So says Sandra Fluke.  It seems that the main concern is all the sex that is happening at school and how it depletes the money supply so there is nothing left for, say, crack, coke or alcohol.  It can cost upwards of $1,000 a year for birth control and when you are on those public scholarships, oh how on earth will you be able to pay.  Then you have those people with zits or cysts that need to have them.  What?  Birth control cures zits and cysts?  Another friggin’ wonder drug.  What bullshit for wanting others to pay for whoring around.  Get a job.  No, better yet, get a life.

I know about cysts and ovaries.  I know about different birth control procedures and devices.  I’ve lived through it and still am.  This scam being perpetuated on the tax paying public is nothing more than another freebie for irresponsible people.  A girl got raped and didn’t think she could go to the doctor?  Wait a minute.  This is a college student that doesn’t know how to research or read an insurance policy to know what is allowable?  Ask questions of the policy provider?  Call a nurse?  Only the Dems would swallow this shit whole.  “You have to pass it to read what’s in it”.  Do they think that everyone is a valley girl from Ca.?

Go here and see what side effects come from birth control.  Look at the damage and danger that comes from abortion.  What are the medical costs to the general public for your careless acts of promiscuity?  Oh, no one bothered to think about that aspect or even look these things up?  Nothing but another freebie scam that we all will pay forever for.  Use a condom.  Have your sex and take your chance.  Birth control is already free.  It’s called abstinence.  Take responsibility!

When I took over this blog it was with 2 understandings: the first was given to me and I have met it.  The second was a dedication to myself which I am going to fulfill.  My feet are now wet.  I have played biased softball with this election for specific reasons.  Reasons are met and now it is time to play hardball.

Congratulations to all the candidates of the new board.  There are those I just don’t trust.  There are those I just don’t believe.  I had candidate surveys that both sides said they would partake in that did not.  One was a direct commitment with no less than 3 other individuals telling me the candidate would follow through.  That candidate is on this new board and DID NOT follow through as stated.  Bad start and I won’t forget about it.  I will pursue all “attention e-mails” that come my way.  I will be watching the votes as they occur which affect my quality of life in Loudoun.  By no stretch of the imagination are all these candidates conservative.  What I do expect is dedication, integrity and above-board dealings in conjunction with the performance of their positions.  I also expect the other board members to police their own and “educate” those that stray from these principles.  No more “good ol’ boy” networking.

Here is some of what I expect to change under this boards’ tenure:

PET PROJECTS:  Forget about it.  There is no money for this unless you raise it personally.  Otherwise, you balance your checkbook like I do and when you don’t have the money for foolish things, you don’t put it on credit or make other portions of the household account suffer for it.  Just say NO!

REDISTRICTING:  Go back the way it was.  This was all garbage to begin with.  Time to ruck-up and stop being influenced/bullied.

SCHOOL BUDGET:  Get a grip.  IMPORTANT ISSUE!!!!  Time to get serious.  Let teachers pay for more of their benefits.  Get the illegals out of school.  Build taller schools on less ground.  Let those that HAVE kids in school be taxed more that those that don’t.  Cut 5% from the school budget for the next 5 years and then live with it.  Schools need more money?  Try bake sales, sponsorships, benefactors,  and let all the liberals that think the till is bottomless pony-up all that extra cash they feel EVERYONE ELSE should be contributing.  If I would be listened to and heeded for my recommendations, I would rip that school budget a new asshole but no one listens to me anyway.  Plenty of areas for cost savings/cuttings and you have new board members who are adept with the school machinations.  Let’s see what they propose.

REZONING AND BUILDING:  Hello?  Sterling Park (as it was known) was the first suburban community developed for the expansion of Loudoun County.  That “shining star” moniker was very short lived; soon to become the “bastard child of the east”.  We are built out.  We don’t want or need anymore density.  It’s time to make all districts carry a fair share percentage of building in the county.  There are ‘umteen houses yet to be built by developers.  Here’s an idea.  Before anymore DEVELOPER permits are given to new construction, old permits must be fulfilled until less than 500 new units remain.  Term developer permits so that they expire (with their current terms) if not built.  Make the developer (who pass it on to the new homeowners) pay for all roads, schools and infrastructure so that WE DON’T HAVE TO!  But first and foremost, before anyone does anything, sell the freakin’ existing houses on the market!  We need people occupying what is existing before we need to expand even more.  That will boost equity and money in the coiffeurs for the county.  We need to have Sterling as viable as Ashburn or Cascades or Hillsboro.  Am I going to fast for you?

STOP THE ENVIRONMENTAL CRAP:  Moderate and sensible efforts towards clean water and air are always welcome.  DO NOT commit to hostage taking of the citizens!  Don’t play dumb.  You know what I am talking about.

BUSINESS:  It’s okay to bring business here UNLESS they don’t pay their way.  Tired of the “freebies” businesses get off the back of tax paying residents.  If we look nice, smell nice and act nice, business will come on its own.  Maybe we should address what it takes to KEEP some businesses here.  Talk with one of your board members who says he is “all about that” and that it is his forte.  Personally I think he is blowing smoke from being full of all that hot air.

That should be some things to keep your plate full for awhile.  You people arrange the priorities the way you see fit, just as long as they are in the order of lowering assessments, lowering taxes, cutting back school expenditures and living within our means.  Liberals lost so that means it’s time to cinch your belts.  Most of all I will be paying attention and will tend to hold you accountable.  The Main-Stream-Media will no longer be pointed at Mr. Delgaudio as Loudoun’s problem (which, to me, was NEVER the case).  I will have it pointed at the slackers if that is what it takes.  Playtime is over.  Now crack those books!

Play on Toys R Us but I didn’t want the libs playing with the R.  Anyway, I leave you with a quick survey which is sponsored by The Heritage Foundation (of which you all should be members).  The survey is free and you have the option to forward to Congress and then you will be given the option to join.  You can opt out of it at anytime but you can send the message that you are tired of the failed liberal ideas and their adverse affect on Americans and the economy.  As a think-tank, Heritage gives us Americans the best options to live constitutionally and we need their voice and service.

0bama’s entire speech last night was one lie piled on top of another — apparently even to the point of his saying that the income tax is voluntary.  Let’s go through some of his speech:

Good evening.

See — the first words out of his mouth.  It WAS a good evening until he took over the airwaves.

This is a sorry state of affairs for American public school children (AND some private schools).  No wonder we don’t have an up and coming knowledgable voter crop in the young.  This is what we are leaving our destiny to.

If you go here, you will learn the Pledge of Alegiance and its meaning as well as the do’s, don’ts and etiquette of the U.S. flag.  You need to know this for a reason and I will relay to you why thru my Memorial Day experience.

Thousands of WWII veterans are dying each month.  A generation with first hand experiences is about to be lost forever, fading into history books, to be taught to others as people deem fit.  Korean War vets are close behind.  Then it will be the Vietnam era.  I, like many others, look forward to the 3 day weekend for cookouts, gatherings, even shopping and this is all okay.  We are a society that gets to enjoy our days as we deem fit…….as long as a tribute is paid for the occasion of the holiday-Memorial Day.

I took my ride in Rolling Thunder as I have for 23 years now (although I did take a break twice to watch live the CocaCola 600 NASCAR race in Charlotte).  I have been noticing as of late that the purposes to many just seems to be a “group” ride to the city.  Once there, people sit in the shade away from the ride to drink, talk and relax.  Many make new friends or meet up with old buddies they served with.  I watch the bikes for awhile (the procession takes about 6 hours these days) and although it was cruelly humid, the drenching was part of the price.  I happened to have my oldest daughter ride with me this year as well as my nephew.  It was a first for the both of them.  We walked the Wall, saw the nurses memorial and then went to the WWII memorial.  I noticed many foreigners that were marveling on their vacation the sights of the memorials.  Some with disrespect such as sticking their feet in the WWII memorial fountain or the loud talking and running past people at the Wall.  They showed no regard to the vets crying over their buddies or the families remembering Dad with gifts, memorabilia, pictures and poems.  This hit me hard.  Do people not have respect for our fallen heroes?

Depending on which side of Costitution Ave. you are on, if you haven’t returned to the side you need to before the parade starts at noon, you will be stuck for at least 4 hours.  We returned to our side, watched some of the parade and then left to visit my parents at the Lee estate.  We rode into the cemetary and parked at the curb next to the row where my parents headstone is placed.  I saw many people walking the paths going to “those special attractions” and even tourist trams for those that want the riding tour.  I marveled at this.  How do you get to understand the enormity and the individuals in Arlington Cemetary if you DON’T get off the path?  Every headstone has a name and every headstone has a story.  The story, albeit brief, gives a name, rank, war served, birth, death and, sometimes, award.  These are but a smattering of the heroes buried in this nation that served our country so that I could write and talk about this.  My daughter had noticed something and it got my attention in a very upsetting way.  It appears that all too many gravestones had numerous scratches and chips in them due to the people mowing the grass.  The headstones are always trimmed by other means so that this doesn’t happen.  This, in my mind, is another sign of disrespect and contempt.  And, as usual, every headstone and market had an American flag in front of it to show honoring.  This is a timely endeavor but is part of the price paid.  Do tourist really understand what it is about?

As with Sunday, I noticed as I went out Memorial Day to visit my wife’s Dad in Leesburg that there were no flags about.  I will be generous and say that for evryone 40 residences there was ONE flag.  It was no different in Leesburg either, although, on a couple of streets, they had hung flags on the light poles.  This is a day to give honor; a day to remember those who fought and died protecting our freedoms yet I guess everyone was too busy with their own needs.  A flag doesn’t cost much yet where were they?  I know I will see more during the 4th of July than I saw this weekend.

Everyone should own a flag for display outside.  They are very affordable and it is our patriotic duty to fly said flags during special times.  I have many American flags of different materials, sizes and patterns.  They range from $10 to $100 and I USE them.  I do not own an American flag made anywhere but in America.  It just doesn’t seem honorable to fly my countries’ flag that was made in communist China.  I have given you flag etiquette… it.  Some people just put a flag out and leave it out.  Okay.  Some put there flag out on special days.  Okay.  Believe it or not, flying the American flag can be a chore at times because you must keep track of all conditions and how to do it.  Flying the symbol of my country will NEVER be a chore because it is my duty to not only do it but to know how to do it respectfully.  I like to fly my parents flag because that is what they flew on their house when they were living.  Regardless which American flag I fly I will always have pride and give honor to the people of my country.

Where is all this going?  Let me tell you how I feel and why I needed to write this before I just broke down and cried.  I have felt a rage and deep loathing for those politicos, teachers, parents and all others whose job it is as Americans to instill knowledge and duty into every citizen about our heritage, the sacrifices of our citizens for this country and what is so important about its symbol.  I feel pity for those Americans that are ignorant of the value of our flag.  Those that pursued that knowledge on their own and kept it I have great admiration.  I have disdain for those who come to this country, having no “skin in the game”, that give no honor or respect of their perspective new home or that use us with no regard to those who gave sacrifice of which they reap reward.  I am saddened and, at times, cry for those fallen or living that have a deep respect and understanding of duty, honor and valor, yet feel betrayed, lost or remorseful for their contributions.  We are losing America and I feel betrayed.

I would like to leave you with the folding of the flag and TAPS story.  Read the story and read the words.  My eyes do well-up by the understanding.  At this point I feel that I have done my duty to inform you.  I believe it is up to us all to inform others and keep our nations symbol in honor.  And although you might come across those people that feel their right to burn or mutilate that symbol; my knowledge and understanding of that symbol gives me the right to go to jail for pummeling said individuals.  That is another price that needs to be paid.  Freedom is not free and will always carry a price that every citizen must pay.

I wish to thank my Dad, my Mom and all those service men and women as well as civilians who have made my liberty possible.  GOD bless you all!

I loved this, and I hope Cafferty is right about remembering at mid-term elections …

“You Lie” Wilson seems to have been right. Again in the state of the union, Obama lying about the SCOTUS in overturning McCain-Feingold in Citizen United is yet another example. How can you tell that Obama is lying? His lips are moving doesn’t seem to cover all the times this guy can lie.
