we just have open borders and open the flood gates so that established citizens are left out in the cold and lose their American dream that they have worked so hard for, following, the rules and paying, their dues?

Which brings me forward to this: last night I was at a church in the area. The place was slammed with people and there were two buses in the parking lot. There was a meeting going on inside for this group, as churches often have various meetings for different things. What bothered me about this were the buses, decorated with this bold statement: “Immigration Reform and Amnesty Now”. Oops. So reforming immigration laws, which do need to be changed to obtain the brightest and necessary talent, is tied to amnesty. This is a progressive argument. When someone like the GOP talks about being for immigration reform, is that really the whole story? Is it being sought with amnesty, on the backs of all American citizens? Can you have one without the other? What about those laws and the Constitution that spell this out? Then again, where have all the conservatives in the GOP gone? Who’s party is it anyway?

Yup. Makes sense to me. The world is more unstable than ever before and more people want to do harm to America and the western world than ever before. Hagel sure knows what he is doing. Oh. Hagel is a republican and is an absolute buffoon. How did he ever get elected to that post? What a disgrace to the party.

Now defense needs some culling in areas, no doubt. And Hagel talked with the top brass ( who tend to be more political in this day and age) for concurrence. Making military personnel pay for more things and get less in benefits would make anyone want to enlist (read: the draft will be coming back shortly). Money will be available to keep the F35 albatross going forward (why not just copy the Chinese–they already perfected the damn thing) but out goes the U-2. That means that anything to be seen by satellite will be hidden because our foes know when the satellites come into position. And the Warthog (ground pounder’s best friend) will go away. I assume Dragon Flys and Apaches will now cover that role. And the drones will be relied upon more than ever. Operations will be performed by SOG and we will disable and dismantle an enemies chance of waging war by internet.

Where will the savings go from all these “cutbacks”? Paying off the debt? Building a border fence? Probably into more ludicrous “outings”, rounds of golf, slush funds, entitlements. I know with this savings that the debt ceiling and budget will continue to go up. My advice is stock up on defense weapons. We may need it when Red Dawn comes to past.
