A Preview Of Barack Obama’s America

Friday, October 31st, 2008

“Double standards?” Oh, brothers, that does not even scratch the surface as to what we are in for.

As noted the other day: this whole free speech concept is going to get some serious whittling down when the subject in question is Dear Leader.

And here we have the upshot. You hang Sarah Palin in effigy and it’s fair game. Try the same thing on Barack Obama and you get in trouble with the Man. Be prepared to lie low for a couple years, friends.

More Special Treatment For Barack Obama

When you hang Sarah Palin in effigy, it’s all in good fun. When it’s Barack Obama, however, they launch an investigation.

Obama Goon Squad In NYC

Friday, October 17th, 2008

Are you ready for this kind of change, America?

So I reached for the sign that he ripped up, and he grabbed another sign, broke it, and ripped it to shreds. And when I said, “You can’t do that,” he took the stick from the sign and started beating me on the head with it. He broke the skin on my head, he scratched my wrist, and almost broke my glasses, and then he left.

I followed him down the stairs to the subway until I could get the police and I said, “You’re not going to get away with it.” And as soon as he saw the police he immediately went calm. He still had the stick in his hand, and you could see the injury on my face, and he admitted it. He was arrested. He actually said, “I don’t know why I did this. It’s just those signs, and this election, it has me so upset.”

The story is not so much another dangerous Obama follower, but the media which will refuse to report on yet another incident of radical suppression of free speech by the Obama followers.

Barack Obama Pledges To Take Your Money And “Spread It Around”

Friday, October 17th, 2008

It’s very simple, what Barack Obama has in mind for this country: Communism. (This video soft pedals the issue a bit, but is basically spot on).

He believes it is time for the government to take your money and spread it around.

And the reason I believe we are talking about communism rather than socialism is because in my definition communism represents a much more aggressive dissolution of economic class distinctions until there are only two: a tiny ruling elite and a massive remaining population of government dependents. A few who got on the good side of the game, and a whole bunch of poor mofo’s who got the shaft.

Listening to Barack Obama’s post-debate comments on “Joe the Plumber” is there any question what he thinks of the working class?

Oh, and also on the “communism” definition: I don’t equate socialism so much with the goon squad factor, which is a growing element of the Obama campaign every damn day it seems.

Obama’s Goon Squads On Prowl In Sterling

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

Just went home for lunch and found the Obama people have made it to our neighborhood. The McCain-Palin sign from my front lawn and I think also the McCain sign from my neighbor across the street were stolen after I left for work.

You have to go a little off the beaten path to get to our neighborhood so my guess is Obama’s thugs are now just cruising the sidestreets looking to pick off any signage that challenges their messiah. They left the two signs on the main street on the way in which would have exposed them to possible observers.

Time for plan B, in which we place many signs and expect the Obama people to return.

How An Obama Administration Will Shut Down Opposing Voices

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Here’s a thought experiment:

It is abundantly clear that Barack Obama does not suffer opposition well. You talk down about Barack, you need to be shut up. More here.

Leftism historically has been synonymous with totalitarianism and there is no reason to expect it would be any different should Obama and his thugs gain control in the U.S.

So if Barack Obama wins the U.S. presidency, how exactly will he shut down the opposing voices?

I assume this blog will go dark by next spring if Obama wins, and have been ruminating about the exact mechanics of the shutdown.

I think it would involve a combination of regulatory and tax controls. Something like a “Freedom of Expression Act” which would entail that anyone expressing “political” views would need to submit to a federal regulatory authority, in recognition of the many new available channels for expression in the Internet age. If you are publicly expressing “political” opinions on the Web, you would need to be registered and regulated, and pay a tax for the privilege.

In practice, I think this would work strongly against anyone expressing conservative views. Those on the liberal side, propagating ideas on topics such as global warming, would be exempt from the regulation because such views would be considered “scientific” rather than political. Extrapolate this to abortion, home schooling, and any number of ethical matters: Conservative blogs, publications and talk radio would fall under the code while liberal and mainstream media outlets would be exempt.

We are going to be silenced. How do you all see it happening?

The Coming Obama Thugocracy

What we have seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg.

A Chill Wind Coming For Freedom Of Speech

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

For anyone who still is not clear about what an Obama Justice Department would be like (I’m thinking three letters: K-G-B), Andrew McCarthy has gathered the evidence together in one place:

The chill wind was bracing. The Taliban could not better rig matters. The Prophet of Change is only to be admired, not questioned. In the stretch run of an American election, there is to be no examination of a candidate for the world’s most powerful office — whether about his radical record, the fringe Leftism that lies beneath his thin, centrist veneer, his enabling of infanticide, his history of race-conscious politics, his proposals for unprecedented confiscation and distribution of private property (including a massive transfer of American wealth to third-world dictators through international bureaucrats), his ruinous economic policies that have helped leave Illinois a financial wreck, his place at the vortex of the credit market implosion that has put the U.S. economy on the brink of meltdown, his aggressive push for American withdrawal and defeat in Iraq, his easy gravitation to America-hating activists, be they preachers like Jeremiah Wright, terrorists like Bill Ayers, or Communists like Frank Marshall Davis. Comment on any of this and risk indictment or, at the very least, government harassment and exorbitant legal fees.

Nor was this an isolated incident…

More Obama Thuggery

Monday, September 29th, 2008

Enjoy the free speech while we still have it, folks. From what appears to be coming, I’d say the blogosphere will be a lot less crowded after the Obama Justice Department gets in gear.

More here.

UPDATE: Speaking of thuggery – some background on one of Obama’s mentors, ignored by the mainstream media.
